The courses in the department of  Christian Education, are courses that are mapped out to equip, educate and to groom the students on the life, doctrine, activities and issues necessary to understand by the Christian in community

3.              COURSES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

CRE  0001.   HISTORY OF CIVILIZATION:

This course traces how civilization started, beginning with the ancient civilization of Egypt. Much emphasis will be laid on the modern civilization brought by the church since AD 100 till date. The schools, the hospitals, church organizations and the contributions of Christianity to the present civilization will also be focused. This course will help the student to be well brushed.

 

CRE  0002.   HISTORY OF AFRICAN NATIONS
This course treats all about the nations of Africa and the effects of Christianity in each of the nations. The major religions of each nation of Africa will be examined and evaluated. The purpose of this course is on the African world and plan for solutions to evangelize them. This course will help the student to be missionary motivated and inspired.

 

CRE  0003.   HISTORY OF EDUCATION IN WEST AFRICA
This course treats how western education reached the West Africa community and the impact made by the western education in West Africa. The main purpose of this course is to motivate the student to value the great treasure in our present education. This course will help the student to be fully acquired.

 

CRE  0004.   HISTORY OF EDUCATION IN NIGERIA
This course traces the origin of education in Nigeria and all the benefits of western education to the present day Nigerians schools, hospitals, churches and universities as parts of today’s educational benefits will be reviewed. This course will help the student to be academic conscious and serious everyday.

 

CRE  0005    PRE HISTORIC AFRICAN EDUCATION
This very course traces the pre historic ancient and traditional educations in Africa before the western civilization and education. The ancient African trades, meetings, marriages, buildings, family training, kingships, organizations and intertribal relationships shall be focused to give meanings to this course. This course will help the student to see education as natural and internal to man.

CRE  0006.   TRADITIONAL HEBREW EDUCATION,
This course treats the Hebrew traditional education which started with Abraham “tell it to your sons and to your sons” sons when your sons shall ask you what meaneth these”. The religious education in Israel is the major focus in course. The lawgiver, the war commanders, the judges, priests, kings, elders, prophets and the scribes in Israel will be looked into. The educational duties of the scribes and kings and priests shall be looked into. This course will help the students to know the Bible education.

CRE  0007.   INTRODUCTION TO BIBLE EDUCATION
Babylonian and Hebrew educations as were revealed in the Bible and by history. The ancient Greek philosophy and other related ideas of education should be of great importance. The letters of old, writings and other signs that revealed education shall be captured. This course will help the student to see education as an old investment in the world.

CRE   0008.  EDUCATION IN AFRICA,
This course excavated the origin of both traditional and western education in Africa with emphasis on their impact to the present day Africans. The relationship between such educations and Christianity will also be considered as major factor. This course will help the student to be academically mature and be very nurtured.

 

CRE  0009.   EDUCATION AND GREEK PHILOSOPHY
This course treats the origin, activities and all teachings of the Greek philosophers with the aim to share the benefits, which the present world of education derived from such early philosophies. The primary focus of this course is to help the student understand the benefits, which our people gained from the Greek philosophers’ thoughts. This course will help the student to know  and to draw conclusion, and  know how to create ideas.

 

CRE  0010.         MISSIONARY EDUCATION
This course is different from Christian education, while Christian education talks about how to teach the insiders, win souls and educate the church, this course talks about how the church can still educate the world of darkness. The church education majors and  treats the education, salvation, civilization and progress brought by the church and future ones the church can bring to change the world. The student will learn how to effect changes with education in this world.

CRE  0011.   HISTORY OF CHURCH IN AFRICA
This course gives the light on how the church came to the Africa and the impacts made by the early workers of the gospel. The aim of this course is to show the early reception of the Africans to the gospel. The student will be motivated to regain the lost ground after this course.

CRE  0012.   CHRISTIANITY IN WEST AFRICA
This course unveils how Christianity came to the West African coast with major emphasis on Nigeria. This course aims at educating the student to be well acquaint with how the gospel came to our fathers in West Africa. This course will change the student to preserve that which were handed ever to our fathers and that which were also committed to our charge.

 

CRE  0013.   PHILOLOGY
This course has to do with the languages, cultures, religions’ peoples and atmospheres that received, preserved and spread the gospel. Emphasis shall be laid on Hebrew, Greek and Latin languages, cultures and peoples. This course will help the student to keep and transfer the gospel to the next generation to come.

