THE PRESIDENTS REPORT AND ADDRESS 2004

Greeting to you all in Jesus name.
It is my greatest joy to present this address today in this great event of our college. El Theological college derived its name from the Hebrew word El meaning “God” and this name of course has attracted power and presence of God to the college. This college was established about the 36 months ago through the vision and leadership of God.

I started the school without any friend, without any board, without any support of the church and without a single student but the father, the son and the Holy Ghost who advertised and brought people to the college. El Theological college is not a branch of any existing Bible college in Nigeria and not owned by any church denomination but owned by God and all who believe in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, therefore our College is an inter-denominational Bible college that admits Christians from different fellowship backgrounds.

It will be an omission if this address is void of existence, our vision, courses in our college and our needs. I therefore use this time to speak more of these.

  1. THE PURPOSE OF OUR EXISTENCE: Our Bible College is established to correct many errors caused by Theological College and ministered of our days which have affected the churches today. Many Bible Colleges teach the letter and allow the spirit to die, some are after money and not after heaven or salvation, while some preachers of some Bible colleges cannot even boast of GCE but today are called the Reverend Doctors. The deadness and politics that started in the Bible colleges have made many churches to be the home of criminals, houses of liars, alter of dupes and closet of sinners and boasters. These painful, shameful and unbiblical habits in the houses of God motivated God to raise a prophet like me and to establish a home of correction like El Theological College to correct and to heal such ugly conditions, which today many ministers both those in full time with us and those on part time have received spiritual healing, deliverance and the true word of life.
  2. SCHOOL PROGRAMMES: Like other secular universities. El Theological College has many academic programmes. El Theological college has postgraduate department to prepare those for master’s and doctorate degrees. We  have department of part time and correspondence studies and have been helping ambitious students from distant areas with study materials and guidelines to private studies. Nevertheless, we do all these because we have knowledge and materials that can authenticate them.
  3. THE COLLEGIANS: Our students cannot only compete and defeat students from other Bible colleges but our students stand as lectures to students with theological courses but also with secular courses studied in the secular universities especially those studied by the faculty of humanities. Our diploma students studied more than the masters degree students of some Bible colleges and can teach even those with masters degrees. This is a simple truth that needs no debate. Our students here are my witnesses.
  4. COURSES IN OUR COLLEGE: It has been generally known, believed and expressed by many people even some presidents of other Bible college that El Theological College is the most academic, most spiritual, most balanced, most truthful and the best Bible college presently in Abia State. This truth is evidenced in the number of courses offered by our college, the systems of chapel services, preaching and teaching in our college. Our college, has the highest number of courses in Nigeria. This is not exaggeration to tell you that our diploma students study more than 95 courses, while the degree students study more than 190 courses before their graduation for complete and comprehensive equipment. These numbers of courses are not obtainable in most Bible Colleges in Nigeria.
  5. OUR LECTURES AND STUDENTS: We have qualified lectures who were properly groomed, well equipped, disciplined and theologically sound. Our lectures are holy men and women who are the epitome of what they are teaching. They make themselves fathers to the students and friends that sticketh closer than brothers. Today we are graduating and matriculating some students, our graduating students will represent and speak of this Bible college where ever they are because of what they received from this college. The matriculating students are today admitted into the academic stream of El Theological College for wider knowledge. There is always a rapport and harmonious relationship between the lectures and the students and these since attracted love, respect and unity among us.
  6. AFFILIATION: Our college is affiliated to Victory Bible Institute U.S.A., we are not running a quackish institution. Our college is registered in Nigeria while our lecturers are qualified for the job.
  7. OUR VISION: Without vision, there will be no mission is the true product of vision. We want to train and equip ministers who will correct the corruptions that have filled our land even in the churches. We want to produce people with sound educational and theological power who will be bold to condemn evil in our society, convert the occultist, the heathens, the church goers, the leaders of thoughts and the great men of our time. We want to extend theological education to the churches by training the church workers to be more useful in the hand of God. We therefore, request you to send your deacons, teachers, ushers and other workers for sound part time theological training that will last only but one year. We want to extend theological education to the churches by training the church workers to be more useful in the hand of God. We therefore, request you to send your deacons, teachers, ushers and other workers for sound part time theological training that will last only but one year. We want to make this land the Christian land and hand it over God completely.
  8. MERITORIOUS AND HONORARY DOCTORATE DEGREE AWARDS: Today we have good people of our great nation whose testimonies of good works, sincerity, love and contributions to the church, to the government and to individuals have reached heaven, covered the earth and down to us. Their testimonies have proved to be true with many evidences within and without. Some of them today will be decorated as doctors, while some also will have certificates of merit due to their great contributions. The people are great and I know their friends and well wishers who come with the would be doctors to do something gently and maturely though with joy in their hearts and praises in their lips. I will present when it is time for that.
  9. APPRECIATION: I thank God who is building this college, I say “May all honor, all praise, and kingly worship to be given to his holy name”… Amen. I will not forget to thank and appreciate our present and outgoing students who have embraced the discipline and holiness of our college and completely became the errand team of our college. Worthy to note are the services, sacrifices and diligence of our lecturers who have devoted their time, talent and energy to build this college, among whom are Re Emma Eleke MA, ThM, Rev Ebere Nwukwa  MA, Rev Mrs. Zuriel Alice Ononuju ThB, MA, Rev. Titus Okeoma ThM, Rev. Augustus Nwigwe ThM, Rev. Stella Omemgbeoji, MA, Pastor Chidi Uko ThM, Rev Dr. A. Ebem and Rev. Jude Adibe. My great appreciation goes to the governing council who labored, sacrificed and worked with me to actualize this occasion today. I also thank the administrative council that worked the academic programmes of this college. I thank all of you who responded to our invitation, I say may the almighty God bless and protect you in JESUS NAME.
  10. APPEAL: I plead with good Nigerians here to help this interdenominational Bible College, whatever thing you give us for the building of this college will be utilized for the purpose in which you give it. We have many needs but anyone that the Lord may lay in your heart to do, we shall appreciate it. We need computers, chapel equipment (amplifier, microphone, speakers and generator). We need gospel van, white seats, video sets and video camera. There are many things we need that will make this college meet her target, if God has touched you to do all or one of them, just let us know we shall allow you to speak out. I want to assure you that whatever cash you give in order to support this college is directly given to God and God will not fail to reward you.
  11. THE PROBLEM OF INDIGENT STUDENTS: There are many people in our churches who are called by God but are hindered by money, this also becomes a great challenge that money hindered the work of God while you are around. This is very ridiculous. In our college, we have many students who cannot even transport themselves to school or can they pay their school fees, some cannot pay their school fees, some are planning to drop, some are crying while others are regretting because God called them to service without sponsor. These students are sincere and are willing to work for God but no money to carry on their training. Are you not challenged that money is trying to be a hindrance to God’s work. If God has touched you about any of these students or all of them, please indicate by writing or vowing openly and telling us what you can do to help the poor students finish their studies. I am sure God will not forget you if you sponsor a called man to be a minister. So if you are touched please help them, we have many of them.

CONCLUSION: I thank you all, who are here today to witness this great occasion, but may I request one thing from you, “please carry the good news, good programmes and wonderful activities of this college to your people, to your friends, to your college, direct them here and we shall satisfy them. Our school resumes 20th  April, 2014. Our office will be opened for admission from tomorrow, we are still open for admission or enquire as from tomorrow, and we are still open for admission. May the great God protect and take you safely home in Jesus Name.

Rev Prof Emma Ononuju
The president.

THE PRESIDENT REPORT AND ADDRESS 2005
Greetings of love in Jesus name. We are here today to celebrate the blessings of God in this good weather. We have seen another academic year of progress. I thank God for your presence and the love you have for the college and the entire work of God which compelled you to be here today.

El Theological College is a new Bible College in the state with great burden to spread the gospel by preparing men and women who are called to work in the church of God. This short address will cover our vision, our goals, task, our projects, plans, programmes, connections and our academic performances.