CRE  0014.   INTRODUCTION TO ANCIENT WORLD EDUCATION,
This courses traces the impact of education in Egypt, in Babylon, in Palestinian world, in Romans and in the ancient Greek world. This course is in equal class with pre-historic education. Emphasis shall be laid on the laws of Hamurabi, Pharaoh’s code of conducts, Nebuchadnezzar’s laws and kings and kingdoms of the old and their commandments.

CRE  0015.   AFRICAN TRADITIONAL EDUCATION 
This course is on the traditional training in African concept, which is still going on today in different nations in Africa. Emphasis shall be laid on discipleship in Igbo land, in Ibibio and Yoruba methods of training. This course has to do with the methods of training, discipleship, conducts and how to build moral character in African traditional education. This course will help the student to be more disciplined.

CRE   0016.  SUNDAY SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN THE CHURCH
This course is all about the management of the cash, members, visitor’s activities and all records of the Sunday school in our churches. Students will learn how to organize and conduct all about Sunday school in the local church level. This course will help the student to cause church growth through his local church Sunday school programme.

 

CRE  0017.   EXEGESIS OF SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISERIES 
This course is different from Sunday school management, it is all about Sunday school history, evangelism through Sunday school department, enlargement campaign of Sunday school, visions of Sunday school department and out-reach ministries, of the Sunday school in the church. This course will make the student to use Sunday department as an organ of evangelism in the church.

 

CRE  0018.   CHRISTIAN EDUCATION 1
This course has to do with the growth and development of man, the problems of the children, the problems of the youths, the problems of the junior adults and the problems of the senior adults and how best to communicate the gospel to them at their receptive times and ages. This course will help the student to know how to manage and lead his church.

 

CRE  0019.   CHRISTIAN EDUCATION 11
This course has to do with the physical and spiritual constitutions of man as was revealed by the Bible. It also teaches why and when man is sensitive and resistant to the gospel. It is the over view of the spiritual and physical elements in man that has made him receive and reject the truth.

CRE  0020.   CHRISTIAN EDUCATION 111
This is a course teaching on the spiritual, social, physical, physiological and material needs of man, how such problems come, the condition of man is heart, when all or one of such problems is around, the cure to such problems and the Biblical advice to restore man in his right mind. This course will unveil how to Communicate the gospel to such man in any of these problems. This course will help the students to know how to take care of his troubled members in the church

CRE  0021.   CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IV
This course is all about the two environments of man, the world and the church and how man can possibly live in the two, the daily activities of man and how can man live in this sinful world. This course will differentiate the nature of man, the life in the world and the life in the church and conclude all with the destiny of man if he
abides in God’s word. This course will help the students to know the blessings in obeying God.

CRE  0022.   PSYCHOLOGY OF CHILD  DEVELOPMENT
This course has to do with how to train the children with the word of God, all about children Sunday school, children church, salvation of children and its evidences and how to educate the children with God’s word at their early ages. Its primary purpose is to indoctrinate children with God’s word. This course will help the student to understand how to handles children in the church at their early stage.

CRE  0023.   GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING
This is an educational course which majors on guidance and how to shape the idea, thought and the mind of the client, especially when in crisis or life conflict. It has to do with the leadership of the mind and the control of wrong feelings, bad behaviour, fear or tension. The student will learn how to control crisis, tension and life conflicts of their clients.

CRE  0024.   INTRO TO DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPY
This is the course that treats on how to develop the client and the process of developments beginning with the infants to the age of seventy (70). Each period of life between 1-6, between 7-12, between 13-19, 20-25 and so on and so forth till the age of 70 years has a particular experience and developmental process in life. The student will learn how to counsel, teach and coordinate with people of different age circles and age differences in life. The student will learn how to train Christian adherents.

CRE  0025.   DISCIPLINE AND PUBLIC BEHAVIOUR
Discipline and public behaviour is a course meant to help the student to understand moral conduct, get the life, disciplined life, training ethics, public behaviour including public activities. The course will help the student to be disciplined and also help him to produce disciplined members from his or her church. This course will help the student to be a good disciplinarian as a gospel minister in Nigeria and in Africa.