  1. OUR VISION: Our vision is to train powerful, holy and well balanced ministers who will carry the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all nations. This type of work will only be done by equipping the students with needed theological materials as we are doing.
  2. ACADEMIC PERFORMANCES: We are not exaggerating by saying that our Bible college performs very well, and stands as the highest school in the state hence our students are enriched with the highest theological courses and stand as the greatest among their equals.
  3. GROWTH OF OUR COLLEGE: Our numerical growth is rapidly increasing, though we need more students hence we are not satisfied with the present number because there are many called men and women who need to be trained in a Bible college like ours where both their spiritual gifts, academic performances and knowledge will be exposed, enriched and groomed.
  4. COURSES IN OUR COLLEGE: In fact, our students enjoy rich courses, hardly fabricated in any other place which made both the students and our college very peculiar. We offer about 100 courses to our diploma students and about 200 courses to our bachelor degree students to give them comprehensive ministerial equipment needed in our society nowadays.
  5. OUR ADMISSION: We admit students for full time, part time and for correspondence studies. We have students coming from Port Harcourt, some from Umuahia, Enugu, Mgbidi, Owerri, Nnewi, and other parts of the country. Today we have many students from Kaduna who are matriculating as new students of our college.
  6. INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: Our college has recently admitted students from other countries of Africa for their bachelors and postgraduate studies, and we hope to have more of them soonest.
  7. QUALITY OF MINISTERS: We aimed at producing the needed ministers in the churches and in the society. We groom them, shape them, disciple them and full equip them, making brother no body, to be brother somebody and making preacher no unction, to be preacher full unction. This is the type of equipment we are talking about, where people discover their gifts, the purpose and specific areas of their calling and be involved in them.
  8. OTHER DEPARTMENTS IN OUR COLLEGE: We have computer department for all computer businesses and for complete literacy of the students. We also invite all who want to be computer literate to join our computer school for quicker and sound computer education. We also have well equipped Christian bookstore for the yawners and seekers of spiritual food. We also invite those who need Christian books, theological books and other Christian materials to come to our bookstore for their satisfaction.
  9. OUR EXTENSION PROGRAMMES: We run extenuation programmes such as church to church programmes or extension programme in other towns and states. Presently, we have another branch of El Theological College at television village, Angwa Yelwa Kaduna, worthy to note is the courage, strong faith and willingness exhibited by our Kaduna branch students to be here today and to join this matriculation today as our new students of El Theological College.
  10. OUR RESPECT TO THE GOVERNMENT: We are not rebels; we respect our government, respect the president, governors, local government chairmen and their deputies. We are not against the government, we relate very well with them, that’s why we invite them to our occasions and that is why they attend as invite them, hence they are co-labourers in fighting evil in the society. We encourage the governments of the Old Testament Jews who were the true representatives of God on earth, we are not compromizers but projectors of God’s plan on earth and must continue to represent God here on earth and in Nigeria where we occupy.
  11. OUR STUDENTS: Our graduating students are the epitome of the teachings they have received. They are morally, spiritually and academically trained who will carry them today with this word “Be you good ambassadors of Jesus and of this college where ever you go”.
  12. OUR LECTURERS: Our lecturers are men and women who know what they are doing, what they believe and where they are. I trust them hence they were not picked from the fainted and weak ministers but they are called from different areas of life to join Jesus boat of fishing.
  13. THE PERSONALITIES HERE TODAY: Worthy to note is the presence of the special guest of honor in the person of Dr Chima Nwafor, the deputy governor of Abia State and his men. I thank him and appreciate his contributions to the growth of the Abia State government, Nigerian government, and the human community at large. I say may the Almighty God bless and keep him, also I shall not fail to mention the presence of a great preacher, prophet and pastor of pastors who also is our guest speaker Bishop Ezugo Ekewuba, the president and founder of the Over Comers Christian Mission, my special thanks also go to my Lord Jesus Christ whose business we are in. I thank all of you who are here today, I acknowledge your presence but space to write your names one after the other is not available but you are very important and too dear to me, thank you for coming.
  14. SPECIAL AWARD: As its written, “Give honour to whom honor is due” whether this statement is scriptural, philosophical, traditional or otherwise, it is unshiftable truth of every hour. Therefore we have some important personalities whose lives, works, contributions and general efforts have given birth to millions of social developments, human growth, spiritual building, people’s achievements, blessings, economic advancement, nation building and general progress at homes, in individuals lives and in the growth with progress of our country at large. They shall be awarded today with different special awards.
  15. OUR NEEDS: We have many plans for growth, for expansion and plans to reach our targets. In order to achieve these therefore, we need land, van for the college, musical equipment, public address system, video machine, more computers and cash to carry on the jobs. I plead with you here if God is leading you provide all these, some of them or one of them, please indicate openly or privately to me and I am assuring you that whatever thing given or any support to this college must be utilized for the specific purpose for which it was given. You all know we cannot carry these projects alone, we need your help and support to do the job effectively.
  16. THE INDIGENT STUDENTS: There are many called men and women in our college who are not financially balanced to carry on their training. Most of these spirit filled men and women are often pleading to the public and good spirited people of God to support them financially to carry on their training in our college. I am equally pleading on their behalf, that you should for Christ sake see the needs of these brethren who have voluntarily surrendered to work for God on full time service but crowded with financial handicap. I promise that whatever cash you give for the further training of these indigent students will be used for their training alone. You can vow openly for that or see me privately for that I am sure God will bless you as you care for the poor and for the spread of the gospel at large.
  17. APPRECIATION: I love all of you who are here today to grace this great occasion. My special thanks and honour go to the king of kings, Lord of Lords – JESUS Christ our Lord, to the pastors, gospel ministers, church officers, church members and all who are here today because of our invitation to this great programme. I thank you for considering us worthy of your response.  I thank all of you here today, I say may the Almighty God keep, bless and lead you safely to your various destinations in JESUS NAME.

Thank you for your love.
I am Emma Ononuju
The president.

THE PRESIDENT’S REPORT AND ADDRESS 2006

Greetings of love in Jesus Name.
We are here again to celebrate the blessings of God in this good weather. We thank God for another academic year of progress. We also thank God for your presence here today. I welcome all of you in Jesus wonderful name.

El Theological college is one of the newest Bible colleges in the state, which has come to stay. El Theological College, though a new Bible college in the state but stands as the  most spiritual, most theological, most charismatic, most practical, most academic and the best Bible college in the state. As a Bible college with vision we have many good and godly things to share with the church and the society at large.