CRE  0026.   PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
This has to do with the purpose, culture and the reason for education. It is why, how, when and methods of education. Emphasis will be laid on Christian education and benefits on information and academic training. The student will be helped to understand the need and importance of education and how to plan for education programmes and curriculum.

CRE  0027.   PSYCHOLOGY OF EDUCATION
This course is different from the secular idea or secular sense of education. The psychology of education simply expresses what education is all about, the thoughts to be registered in education, the main purpose and objectives of education. This is different from philosophy of education. This course is life.

CRE  0028.   PHILOSOPHY OF LEARNING
This course has to do with learning ethics and learning methodology. It is all about learning. How to study, how to learn, environment of learning, and the purpose of learning, benefits of learning and how to impart knowledge into the learner. The student will be blessed with the power to communicate ideas to the learners. This course will make the student a great teacher.
CRE  0029.   WESELYAN CHURCH EDUCATION
This course has to do with three areas of education in the church in order to achieve heart purity. The idea is on how to coordinate, how plan, how to teach, the materials to teach, the purpose of teaching and the philosophy of teaching (a) Sunday school in the church (b) Bible studies in the church (c) house fellowship of the church. These three institutions need education and all we are doing is to bring the student to the sound Biblical reasoning through these three areas of church education. The student will learn good coordination, needed materials and how to teach in Sunday schools Bible studies and house fellowships and how to use these three institutions to cause church growth and revival.

CRE  0030.   CRAFT OF TEACHING
This course teaches all about the teaching ethics, teaching technology, mode of teaching, arts of teaching, purpose of teaching and how to teach effectively as a pastor, teacher, apostle or as a prophet of God. It goes deeper to teach on how to produce teachers and talented men and women who will be involved in teachinghabits. The students will be blessed with the craft or secrets of effective teaching as the gospel ministers.

CRE  0031.   PRINCIPLES OF BIBLE STUDIES
This is how to study the Bible, the mood of understanding the Bible, when,           where and why study the Bible. The student will be helped on how to achieve private devotion, family devotion, church devotion, public devotion or how to use the Bible to solve our problems. Bible quotations leading or relating to daily problems and what the scripture says about our needs, problems and situation will be of great help to use God’s word to solve their problems. The interpretations of the Old Testament scriptures that are fulfilled in the New Testament will also be compared and be explained in detail.

 

CRE  0032.   HISTORY OF SUNDAY SCHOOL
This course traces how Sunday school started, the founder of the Sunday school, the origin and the year it started. The benefits of Sunday school and the contributions of Sunday school to the growth of the church will be traced and be reviewed. It is different from the Sunday school management and Sunday school ministries in the church. This course creates vision to student and challenges them to face ministerial task before them. The student will learn how to carry on their visions after this course

CRE  .0033.  HISTORY OF HOUSE FELLOWSHIP
This course traces the origin of house fellowship, the originator of house fellowship in this age, the year it started and the benefits and contributions through the house fellowship. The course will unveil how house fellowship has helped to spread the gospel. This course is different from the management of house fellowship. The course will help the student to stick at his God given vision and use that to score his goals in the ministry.

 

CRE  0034.   THE MANAGEMENT OF HOUSE FELLOWSHIP
This course start by referring to what the Bible teaches about the early churches in the homes, the church in thy house”. This course has to do with “how the house fellowships should be organized, coordinated, managed and directed in order to
produce tangible results and enviable fruits to the glory of God our father. It helps the student  to understand how wonderfully the house fellowship can be a serious means of church growth, stability and church progress in our days.

 

CRE 0035.    CHRISTIAN ETHICS
This course is an educative course unveiling the mode and mood of Christian conducts. It is different from ministerial ethics which is very peculiar to ministers but this  is for all believers in general. It teaches what to do, how to do it, when to do some thing and how best to behave in a public or private function. The duties of Christians, cultures and customs of the church will be reviewed and be visited. The student will be helped to know what to do and how to do all at any given occasion.

CRE  0036.   BOOK REVIEWING ETHICS
This course is peculiar and treats how to possess the habit of reading, writing and studying books, journals, articles and other helpful write ups. The student will be exposed to reading at least one chapter which should not be less than four pages everyday. What the student derived and what he also researched will be majored. Weekly or monthly reports from the student will be expected, students will be authors and authorities after this course.
CRE  0037.   GRAPHOLOGY
This course has to do with writing ethics, it has to do with how to write, what to write and how to make outlines, handouts, sermon topics, Bible study lessons, teaching materials and how to write our proposed ideas for teaching our churches. Nevertheless, brief introduction of reading ethics will be emphasized and unveiled as well. This course is otherwise called writing and reading ethics in the church. The student will be helped to be a good composer and a good documenter in his ministry.

CRE  0038.   PODIUMOLOGY
This course is different from communication and different from public speaking. It is all about “how to speak or how to teach. This is other-wise called speaking ethics. It tells how to preach, teach or communicate to the audience according to the programme at hand. Examples of this are preaching about marriage, family, home or couple’s  life  when invited to preach at wedding and not preaching on tithing or soul winning. Another example, preaching on finance, giving, sowing, harvest or liberal heart when invited for fund raising and not preaching on holiness. It is preaching on the need for training, education, Christian ministry or missions when invited for Bible college graduation. The course is what the man at podium must say according to the occasion he was called or invited to speak. It does further unveil his attire, appearance, life, spirituality, what to do and what not to do at the pulpit  (the podium).

CRE  0039.   BIBLE GEOGRAPHY
This course is the geography of the holy land. It draws its map from the major events of the Bible. The old and New Testament worlds shall be majored to help the student understand the Bible world. Names of cities, rivers, hills, mountains, important individuals and areas of great event shall be majored. This is also called the holy land studies and must definitely help the student to understand the areas of events in the Bible and how things were done also.

CRE  0040.   PASTORAL COUNSELLING
This is one of the greatest tasks of Christian education. This course has to do with the issue of bringing the troubled heart to his right mind and to his normal self. Until a man comes to his right mind, he is not yet complete and any incomplete person needs counseling. It has to do with how to bring the following affected individuals and victims to their right mind; the sick, the fearful, the neurotic, the drug addicted, the possessed, the infected,  the sinner, the abused, the lonely, the bereaved, the poor, the less privileged, the occultist, the epileptic, the stroke, the psychiatric, the homeless, the orphan and others with one psychological problem or the other to their normal reasoning.

CRE  0041.   BIBLE CRITICISM
This is a course which deals on educative subject of what the non-Christian organization said about the Bible, their accusations, criticisms, rejections and argument on the truth and the major issues on the table. The following matters and issues will be discussed:

a.         What the Islams say about the Bible.
b.         What the Hindus say about the Bible.
c.         What the ancient heathen say about Hebrew God.
d.         What the watch towers say about Christians.
e.         What the present heathens say about the Bible.
f.          What did the sinful world say about the Bible?
g.         The testimony of the Bible about the itself.

This course will help the student to trust the Bible.

 

CRE  0042.   INTRODUCTION TO VOCABULARY BUILDING
This course speaks about four areas of vocabulary and how to acquire them, it talks about:

a.         Hearing vocabulary which treats the hearing and understanding of what others are saying.
b.         Speaking vocabulary, which treats how to speak to people and how to make meaningful suggestion through speaking.
c.         Writing vocabulary, which seems to be the highest and deals on how to express ideas, thoughts and issues through writing?
d.         Reading vocabularies which treats how to read what others have written and have equal understanding with the author.
The students through this course will be helped to be an academic and qualified Christian authority. The student after this course will conquer fear, shyness, inferiority complex and shivering while sitting with learned men in the society.

CRE  0043.   BIBLE PSYCHOLOGY
This course has to do with the behaviours, temperaments and attitudes of the Bible heroes. Emphasis will be laid on the five basic temperaments of man and to compare such with the temperaments of man and to compare such with the temperaments of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob Moses, David, Peter, Paul and others at our reach. It has also to do with the behaviour of the Bible heroes, their fears, failures, courage, victory and stands in certain given conditions. The students will
learn how to conquer his weakness through heart purity and the Holy Ghost power.

CRE  0044.   CLASSICAL EDUCATION 1
Classical education 1 is the Biblical methods to bring children of between the ages of 6 and 12 to Christian reasoning, Christian life and to full salvation in Christ. This is an educational course that deals with the life behaviour, and reasoning of children of such age range. It is a full psychological teaching that will bring such children to Christ. The student will learn how to convert the children to Christ and build them with the word of God. This course will make the student to have regards for children.