  1. OUR PRESENT VISION: Our vision and the purpose of our existence presently is to train and equip powerful, holy charismatic ministers who will carry the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all nations of the world. We are existing to fulfill the call of God and to obey the voice of God in this last generation, there are many things we see as task which we shall not fail to achieve among which are:
  2. To bring back the dignity and influence of the church and ministry that are marred by hirelings and arrogant preachers of our days.
  3. To make gospel ministers (students) discover and recover what God has bestowed in them, and help them to develop their potentials and to do what God has called them to do.
  4. To build, equip and direct the students (ministers) spiritually, theological and ministerially and to face the challenge ahead.
  5. To develop the potentials of the students (ministers) and to help them use their potentials for the benefits and blessings of others.
  6. To motivate evangelism, missions, church planting and church growth by creating great awareness and emphasizing their importance in the school.
  7. To equip evangelist, missionaries, and church workers and to reach the unreached and to church the unchurched.
  8. To spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ by teaching needed courses to students and by involving ourselves practically in the field of evangelism and soul winning.
  9. Making Christians and ministers to understand, capture and pursue their inheritance in Jesus Christ.
  10. ACADEMIC PERFORMANCES: This is not an exaggeration to say that our Bible college performs very well and stands as the best while our students are the best in the field of theology and Christian ministry at large. Our lecturers are mature, trained and well informed in the academic field. Our lecturers are tested and clear Christians who are gospel conscious.
  11. COURSES IN OUR COLLEGE: In fact, our students enjoy the richest and most balanced courses  hardly fabricated elsewhere. Such rich courses and training in our college have made our students and college peculiar. Our diploma students are equipped academically while our bachelor students enjoy spiritual issues before their graduation. Our courses are very rich, highly academic, very numerous, spiritual and ministerially great.
  12. OUR ADMISSION: We admit students for full time, part time and distance studies. We have some students from Anambra State, some from Kogi, Rivers, Imo, Delta, Enugu and Kaduna States. Our admission is three times a year. We have deep consideration on our students and help them meet God’s standards. We have some president and lecturers of some Bible Colleges who are our students irrespective of their offices as Bible college presidents.
  13. INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: We have some students from other parts of Africa including Kenya, East Africa, Liberia and Siera lone who are presently our students who heard the dept. of academic courses we are giving and were attracted to join us, who have their own testimonies on how God helped, built and groomed them through their studies with us.
  14. OUR GROWTH: Though, a new college in the state but still is growing more rapidly than many colleges that started before us. Our fame is spreading all over the country and beyond such positive fame of our school has given birth to the rapid growth of El Theological College. I started El Theological College by faith and strong trust in God’s leadership, hence the college started without a board members and without a helper and without any visitor for the first five months but with God the father, Jesus Christ and the Holy ghost whose work I was involved, El Theological college is growing and is known everywhere.
  15. SPECIAL AWARD: As it is common with many qualified institutions to award some citizens who have in one way or the other done works worthy of such awards, we also have some important people who have in one way or the other helped, encouraged and built the churches, families, individuals, societies and communities. They have been instrument of God to extend good programmes to people and based on their testimonies, we shall award them today and we want you to co-operate with us.
  16. PERSONALITIES HERE TODAY: We are happy to have all of you today, I am very happy for the turnout of people today. I want to appreciate our guest speaker and our chairman who have contributed to the success of this great occasion may the Almighty God keep and bless them. Worthy to mention is the presence of our special guest of honour, the deputy governor of Abia State Dr Chima Nwafor whose testimony without exaggeration is a challenged to many office holders and those in authority. Dr Chima Nwafor is very sincere, good and always out for the gospel. He loves the gospel and joins hands to spread the gospel irrespective of his position as the  number two citizen of the state. His presence here today did not only show us how he loves Jesus and his works but also reveals how he supports the ministry of Jesus Christ, I believe Dr Chima needs the prayers of the gospel ministers in the state, may the almighty God bless him and grant him his heart desires in Jesus name.
  17. OUR REQUEST: We are calling men and women, church workers, ministers and all who want to be trained, equipped and advanced in knowledge or in scriptures and ministries even those who want to be trained should come to El Theological college, we shall give them what they need by God’s special grace.
  18. ADVICE TO OUR GRADUATING AND MATRICULATING STUDENTS: Some of you are today graduating, while some are matriculating. Remember, you are gospel ministers; God is everywhere you are. Be epitome of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Make sure you represent Jesus in spreading the gospel and winning souls for Christ. Don’t join bad groups; don’t join fallen ministers, liars and people with stained reputations in our society who call themselves ministers. Remember, “Without holiness, no eye shall see the Lord” to matriculating students, you are in a right place, be patient and obedient and we shall help you be what God wants you to be.
  19. THE POOR STUDENTS: I am pleading with good spirited individuals to help some students who are called but are handicapped by lack of finance to pay their tuition fees. These poor students are serious, sincere and faithful students heartedly surrounded and responded to Gods call but lacked the finance to train themselves. I plead with you to be touched with their poor conditions and show this by training, sponsoring or helping one or some of these students to finish their courses (studies) here. I promise that whatever thing given for the training, sponsoring or supporting these indigent students will be utilized for the very purpose in which it was originally given. Please be touched with others pain according to the Bible (God’s word).
  20. SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: We have awarded many scholarships to many indigent students and are still given to many whose calling and ministries are plain, still there are many such indigent students to help, we shall not cater for the total burden of the indigents students alone, we need your help. Our door is still open for scholarship of those whom God will direct us to help and you can be our partner in sponsoring called men and women. In fact almost every student in our college is on scholarship by our administration.
  21. AMERICAN BRETHREN: (IVBI) Worthy to mention is the courage, advice and godly examples from our American brethren, the victory family Tulsa OK USA. Who are not here today as you know, we are affiliated with Victory Bible Institute Tulsa USA and bretheren from that institute have been encouraging us. Worthy to mention is the love of Pastor Billy Joe and Sharon Daugherty (the General Overseer of Victory Bible Center) and Ron and Jill Stafford (The international Director of Victory Bible Institute USA) we are praying for them, as we know they are praying for God to continue keeping and blessing them in Jesus name.
  22. OUR NEEDS: There is no institution without needs. We have many needs and we want. You are to join hands with us to solve these problems. Be our partner in Gods business, we need your support morally, financially and otherwise. There are many challenges facing us and it should not be too much for you to help us in solving one, some or all of these. Whatever thing you give here for the progress of Gods work must be used accordingly and for the purpose in which it was given without directing it to any other things. The following things are our needs in El Theological College presently.
  23. We need college van for speed errands and general businesses of the college.
  24. We need about six plots of land in Aba for the permanent site of our college and the amount to get this runs into millions of naira.
  25. We need computers, printers, scanning machines, photocopy machines, videos, video machines and recording machines for the college.
  26. We need library as a college in the commercial city, we also need public address system and gospel equipment.
  27. We need musical equipment for our chapel services, we also need public address system and gospel equipment.
  28. We are in a rented building that takes much amount of money from us every year we are not capable of meeting up, we need your help in this issue.
  29. We need a standby general and office equipment.
  30. We need your help financially to keep to us going, growing and to meet up with other administrative matters. THE PRESIDENTS REPORT AND ADDRESS 2007

Greetings of love in Jesus name. We have gathered here again to graduate and to matriculate our good students. We thank God for today’s good weather and appreciate you greatly for your presence.

El Theological College is a registered institution in Nigeria. It is empowered to train gospel ministers and to teach all theological courses. Since the birth of this institution in 2001, it has graduated more than 200 students who are today powerful men and women of God in Nigeria.

In admission, we have admitted many students from Nigeria, some from Cameroon, some from Sierra Leone and others from Kenya East Africa. Today we shall also graduate some international students from Cameroon and Kenya.

Many people may want to know our focus, yes, our focus is to train ministers of the gospel who will hate nothing but sin, pursue nothing but heaven, live nothing but holily, capture nothing but charisma, boast of nothing but spirituality, possess nothing but academic life and become nothing but great gospel preachers.

It is not exaggeration to say that El Theological College is the most spiritual, most academic, most charismatic, and most theological and the best Bible College in the state for now and we promise to maintain the ground as the Lord lives.

We are aware and have observed with great dismay the fallen and apostate state of the Churches which have ruined the primary purpose of the christen ministers which presently have made many preachers to be dupes at the pulpits while churches nowadays are made to commercial centers where money becomes the theme of the gospel, many false professors and non academic leaders have risen to establish Bible Colleges all to make money. El Theological College is born to correct these errors and to restore the minister’s dignity, the church divine connection and original prestige of Gods people.

As a university lecturer, I have combined most of the courses from the secular universities that are very relevant to the gospel ministers and great theologians of our days, thus, our Bible College has more courses than every other Bible College in the state and at the same time becomes the most ordered Bible College in this part of Nigeria. It is our great honour to have many great Nigerians in our midst. We thank God for Chief Onyema Ugochukwu who is our special guest of honour who has left all he supposed to do and where he supposed to go but decided to be with people of God in God’s own programme today. God will never fail to honour the person that hours him, so his presence here today is an honour to God our father. My thanks also go to Dr. & Mrs. S.M.C., Madagwu the chairman of this occasion and the guest speaker Rev. Dr. Lawrence Chukwu who all are here today to honour God.