 

CRE  0045.   CLASSICAL EDUCATION 11
Classical education 11 is the Biblical methods to bring the youths of between the ages of 13 and 20 to Christian faith, Christian life and maturity. This is an educational course that reveals the weakness, failures, reasoning and ambitions of the youths. This course will treat the problems of junior youth of 14 to 19 years and that of the older youths of 20to 30 or 35 years of age. This course will help the student to understand the youths and use their zeal to build his church. This course will make the student the custodian of educational knowledge.

CRE  0046.   CLASSICAL EDUCATION 111
Classical education 111 is the Biblical methods to bring the average ladies, adult women, mothers and female adults of marriage age and motherhood into knowledge. This is an extension of women ministry in education form. This course treats all about women weakness, reasoning, problems, anxiety, temperament and things they face in their marriage and homes. It gives insight on how to solve such problems and bring women to normal Christian reasoning and maturity. This course will help the student to be a model for Christian leadership. The student will derive the power in gender leadership.

 

CRE  0047.   CLASSICAL EDUCATION IV
Classical education IV is on academic course which uses Biblical methods to bring adult and average male members to Christian reasoning, Christian life and maturity. This course unveils the weaknesses of men, family problems on their neck, life struggles, fears and all inadequacies of men and produces Biblical answers on how to solve the problems. The student will learn how to lead, coordinate and go along with his men in his church. This is the extension of men’s fellowship in academic plat-form. The student will be a Bible moulded director in the church after passing through this course.

CRE  0048.   SCRIPTURAL SCHOLASTICISM 1 MATTHEW -REVELATION
This is what was known as Bible College before and the real Bible College started with this course at the first century AD. This course has to do with full studies of persons, places and events in the Bible and report the same in writing when needed. Scriptural scholasticism 1 is to study from the books of Matthew down to the revelations and bring out characters, events, places or words that play major role and write them out as a project as may be demanded by the instructor. This course must have its own handout but the main textbook is the Bible. While eachers teach with the handout students are expected to come with their Bibles. This course will make the student to be Bible authority.

CRE  0049.   SCRIPTURAL SCHOLASTICISM 11 (ISAIAH-MALACHI)
The scriptural scholasticism (ss11) is an educational Biblical course which studies the prophets, prophecies, people and places in the seventeen books of the prophets in our Bible. The student is mandated to study these books and search out issues, places, prophecies, people and events that played the key roles in the books and report the same in a different document, as may be demanded by the instructor. Although the course has its own handout, but the main textbook is the Bible. The student will be helped to be a Bible authority after this course and this course will make him great.

 

CRE  0050.   SCRIPTURAL SCHOLASTICISM  111 (1 SAM-  SONGS)
This is an academic course dealing on Biblical issues. It has to do with the people, places, matters, events, religions or those that played the key roles in the books of the Bible between 1 Samuel and songs of Solomon. The student is mandated to cover the books and report back to the lecturer when demanded. The course has its own handout but the Bible is the main textbook for the course. The student will be helped to understand the issues and things that constituted these part of the Bible and will also discover why some heroes failed and why others succeeded, while, their secrets will be known and taken. The student after this course will be expert in conflict management.

CRE 0051.    SCRIPTURAL SCHOLASTICISM  IV (GENESIS-  RUTH)    
The scriptural scholasticism IV is an academic course taken from the Bible knowledge and experiences from the books between Genesis and Ruth of the Old Testament. The student is mandated to read and cover these books and bring out the people, the places, rivers, hills, mountains and the events that played key roles in this part of the Bible. The course like every other course should go with handout but the original textbook is the Bible. This course will help the student to know how to take right decision and how to manage the church of God.

 

CRE  0052.   TEMPERAMENTAL STUDIES
This course has to do with the four basic temperaments, which are (a) sanguine (b) choleric (c) melancholy (d) phlegmatic. The positive and negative effects of our temperaments will be discoursed, how to detect them in our congregation and their peculiar approaches to our ministries shall be discussed. The attitude of each temperament shall be looked into. The Holy Ghost filled believer and his temperament and the unsaved persons and their temperament shall be looked into. The student will be helped to understand man as he continues in ministry.

CRE  0053.   INTRODUCTION TO BEHAVIORAL THEORIES
This course has to do with behaviors, actions, prompt words, prompt treatment and prompt response and all product of inner heart conditions and all psychological pains in man. The issue is “WHY DOES MAN DO WHAT HE DOES” why is this man behaving  this way? Or why did he do that? Every behavior has a cause and the very cause is the purpose of this lecture. This course will treat the causes of FEAR, ANXIETY, GUILT, ANGER, SUSPICION, DOUBT, MOTIVATION, WEAKNESS, SHAME, SHYNESS, INFERIORITY COMPLEX, BOLDNESS, AND COURAGE and other psychology course will help the student to know where-of others are passing through pains and the fields of others which will help him to know what to teach and preach in order to build his church.
CRE  0054.   PRINCIPLES OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT
This is a course dealing on how to develop all hidden skills, natural talents and spiritual gifts of the believer. It is on how a believer can develop his ability to achieve his life dreams. The issues of vision, goal setting, planning, zeal, motivation, diligence and all forms of divine inputs of man shall be studied as keys to self-development. This course will help the student to discover that he has all it takes to be what God says one should be. The student after this course will learn how to use what he has, where he stands and all at his reach to pursue all he needs in life.

 

CRE  0055.   DELUSIOLOGY
This is an academic approach to deal with accusations to Christian faith from other religious groups of the world, false teaching from false sects in Christianity and occultic practices from non-Christian organizations. This course fights against false teachings, false prophecies, false miracles, fake prophets, heresies and other documents presented by other religious groups what are they saying about the true teachings of Jesus and how to use our documents to counter their already circulated documents. The students will learn how to use documents to counter false document in circulation.

CRE  0056.   CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY
This is a course that treats people’s activities, beliefs, life, character, social value, language, trade, religion, behaviour, philosophy and all about people’s ideology. The major peoples are the Africans. Although we may also study the activities of some nations we read in our bible. This academic course will help the student to be  missionaries and church planters. This course will help the student to be an authority in missionary works and church planting ministry. The focus of this course is to help missionaries to know where to start and what to do when called to preach, live or work in a different culture, different tribe or in particular race.

 

CRE  0057.   SCHOLASTIC EVALUATION
This course is designed to build the reasoning and practices of the student. This course has to with reading habit which a particular book shall be recommended for the students to read, to cover all or to read from recommended for the portions of the book and report back from recommended for the portions of the book and report back from what the instructor may require the students to report in writing. This is other wise called reading assignment in order to build both reading and writing vocabularies of the students. The lecturer may prepare his handout but every assignment may be based on what the students read out of the assigned textbook.

CRE  0060.   ECCLESIOLOGY  I
This course is on church business in general, the studies of the church and the mission of the church on earth. What is the church business on earth. What is the church? Why is the church existing and where will the church living forever? How did the church come to be? These and many more will be the focus of this course, it is to explain the purpose of the church and the meaning of the church. This course focuses on the doctrines, life and existence of the church of Jesus Christ. This course will help the student to understand why the church exists.

 

CRE  0061.   ECCLESOLOGY II
This course is on what the church owes itself (what the church owes the church).          It is an indept studies of what the church can do to itself in order to survive, grow             and succeed. It is primarily on the business of the church within the church                 Environment and for the church alone. This study tells many business of the                 church that are needed by the student to understand church ministry for the                      church and in the church.

 

CRE  0062.   ECCLESIOLOGY  III
This course teaches how the clergy and laities shall work together in the local church to achieve the will of God in the church. It is ministries of the pew and the pulpit to attract growth, spiritually and survival. This is called combined ministry of the pulpit and the pew in the church for greater glory in church. This course explains how every member can act as a minister and contribute his idea, services and talents for the greater glory in the church.

CRE  0063.   ECCLESIOLOGY IV

This course teaches how the pastor and members can work together to actualize the mission of the church in the world. This course reveals that the church has a business in the world which are soul winning and world evangelization. This course will make the student to understand the importance of both the Pastor and members in the business of world missions and soul winning.