I did not speak comprehensive, if I fail to appreciate our new students and the outgoing students, your contributions to this college is great and God shall never forget you. Yes, in every success, there are wise people behind it. Our lecturers are the wise men behind the success of this college. It is my earnest desire to thank Rev. Dr. Perdect Emmereniri, Rev. Dr. Augustus Chinedum, Rev. Dr. Simon Umeh, Rev. Dr. Innocent Otuokali, Rev. Prosper Kargbo, Pastor Jonathan Ifeann, Pastor F.I. Atuzeogu, Miss Prudence Nnadozie and other great men and women whose contributions and efforts are making this college great. Worthy to mention is the contributions of Rev. Dr. Filed Marshal Chikereuba and members of the governing council of this college. May God bless them richly in Jesus name.

I also want to use this occasion to express my appreciation to our American counterparts, whose prayers and advice are very meaningful to us. We thank Rev. Billy Joe and Sharon Daugherty, Rev Ron & Jill Stafford and other members of the victory family in U.S.A.

After today’s convocation, our school will vacate and will resume on 24th April 2007. Our office is still open to admit new students, therefore direct your called men and women to our college, we shall groom them and revive them for the masters use.

It is not sinful to tell this congregation that every genuine work of God needs money to sponsor it. We therefore appeal for support and help to carry this vision through. We need many things that will help us and keep us going and growing among which are

  1. Land for our permanent site (not less than eight plots).
  2. School library.
  3. School van.
  4. Computers and office equipments.
  5. Cash to run different affairs of the college.
  6. Duplicating and dubbing machines.
  7. Gospel Band for our chapel services.
  8. Public address system for chapel services.
  9. Class furniture for the comfort of the students.
  10. Constant prayers for our continuous survival.

Any of these problems which you can help us solve shall be appreciated and our God must surely bless you, because He says give and ye shall receive. This is God’s work and God Himself knows I am not doing it to make name, therefore whatever you give to God today for the gospel sake, you shall receive 100 fold in JESUS name Amen.

I also want to challenge the gospel lovers here to be involved in God’s work. Let us think beyond our denominations but let’s think about heaven, God and the body of Christ that cannot be divided. You can still do God’s work here and God will bless you because of the heart through which you did the job. There are many students who are really called but are threatened to drop because of money, they can’t continue because they cannot train themselves. Why not pick one, two or some of them to train for God’s work. You can do this by paying their tuition fees which will attract God’s blessings to you.

I have spoken much, I wish you safe journey back to your destinations. Amen.

My special advice goes to our students who are graduating and matriculating students today, even those who are not graduating nor matriculating. I charge you, not to join church breakers, pulpit defilers position seekers, denominational splitters, cult, and occult preachers, court goers and accusers of their fellow Christians who believe that the Holy ghost cannot settle church matters or differences in the church  unless the matters go to court and to be handed by an unbelieving judges and magistrates in the courts. This is a disgrace to the gospel and contrary to our sermons. I therefore charge you to represent this Bible College in secrets, in open places, where ever man is found, in full presentation of the gospel, in charisma and in holiness.

I see it as a great omission if my wife’s efforts, advice and encouragements are not mentioned in line with the progress, growth and advancement of El Theological College Nigeria. My wife Rev. Mrs. Alice Zuriel has been my helper, comforter and adviser in all my efforts in this college, may the almighty father bless her in JESUS name. My thanks go to my two kids Uriel and Ammiel for their patience, love and appreciation. May God continue to bless and keep them in Jesus name.
I will not fail to thank the Rector, the registrar and the staff of El Theological College Kaduna campus. Our work at Kaduna state is fast progressing, and the lord is doing wonders in our Bible college at Kaduna, please help me to pray for that branch because the hand of God is there also.

Having said all these, I wish you journey mercies, may the angels of God take you safely to your different destinations at the end of this programme. Thank you and God bless you – In JESUS name Amen.

This course is free for all and too rich and helpful it is a helpmeet for ministers in the village and urban towns.
  10.   WEEKEND MINISTRIES: As our college is a holiness and truth emphasizing one, we want out students to be sincere and be diligent in whatever thing they are doing, either in his church, outside his church or in the gospel field. The activities expected are either preaching, teaching, singing or any other way he or she preached the gospel during each weekend.

The texts, topics and the place where the programme was held should all be documented and be presented to the director of Christian ministry every Monday morning. This service has 20% of the student’s marks (on ministry). If the student is not a pastor his or her pastor should sign the document before presenting that to our college. This programme is aimed at helping our students to be serious with God’s work and to expose them to duties before their graduation.

OUR VISION: The vision of this college is to “Go into the world and make converts” because of this great commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ, we decided to train, equip and to build our students with rich theological and secular courses in order to win and convert the poor, the rich and the big men of the world for Christ. We want to win the present and past heads of state, governors, federal ministers, state commissioners, government officials, the rich and big business men in the society whom many pastors and evangelists are afraid to approach because of timidity and low educational background, that’s why we want to train our people to meet the standard of the society in order to win this class of people. This shows that two immediate tasks of the school are:

  1. To train workers to reach and win the world for Christ.
  2. To win the world by the means of the gospel.

El Theological College has task of training every called man or woman. There is a remedial classes for those suffering from disadvantages in education, therefore there is evening classes every day from 4pm to 8pm Monday – Friday to prepare men and women, especially these two categories below.

  1. The illiterate struggling to be literate.
  2. Those struggling to be useful in God’s vineyard we prepare them to stand bold for Christ.

Students are advised to choose their desired certificates, diplomas or degrees as stipulated above.

Nevertheless, the choice of certificate is not in the hands of the qualified students, but those who are not academically qualified shall receive certificates according to their qualifications or level of education, hence we cannot cheapen the education nor destroy the power and influence of education by issuing degrees to illiterates, God forbid.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION: El Theological College admits both educated and uneducated Christians who have the call of God, who also will receive certificates according to their levels.

Nevertheless, those who want to earn their degrees should possess their five (5) credits in G.C.E or its equivalent according to the standard of Nigerian universities and those abroad. Long ministerial service is another advantage to earn our certificates.

QUALITY OF COURSES: El Theological College is the best theological college in Abia State Nigeria and has one of the best qualities in academic input. The college is designated to help the ministers and to upgrade their education and ministry in the present computer age. It is the aim of El Theological College to help the educated to be more educated and to heal all from shyness and bring all to boldness. El Theological College has the highest number of courses for the students. El Theological College (Eltheco) has qualified lectures that expose the quality materials needed by the students.

GRADING SYSTEM IN ELTHECO: The grading system in Eltheco like other universities is very high and shows the true standard desired by students. Stated below are the present grading system. The only useful scores are A, B and C. Students are advised to study hard in order to score the highest. Results are placed on the wall after examinations to help the students know their scores and to encourage them to study hard.

CONDITION FOR GRADUATION: Every student must finish his or her class work, finish the payment of every fee and pass the whole papers to satisfy the college before graduate. The standard of the college shall not be lowered because of the failures of some students; rather students are advised to be studious in order to meet up the standard.

FEES: Our fees are too cheap, comparing with what others are charging, still with the poor or little impact they are making among their students. Nevertheless, there may be other fees not written which may come in as the need arises, but these are the major ones.

We do not charge too much but always in sympathy with our students, considering their conditions and the economic situations in Nigeria presently. Students are often advised to clear their fees every trimester before going to another class, result of the students who are owing may not be released unless with reasonable excuses or acceptable permission from the school or the lecturer.

LECTURERS IN THE SCHOOL: Because of the standard of the academic we are pursuing, our lecturers are people from different universities in Nigeria and abroad. All our lecturers are with higher certificates raging from master’s degrees to doctorate degrees, from different field like Ph.D (Doctor of philosophy), Th.D (Doctor of Theology), D.D. (Doctor of Divinity) DRE (Doctor of Religious education and others with masters degrees from reputable and recognized universities and theological colleges. All our lectures are qualified to handle any course assigned to them and we aim at becoming the best not only in the state but also in Nigeria.