 CRE  0063.  DISCIPLESHIP
This courage is on how to train, groom, equip and disciple followers to be like their leader. It is a leadership course and fully treats on how the mentored shall be like his mentor through daily training, leadership and scriptural instructions. This course unveils how a student can through learning becomes a teacher, how the disciple shall through following becomes a leader and how a follower can through following becomes a director. This course can help the student to be a good example of Christian leaders. This course will help the student to be a teacher, leader, mentor and a good organizer. Follower of his leaders.
CRE  0064.   PRINCIPLES OF ECCLESIIASTICAL EQUIPMENT
This is an academic course on how to build, train mentor, disciple and equip church leaders. This course reveals the needs of spiritual, academic, psychological, social and ministerial equipment needed by church leaders of our days. Another name for this course is “equipping the leaders” because it aims at training the leaders to meet the master’s demand.  Principles of equipment including education and seminars. This course will help the student to be balanced ministerially and academically.
CRE  0065. BIBLE HEROLOGY
This course will reveal the activities, works, ministries and efforts of Christian heroes, great missionaries, notable ministers of past, church and ministry founders of past centuries who brought the gospel to our fathers in our land. This is a challenging course that would motivate the student learn the sufferings, sacrifices and seriousness of the past missionaries whose legacy we enjoy today. This course will help the student to be serious.

CRE 0066.    MUSICOLOGY
This is the study of the history and theory of music. The students in this course are referred as the musicologists. This course will treat origin, the composers and the writers of Christian songs in S.S and S, Ancient and Modern, Redemption hymns and other documented songs used by the church today. Why such song was composed, the conditions of the writer will be treated. The book of palms also will be reviewed only on the music plat-form to help the student to be vast in the ministry of the Lord and in the church of God .
CRE  0067.   MYTHOLOGY
This is the study of both ancient and modern myths. Myths are stories from                       ancient times, especially ones that were told to explain nature, events or to              explain early             history of people. It also refers to some stories, ideas, beliefs, and           theories that many people believed but do not really exist which are false or                         fictions. In this sense our study shall be based on the false beliefs of the               Palestinian worlds. They believed deities of Baal, a short, Diana and other gods   of the people. African and Nigerian myths shall also be considered such as                     tortoise and rabbit and non- existing myths. This course will build the faith of the   student to maintain his faith.

CRE  0068.   BLOOD BATHOLOGY
Blood bathology is the study of a situation where or which many people are killed violently. This course is otherwise known as the current affairs in Nigerian religions and politics. This course is centered on religious riots in northern Nigeria that claimed the lives, properties and hope of thousands. This course is called discovery of the causes of such riots, the aims of such riots, the targets of the rioters and the cure to such riots. This course will challenge the students and make them to sit up, be careful and see the task ahead of Christian mission.

CRE  0069.   THE PEW AND PUBLICATION RELATION
This course is centered on how to use the church members to reach the world. The pew here is referred to church members who should be trained and equipped by the pulpit to reach the world. This is using the church members to inform the world all the happenings in the church so as to attract the world to the church. It is how to make every church member a public relation officer. This course will help the student to know how to train the believers to catch the big fishes in the ocean (world of sin) and make them saints.

 

CRE  0070.   PRINCIPLES OF JOURNALISM
This course is different from Christian writing. It has to do with how to report news feature writings, news report, news letters and all public dailys as we see them today in our magazines and newspapers. The law of journalism and the benefit of accurate writing will be disclosed. This is one of the greatest academic courses of this department. The student after this course will gain how to report issues and how to harmonize documents and speeches as well.

 

CRE  0071.   CHRISTIAN WRITING
This is different from principles of journalism, which deals on news. This course has to do with the writing of Christian books and how to write, arrangement of book, the title, contents and the chapter. It helps the writer to have focus, think of his audience and have a particular purpose of writing which shall form all he would want to score in such book. The student will gain how to write after this course.

CRE  0072.   PRINCIPLES OF SOCIAL EDUCATION
Principles of social education is an academic course in our Bible college that                  tends to help the student socially and build him up with social issues, ministerial    issues, public matters, public appearances, advanced gatherings and all social        involvements to give him social equipment that would make the minister be                       balanced and fit in every social organization that avoids sin and filtness. This                         course will educate the student socially and make him bright and bold as a                 gospel minister in this dispensation.

 

CRE   0073.  PRINCIPLES OF PUBLIC RELATION
This course is different from the pew and public relation, which aims at using the pew to reach the world. Principles of public relation is aiming at equipping the believer, the minister, the leader or church officer for public relation. This is one of the most academic and the fore runners of the course we have here. This is purely on the study of public relation. It is a basic study of what public relations is all about.