LIFE IN THE SCHOOL: Sin is permitted in the school. The people who claimed to have been called by God must be like Jesus. Therefore students are reminded that holiness is the key, for without which no eye shall see God Heb 12:14, Matt 5:8. Our lives shall be the epitome of holiness, sincerity, love and obedience. Foolish talks, mockery, rough appearances, seductive appearance, lying, hypocrisy, enmity and fighting are not allowed among the people of God. If anyone is discovered to be a sinner, demon agent or a seducer, such one will prayed for and be led to Christ but where every Biblical effort fails, such person will be sent out of the college. The college is purely built on the ground of holiness, love and truth and anyone coming must observe all.
STUDY TIME: The school starts on Tuesday by 8am with songs and choruses, after which a sermon will be delivered by an appointed person. The chapel service will end by 9am, then the class works begin immediately. Any person coming by 8.30am is a later comer and every late comer will be assigned to do one work or the other as a result of his lateness or be fined accordingly. This is also applicable of the part time students on their own days and times of studies.

STUDENTS EXEMPLARY LIVES
As those who will convert souls, teach the church and lead others, students of our school shall be holy, obedient and sincere in every part of their lives. Students of our school are advised to study and to represent the school, both in open and secret places. Every student must allow the school Eltheco to pass through him or her as he or she has passed through the college. They must make their lives the living epistles, which their members will read and believe their preaching. They should be the true image of Jesus and the witnesses of what they are preaching by living exemplary lives in and outside the campus.

METHODS OF ADVERTISEMENT
Every student who has benefited from this college is an agent of the school advertising the school in his church, compound, business areas, among friends and everywhere. Every student is given not less than four handbills or advertising materials from the school to share to others, and this should be taken serious. Every student is expected to bring at least three students every trimester to the school.

MODES OF PAYMENT
Every cash paid in the school should accompany receipt issued by the receiver. Any cash payment without proper receipt is not considered as being paid hence student will at times produce their receipts at demand, especially during examinations.

LECTURERS AND STUDENTS RELATIONSHIP
The relationship between the lecturers and the students in the school should be the father and children relationship. The students are expected to respect, honour and love their lecturers, while the lectures, should respect themselves and extend the respect to the students, considering their condition. There should be rapport among them.

THURSDAY CHARISMATIC DAY
Every Thursday is our charismatic day. It is the day of practical ministry in the school. It is a practical day of prayers, deliverance and teaching of demonology, deliverance, and curses and breaking of curses, it is also the practical day of healing. The sick, the demon possessed, those afflicted or the troubled in heart will be invited for special prayers. Students are also asked to bring their clients on Thursday s for collective and cooperate prayers. No student should absent him or herself on Thursday. Any absence may affect the student’s results. Thursdays are special services and practical ministry in El Theological college. Our college is for both theoretical and practical and that’s why it is the best among all.

Each participation on Thursdays has some percentage on the total marks (scores) of the students which results to 20% out of the whole marks on Christian ministry, while the trimester class work are for students to develop or discover their gifts or ministries and practice the same, Thursday is the practical ministry which students are encouraged to invite believers and unbelievers who are troubled by demons, curses, sickness, anxiety, fear, disappointments, sins and other failures of life for special prayers of deliverance. The students on Thursdays are taught the practical deliverance and prayers and how to interview the clients. These and many other things make our college the best among others.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
WHAT WE BELIEVE…

As already have indicated in the early pages of this book in our Doctrinal Position we re-emphasize that following (that). The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative word of God. That there is one God, externally existent in three persons: God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Ghost. In the deity of our lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in His miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of father, and in his personal future to this earth in his power and glory to rule a thousand years.

In the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the church at Christ’s coming. That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. That regeneration by the Holy spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. That the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provide healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. That the baptism of the Holy spirit according to acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by in dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life in heaven and the other to everlasting damnation, in hell. We subscribe to what the Bible teaches about homosexual practices, that is sin, and that this should never be part of the life of a Christian. Our school will not offer ordination to a person partaking in any type of homosexual life style even if that person has graduated from one of our programs.

We subscribe to what the Bible teaches about murder, and therefore take position against abortion and support pro-life concepts. We believe that life begins at conception and life is a gift from God. Students in our study programmes are expected to conduct their lives in a manner, which is consistent with what the Bible teaches about right living and moral conduct. Violation of these required standards could result in suspension without possible graduation from our school.

THE PRESIDENT’S REPORT AND ADDRESS 2008

Lovely greetings, in Jesus name.
Today is another day that the lord has made; we shall rejoice and be glad in it. Today’s occasion is designed by God and confirmed by all of you present here today. We are here today to celebrate our yearly occasion of matriculation, graduation and special awards to some great citizens of Nigeria.

We are very happy with the state and federal government of Nigeria for their encouragement in the things of God and recognition of spiritual institution like ours, may God bless them in Jesus name.

El Theological college is born to spread the scriptural holiness, to equip the gospel ministers and to restore revival in the churches and to bring back the gospel ministers to where God wants them to be and to do all God wants them to do.

El Theological college has more courses that every other Bible college in the country with eight departments as shown below. Our diploma students take more than ninety (90) courses while our bachelor students take over (180) course before their graduation, this is not comparable with what are given by theological colleges in Nigeria.

THE BEGINNING OF THE ORGANIZED DEPARTMENTS IN OUR COLLEGE

We have eight departments in our college as may be shown below and each of these departments has more than eighty 980) courses attached to it. The courses are as follows: these are our recent and our permanent departments, though may be increased as days go by.

  1. Department of Biblical studies
  2. Department of Christian education
  3. Department of Christian ministry
  4. Department of Arts and Managerial studies
  5. Department of missions
  6. Department of philosophy
  7. Department of Religion and cultural studies
  8. Department of Theology

OUR VISION: Our vision and mission are to spread the true holiness, to equip the gospel ministers, to restore the lost glory of the church, to bring back the ark of the Lord that is taken by the Philisitines, to separate the wheat from the chaff, to restore spirituality among the clergy, to bring sanity in the church and to groom called men and women academically. We have as our task to make our students to be goal oriented ministers, planners and charismatic preachers. We aim at making the ministers be what God wants them to be. We make our students leaders, managers and church builders of our time.

    • OUR COURSES AND STUDENTS: Most of our courses are not seen in any Bible College in the country. We select most of the useful and relevant courses from accredited institutions to equip our students. Our students are holy, disciplined, charismatic, academic, and spiritual and goal oriented ministers as a result of what we are planting in them.
    • INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: We have students from Cameroon, Kenya, Ghana and Sierra Leone. We have nothing to share than the gospel and its strategies, our international students are the evidences of what we are doing, while our Nigerian students who are demanded by churches in Nigeria and beyond stand as our practical testimonies in this country and in the gospel ministry at large.
    • OUR LECTURERS: It is not exaggeration to call our lecturers scholars or authorities, because of their scholastic or initiative, teachings and other exhibitions in our college. Our students are the true testimonies of what our lecturers are doing. Our lecturers do not depend on what others have written but they depend on what they can produce in order to be qualified as the true lecturers in an institution like ours.
    • SPECIAL AWARDS TODAY: “Give honour to whom honour is due” is an ancient and general adage that is also Biblical. There are great citizens of this country whose contributions, efforts and supports have given birth to the growth of our states, our country, the church and survival of the humanity. These men and women deserve double honour, appreciation, thanks and special recommendation from every quarter. Based on these, we are going to give special doctorate degree awards to some of these great citizens of Nigeria today. We shall call them when it is time for that and I need your cooperation to give honour and respect to these great people of our beloved country.
    •   OUR NEEDS: There is no church, no family, no institutions or individual without needs. Our Bible College is one of those institutions with such needs. We are specifically pleading with every one of you on individual basis to check or think the very area you will contribute to make this Bible College grow. Greetings of love in Jesus name.
Today marks another great day in the history of our Bible College and I thank God you are here. We are here today to matriculate and graduate the students of El Theological College and those of International Institute of Missions Nigeria. We combined the programmes of these two Bible colleges because of similar purposes and relationships that exist between the two great Bible colleges.

El Theological College is established to train gospel ministers for effective gospel ministry. It has a task to correct the erroneous preaching that has marred the present day pulpits and the church at large. It has succeeded in building and equipping the students academically, charismatically and spiritually. The students can bear witnesses that El Theological College is the best, the greatest and the model for the theological education in Nigeria. The college belongs to God while we are only servants of God to do what he says.

International Institute of Missions in its target aims at restoring spirituality, spirit of missions and Biblical methods of evangelism. It has also succeeded in bringing the students to a mature and active positions in the ministry. International Institute of Missions is a practical Bible college that is born to restore the forgotten issues in the pulpit which were the major emphasis of Jesus and the apostles. These forgotten issues are the preaching and teaching on salvation from sin which contradict the false preaching on evil prophecies. It is preaching on the rapture to heaven which is different form Visa to travel to overseas, preaching about kingdom instead of empire on earth. International Institute of Missions is the Bible College of the day.

Our major aim is to make the students to capture their potentials, discover their divine assignments and score their ministerial goals. God has been helping us to achieve these and our present students are our witnesses in this matter. There is one thing I should boast of and this is the fact that our lectures through my indoor tutorship are the most academic lecturers in theological education in this part of the country.

About our growth, we started without any student, but today we have many students and many campuses in Nigeria and abroad. We have growing campuses in Abuja, Kaduna, Warri, Port Harcourt, Eberi Omuma, Yenagoa and Aba second campus. We are planning to reach Enugu, Umuahia, Owerri, Orlu and Uyo any moment from now.
We are really appealing to you to send your members, relations, friends and well wishers who are called to our Bible College if you want them to be more useful in Gods hand and to discover their God given assignments on earth. We shall groom them and help them to be true instruments in Gods vineyard.

We are not only training the students, we make them to be more reasonable and useful. As were already indicated in the early pages of this book, we have mission fields and plan to reach religious communities, we also care for the widows, train the children of helpless widows, care for the orphans and abandoned children, help the sick, the prisoners and the poor with foods, clothes and other needs. We are missionary oriented college, and we also have an orphanage known as the compassionate woman orphanage home Aba.

Our present vision is to send called men and women to rural dwellers for mission works, to muslim communities and to unchurched areas of this world. You can help in sending some of these missionaries to do God’s work where there are no churches. We have decided to train poor ministers free of charge who are called but have no money to train themselves, you can be an instrument to sponsor such indigent students to fulfill their divine assignments.

Our international outreach covers many countries of West Africa where we have students. This Bible college has trained and is still training students from Kenya, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Cameroon. Our input is our witness, while you are our co-labourer in this gospel ministry.

My appreciation goes to the tireless administrative council of this college, the governing council, the academic staff, our students and all of you that are here today. I must personally thank my wife Mrs. Zuriel Ononuju, my children, the rector and registrar, with the chairman of the governing council, may God bless you all in JESUS name.

I will not fail to let you know our needs and the areas I will want you to be involved in God’s work today. We need men and women who can help in acquiring land for God’s project, men and women who can support the project of purchasing building materials to build God’s house, we need those who will be touched to send missionaries to muslim communities and unchurched areas. We need those who can sponsor poor students to finish their courses in this theological college.

My eyes are open to see some of you who can volunteer to train some poor widows children in primary or secondary schools, who among you can take a responsibility of training some orphans and caring for them. We have an orphanage where motherless and helpless children are cared. These works of saving and caring for souls are our fathers business; we shall either be involved in persons or send our substitutes. Can you give cash or support us with any gospel equipment to do what God wants us to do? Can you donate gospel van or its substitute? Which area can you challenge God today?

How many widows can you help us feed in a month? Remember, the doer and the giver has equal rewards from God. I am sure God will never leave you unblessed if you care and support his works.

I am seriously appealing to you to see Gods work with us as a divine business, we are not advocating for the money that would make us rich but money that would make Gods work great and successful. I am praying for the blessings of God upon you as you give to God. May God take you safely to your different homes as you go in Jesus name.

THE PRESDIENT’S REPORT AND ADDRESS 2011

      Greetings in Jesus name.
We have gathered again for another historic event in the existence of our Bible colleges, El Theological College and International Institute of Missions Nigeria.

Our main focus in this Mission is to equip the ministers who will equip the saints and God has been helping us to achieve this both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.

El Theological College is the most academic, most charismatic and the best Bible College in Nigeria with more than two thousand six hundred courses in twelve departments, while International Institute of Missions is the most visionary, most missionary and most spiritual Bible college in Nigeria with more than nine hundred and eighty courses in seven departments. We produce serious and mindful ministers who hate nothing but sin and focus nothing but heaven.

It is rightly said, that a course not worthy to die for, is not also worthy to live for. These colleges have made great impact in the world and have expanded to many parts of the world with campuses in Republic of Cameroon, in other states of Nigeria such as Abia, Kaduna, Abuja, Delta, Bayelsa, River State and planning to reach Imo and Akwa Ibom soonest.

We use this short address to appeal to you to support these colleges that mind God and his business and also direct your called men and women to us, while we shall groom them to your test.

Thank you and God bless you.

Rev. Emma Ononuju Ph.D DRE, DD, PhD.
      (President and founder).

THE PRESIDENTS REPORT AND ADDRESS 2012

El Theological College was established ten years ago, while international institute of mission was established four years ago. In these short times great achievements have been made and all our initial goals have been achieved while the purpose of our existence has been registered and focused.

We run holiness Bible colleges with emphasis on heart purity, still with great ministry, spiritual life, academic excellence and success in ministerial targets. We are focused and not easily moved with demonic breeze, social corruption or the growth and fake advancements of different theological institutions in our days that produce preachers whose heads are touched without any impact to their hearts.

We are specifically called to train men and women who will turn sinners to righteousness, loose demon bound citizens and convert the wicked to the path way of eternity in heaven. Our students are holy, spiritual, careful, righteous and are still mindful of what the present age holds for the religious world. We groom students who are theologically high, academically rich, spiritually deep, charismatically great and ministerially successful.

Our lecturers are proven authorities in the field of education. They are spiritual men and women, bold in expression and sound in reasoning. I am very proud of them and always appreciate them.

El Theological College has many extension campuses in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa.

Our college serves as the grooming centre and the base for re-training and re-grooming of church leaders, founder of Theological institutions and leader of leaders.

We have extended our ministries to other countries of Africa. We have admitted and trained students from Republic of Kenya, Uganda, Republic of Cameroon, Sierra Lone and some students from Liberia, thus, we stand as an international Bible College in West Africa.

Our Bible colleges are very famous and have received positive recommendations from within and outside, to the extent that there are calls from different cities and nations to establish our Bible college in such areas. We have calls from Umuahia, Lagos, Uyo, Owerri, Orlu, Enugu, Lokoja, Benin Republic and calls from Ghana.

We are heavenly conscious Bible college and focused in kingdom building instead of empire building that projects man and his ego. Our target and purpose are to promote and to project “He who died on the cross” and to influence men and women who shall know JESUS and make Him known.

We appeal to pastors, church leaders and called men and women here to bring their untrained ministers to us for academic, theological, charismatic, and spiritual and the best Bible based training with sound and uncompromised truth.

International Institute of Missions has declared scholarship (tuition fee) studies for lay workers in the churches who want to be equipped in order to serve their churches better in the areas of their interest; you are therefore to enroll today.

The works committed in our hands are many and we cannot do all alone without your support. We are therefore appealing to you to support this God’s project with us. Remember, God will not ask you, what you did in your church but what you did for him. Avoid all denominational traps and tribal sentiments in doing God’s work. Remember, your support to our college is a great support to God and to many denominations in Nigeria because of many students from different tribes in our school.

We need larger land, gospel equipment, school buses, band set, building, cash for gospel purchases or cash to support some poor students who cannot pay their fees. God called these poor students because of the rich Christians, why not train some of them. Remember, a giver never lack and a lacker never give. I am praying for you and for all around you.

I cannot finish this address without thanking and appreciating my wife, Rev Dr (Mrs.) Alzuriel Ononuju, my co-labourer in the gospel ministry who has always been on my side in the ministry. She is the president and the founder of compassionate women orphanage Home Aba. My thanks also go to the chairman of the governing council, members of the admin. Council, the teaching staff and all the students of El Theological College and those of International Institute of Missions, may God bless you all in Jesus name.

Brethren, your presence here today is not an accident, there is purpose and I believe such purpose shall be achieved as Holy ghost shall whisper to your heart. I wish you safe journey, that God who brought you here safely, shall take you back to your destination safely after this occasion in Jesus name
Watch the sky for “He cometh soon”.

THE ADDRESS OF THE COORDINATOR 2013

      Greetings in Jesus name.
Calvary greetings of love to you all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. My greatest appreciation goes to the Almighty God for sustaining us in the land of the living, even to have gathered us here today in this unique and epoch making event.

El Theological College Nigeria is an organization and academic institution which combines secular and sacred courses from both Biblical, theological and biographical studies having up to thirteen (13) different departments with over 1600 courses. This truth is based on the academic level of the vision bearer who is academic guru, who has the opportunities of lecturing in both secular and sacred institutions. God has so much equipped him to have both the divine and natural abilities to function and accelerate to such zenith and heights in the creation of those courses.

It is therefore of no exaggeration to say that El Theological College is the most academic Bible college, most spiritual and most charismatic Bible college in the country and has the highest number of courses in Nigeria. Our students are most academic, most charismatic, most spiritual and the holiest students in Nigeria.

      LECTURERS IN EL THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE
Our lecturers are all authorities and scholars who are epitome of education. There are ever concurrent and initiative in their scholastic endeavours carrying their students along with their teachings, making great impacts and transformation that they stand as professionals and creators. They do not depend on other peoples materials to teach but depend on researches that are bounded with their knowledge. Your contact with any of our students will put testimonies clearer to your confirmation.

      LIFE IN THE CAMPUS
El Theological College is deepest in spirituality and holiness in practice. Our lecturers stand as missionaries of life and character of Jesus Christ in carrying the students along.

This has given rooms to the establishment of strong disciplinary body in the school known as the judiciary, whose assignment is to check and balance the students lives and characters on their moral activities, based on the Holy Bible. As our college is a Holiness Bible college, our students are always reminded that holiness is the foremost principle for the kingdom of God, whom we are representatives of. Our lives are the epitome of holiness, love, obedience and truth as we see in Christ Jesus.

Our campus life is forbidden of foul talks, foolish and seductive appearances, hypocritical and arrogant lives, and other unfriendly characters. We preach and practice Holiness in our Bible college. Our lecturers and students represent the true image of Jesus Christ, living epistles and exemplary lives of what we preach and teach in our Bible college. As a holiness Bible college, truth and love are majored and the image of God is represented.

OUR APPEAL: On behalf of this great institution, I appeal to you to support El Theological college by giving or donation either cash, land, house, equipment, motor or anything that God may lay in your heart to support us. I know many people here today will donate cash, houses, lands or even cars to our college today as we have made our needs known to you. We shall soon embark on the development of our new site in Aba. We need zinc, cement, building materials and other things that can help us actualize this big project of God.

May the great God bless and keep you as you go back to your various homes.

      Thanks.

      Dr. Jonathan Ifenna
      Coordinator Eltheco Nigeria.

We sincerely need your prayer, supports and advice in order to march ahead. The load is too heavy but our God is the burden bearer. It has not been easy but with God all things are possible.

I thank God so much for making us to see another convocation of our beloved Bible college. May all glory, thanks, honour and exaltation be given to His holy name. My sincere thanks also go to my wife Dr. Mrs. Alice Zuriel, to my children, to national coordinator of El Theological College, the rector, registrar, dean of studies, the chaplain, dean of students life and staff and students of El Theological college whose support, prayers and contributions have given birth to all we are enjoying today. May the Almighty God bless, keep and protect all of them in Jesus name. I cannot fold this address without thanking the chairman of the governing council Dr. S.M.C Maduagwu and the chairman of today’s occasion Dr. Ben Oziegbe, be blessed. I use this period to address our students in this holiness Bible college. “You are graduating to represent the Lord, El Theological College and the entire Christian community.

You should not be lawless, sinful, neither should you join bad groups, false teachers and false prophets who have destroyed and polluted our society. You should not deviate from the holiness background, neither should you join the prosperity preachers that never prospered or join occult groups that have filled many churches today, but you should focus the cross, the Calvary where God offered His only son. To the matriculating students, I say, be serious and zealous in all your ministerial activities under the sun.
Take your studies and other academic works very serious and never be a tool to discourage others. Don’t be in haste, neither think of following the shortest route and never desire to get all degrees in one year as they are now offered in some theological colleges in Aba. Be obedient, patient and studious with all diligence. You are admitted to be transformed, well groomed, properly trained and by faith you get all these, don’t quit because quitters never win and winners never quit. You are admitted to be re-directed back to Calvary where God offered his only son for you, therefore read and watch.

To our audience here today, I thank God for your presence here. I know there is a divine purpose for your coming today, therefore don’t allow such divine purpose to be a waste because you may not easily capture it again, some of you are here today specifically to support this Bible college, some to be partners to this Bible college, some to give great values others to build El Theological college, while others are here to fulfill their divine assignments, although unknown to them. I also know that some are here to answer their divine call to be gospel ministers. Whatever and which area God may speak to you, don’t resist such spirit. The highest command in New Testament was seen in Jn. 2:5 whatever He says to you do it. If you are a called man or woman indicate today, as we shall train you and shall enlist your name in our partial scholarship programme through which you can pay only reduced fees and other issues. I am sure God has gospel supporters, ministry builder, gospel partners, ministry sponsors, called men and women here today, stop hiding, avail yourself today, our God shall bless you as I will appoint a man of God today through my prophetic utterance to pray for you as you avail yourself by obeying His voice in your heart.

Our school will resume on 28th May, 2013, if you are called, we shall give you a card to fill and return the same to us immediately and visit our campus before school resumes. If God has touched you to be our sponsor, supporter or partner in ministry, come to our college campus. I am optimistic that God wants to do something with some people here today, don’t resist the Holy Ghost as He whispers to you.

We are running a close partnership with churches, many church leaders, pastors and overseers have received our letter in such partnership with churches. If you have not receive any letter and desires one, please indicate or come to our office for a special letter that is fully addressed to you. Be our partner by sending your called men and women, church workers and all who want to be more useful in God’s business to our college.
About our international connections, El Theological college is affiliated with a four accredited institutions and such affiliations are still intact and current. We have also trained some international students from Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana and Cameroon and currently planning to extend our programme to other parts of Africa.

We have presently mapped out our programme on Friday s for the specific training of the students according to their specific calling in the five fold ministries of the New Testament. In this program, a called apostle shall be in apostolic class, prophet to prophetic class, the called pastor to pastoral class and all called teachers to tutorial class. This programme holds once every week and never been seen in any other Bible college around. It is our strategy to specialized called men and women according to their ministries.

Our Wednesday chapel services shall henceforth be a practical ministry to the students from where they learn all about true deliverance, biblical prayers, Christian ministries, worship and all ingredient that make ministers what they should be based on the Bible truth. It shall be a great means to develop the students charisma, enlarge their unction, supervise their ministries and project their visions for the growth of their ministries.

We appeal to all of you to carry the testimonies of El Theological college to your churches, your neighborhood. Bring all your called men and women to our Bible college for the best result of your heart expectations in the ministry and in Christian input at large. We are co-labours with the church, therefore, the Bible college is yours.

I pray that the good Lord shall bless, keep, prosper and protect you in all your steps from now henceforth. May your visit and response to our invitation generate meaningful life to you, peace of God to you and the miracle of God in all your daily activities according to His divine plan. May God take you safely home as he brought you safely here in Jesus name I pray Amen.

      We need your helps

      We need your sponsorships
      We need your prayers
      We need your contributions

THE PRESIDENT’S REPORT AND ADDRESS 2016

Greetings of love and joy – in Jesus name. I thank God for making this year’s convocation a reality as we see it today. We are very happy that we are today in our own land, in our building and in our own permanent site. This year’s programme is a peculiar one because there are peculiar events. Though, crowded with crisis, but I see this year’s programme as the best and timely. God has always shown HIMSELF faithful in all things. We have been able to score some of our goals as stated below.

      1. PERMANENT SITE: We are today in our permanent site, in our own buildings; a dream that later come to pass. We have three more buildings to add in this land according to our building plans, while these two are still in progress, praise the Lord. Our school has already resumed here in our building.
      2. EL UNIVERSITY OF THEOLOGY AND BIBLICAL SEMINARY: We have currently established El University of Theology and Biblical Seminary which shall be among the institutions in this permanent site. It is a great institution and stands as the highest in Africa. While El Theological College has fifteen (15) departments with more than five thousand courses, El university of theology and Biblical seminary has nine (9) faculties and forty seven 9470 departments with up to eleven thousand (11,000) courses in show case with emphasis on heart purity.
      3. INTERNATIONAL CAMPUSES: Irrespective of God helping us to have many campuses in Nigeria, we also have students and campuses in Cameroon and Spain and very soon in Kenya. Our courses and programmes met international standards thus, other international institutions call on us.
      4. LECTURERS AND LECTURES: Our courses are highly academic which every scholar can vividly confirm to be scholastic. Our courses, though theological Biblical are not found in any other bible college unless obtained by tricks by irregular means. Our lecturers are equal to none, while our products are hot cakes that are seriously desired by other institutions.
      5. OUR STUDENTS AND STUDIOUSNESS: Our courses are those that can lead the students to be academic, charismatic, spiritual and studious. We give qualified courses that can equip the student in his future ministry. Our courses are for the building, equipping and grooming of the student. Our students should boast of becoming the best, the most spiritual, the most academic and the most charismatic students in the country.
      6. OUR STUDENTS AND STUDIOUSNESS: Our courses are those that can lead the students to be academic, charismatic, spiritual studious. We give qualified courses that can equip the student in his future ministry. Our courses are for the building, equipping and grooming of the student. Our students should boast of becoming the best, the most spiritual, the most academic and the most charismatic students in the country.
      7. BAD ROADS IN ABA: The greatest hindrance to our growth and success is the bad roads in Aba which cannot be penetrated during wet seasons, but thank God and highly appreciated our students and lecturers  who continue coming to our school irrespective of such ugly situation; may God bless you all – in Jesus name.
      8. ECONOMIC CRISIS: There is economic crisis in the nation and this has affected every business in the country, but it seems the bad roads in Aba have increased such tension in Aba, that everything is stagnant. I therefore encourage our students to keep on coming, because life without test has no testimony, while winners do not quit, and quitters do not win. It is not an easy battle to kill a giant, neither shall Goliath be killed by the weak and fainted Israelites; but by the courageous, bold and steadfast David alone. Students, I challenge you, take your stand and make sure you fulfill your assignment with God in this school.
      9. WORD TO OUR STUDENTS: I challenge you today as student, that you should allow the institutions to pass through you as you aim at passing through the institutions. Every institution organization has its own trade mark or peculiarity. Our peculiarity is Holiness unto the lord. Make sure you go with JESUS wherever you go. Whether you are matriculating or graduating, the mark of our institution is upon you; therefore make sure you give good representation to this school wherever you are and in whatever you are doing.
      10. MY APPRECIATION TO MY FELLOW BUILDERS: It is from the heart of my heart and with all sincerity that I want to appreciate the following instruments of God who have availed themselves to be used in building this institution. May the almighty God keep, bless, prosper, and protect them. God has used them in one way or the other to build and to support these projects as I listed them below.
      11. DR S.M.C MADUAGWU: He is the chairman of the governing council of our great institutions whose financial, moral and general contributions shall always be mentioned. He has contributed a lot and is still contributing to the growth and survival of our institutions. May the almighty God bless and protect him and his family. In Jesus name.
      12. DR. BEN OZIEGBE: He is the deputy chairman of the governing council, a great instrument in God’s hand, a builder and a man with great compassion, his contributions to the growth and development of these institutions are too great. He is a great financial supporter of all our projects. May the almighty God bless him and his family – Amen.
      13. DR. JONATHAN IFENNA: For his steadfastness, faith, sincerity and encouragement to me who never consider money, economy and excuses even when the going gets tougher, he has always stood on his word and in love. May God bless and keep him and family.
      14. DR. EVELYN OBI: For her great skill, administrative ability, courage and her steady support to the course of our institution, irrespective of all pains and national crisis, she continues her vision in El Theological institutions without  excuses. May the almighty God keep and bless her everyday because her heart desire is on survival and growth of this institution.
      15. DR. JOSEPH CHIGBU: For his faith and faithfulness, especially in tough time, who continues his fellowship and friendship with me, even when there are many discouraging elements and events around him; he neglected very thing and focused on building and in supporting our institutions. His prayers worth much to me. May God keep and bless him Jesus name.
      16. EVANG. ANTHONIA EDET: For her diligence, straightforwardness and love for our institutions. She never considers her condition but focuses on building our institutions which she considers a God’s works and never relaxed to see the schools fail, but always in the classrooms. May God bless her and grant her all her heart desires.
      17. AMB. EMMA FRED: For his immediate response when the enemy struck the school. His steadiness has occupied many vacuums which helped the institution to be going on. May God bless him.
      18. DR. ALICE ZURIEL ONONUJU: For her financial supports, moral supports, prayers and her daily advice, encouragement and partnership in my suffering, pains and labours. She contributed much in what we are seeing today as El Theological College, El university of Theology and International Institute of Missions; the adage says “behind every successful man, there is a wise and reasonable woman. This is true. I say may the almighty God bless and keep her.
      19. MY CHILDREN: Adiel, Uriel, Ammiel and Eliel for their patience and support in prayers. They have so endured with me on my tight schedules and frequent absence in the family. I have often robbed them their rights, moreover in paying their tuition fees when due because of other monetary demands and financial involvements in El Theological College which have drained my purse, but to the glory of God we are still winning. May God bless and keep them in Jesus name.
      20. REV. ISAAC OKECHI: For his immediate response when there was leakage and when issues looked obscure, may the Almighty God bless him.
      21. EVANG. BLESSING EZENWOKE: For her great passion and love which manifested exactly when they were needed, may God bless and keep her and family.
      22. REV. CHIKA GODFREY: For his determination, diligence, availability, capability and prompt action when they were needed. He stands as a son of consolation to me after the death of DR. AKUNEBU. May the Almighty God keep and bless him. He is a diligent warrior of no compassion when it comes to field labour. He is a man of trust and faithfulness.
      23. EVANG. DIVINE OBASI: For his prompt action, immediate intervention, powerful challenges and wise steps when the music seemed to be too slow. May Almighty God keep and bless him.
      24. OUR STUDENTS: For their steady followership, fellowship and their love for our institution which made them to continue associating and belonging to our institution irrespective of bad roads, slippery streets, economic crisis, coupled with negative voices; still they continue following just like Ruth followed Naomi. I want to assure you that in the right direction and after all, you must surely reap the best fruits of your labour. I wish you blessings and success in life and in ministries.
      25. DEATH OF DR. CYPRIAN AKUNEBU: The death of Dr. Akunebu was the greatest tragedy in El Theological college in 2015. Dr. Akunebu died on 6th September and was buried on 16th October 2015 at his home town Awa in Oguta L.G.A of Imo State. He was the dean of studies, director of business and the personal assistant to the president and founder of El Theological College, Prof Emma Ononuju. His death created a great vacuum in the entire system, but God of all knowledge replaced him and filled the vacuum with another diligent and intelligent staff. May the name of the Lord be blessed. Akunebu was very intelligent, diligent and obedient. I missed him, but God knows the best.