 

CRE  0074.   INTRODUCTION TO SOCIOLOGY
Introduction to sociology is an educational course aiming at introducing the student to the activities, business and the general life of the society. The purpose of this course is to build the student with the issues of the present society and to make him fit in at this dispensation. The student will learn how to belong and the need to belong. Other social organizations such as political parties, trade unions, age grades, village meeting and pressure groups will be discussed to help the student. After this course the student will be very wide in understanding.      

 

CRE  0075.   INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY
This is an academic course aiming at unveiling what is psychology, the origin of psychology, means to study psychology, expression of psychology andmanifestations of psychological threats. The student will be helped with the basic understanding of what psychology is and what it is not. This course will build, equip, up grade and, help the student to reason very well and act very well together with the full understanding of others behaviors.

CRE  0076.   INTRODUCTION TO PUBLIC SPEAKING
This course has to do with how to arrange talks, how to present talks, the mode of presentation, the appearance of the speaker, his preparation and other laws governing the public speaking. This is to prepare the student to understand the occasion and to know what to say in every given condition. Public speaking will help the student to be a good presenter of the gospel.

CRE  0077.   SYMBIOSISOLOGY
The word symbiosis means the relationship of two different persons that live together who depend on each other in special ways to be benefitted from each other. This is an educational course that treats on how pastors can be benefitted from their members and how church members can be richly benefitted from their pastors. This course aims at establishing great and closer relationship between the pastors and their members and make the pew to have great benefits from pulpit, while the pulpit in turn will benefit greatly from the pew. It is a course that will make the church members to depend on the pastor for survival while the pastor in turn will depend on his members for survival, and sustenance. 
CRE 0078.    SYMPOSIOLOGY
This is course that treats on how to call pastor’s meeting for the special training on particular issues or symposium on money, evangelism, meeting of church officers such as group leaders for special training on a special issues like church growth missions or spiritual matters of the church. This is the meeting of the experts (pastors) to discuss important matters affecting their ministries or church at large. This course therefore is a study on how to train experts to be heroes and giants in their fields.
CRE   0079.  COMMUNICATION
This is a course on communication as it relates to the gospel. This course will reveal what communication is and what communication is not, principles of communication and all modes and methods of communication shall be discussed and be unveiled. The student shall be blessed with the knowledge of true communication, administration and how to give needed information at the required time.

CRE  0080.   INTRODUCTION TO MINISTERIAL ELOCUTION
This course is on elocution which aims at helping the student to be bold, have needed knowledge, power of speech, good diction and proper understanding of word selection both in writing, in reading and in speaking. This course will brush the student and make him very sound in reasoning and in speaking. The student after this course will have the power to express himself boldly irrespective of who are there and what are there.

CRE  0081.   EPIDEMIOLOGY
This is the course that deals and treats the spread of heresies in the                                   Christendom. The aim of this course is to deal and to control the spread of                        heresies, which are spiritual diseases in the church. The issues of major                    concerns include prosperity without salvation, false prophecies, fake                                    deliverance, denial of hellfire and other important heresies spreading in our days           from preachers and from non preachers including those springing from occult          groups. The student after this course will learn the truth and the authority to                defend the faith.

 

CRE  0082.   ISLAMIC EDUCATION
This course is a challenging course on how the Islamic teachers train their members to adhere to their faith. This course will reveal what is jihad, what is sharia and what is O.I.C and how they are seriously and deeply planted to the infant Muslims before they  fight Christianity and others who believe them not. This course will only challenge the student to sit up, be prayerful and always alert.

 

CRE   0083.  LEADERSHIP THEOLOGY
This course is an educational course that directs the church leaders, trains church leaders and disciples church leaders in order to make them very productive. Although the president and founder of our Bible college Emmanu. Ononuju handles this course for something best known to him, still the course remains one of the most fruitful course in the college. This course will help the student to be very sound in his church leadership and in every thing for God.

CRE  0084.   MANAGEMENT THEOLOGY
Management theology is a course that draws out the project and maintenance of the men, money, machinery, material and the ministry in the church. This is a

School of ministry is a course that teaches how to preach, teach, heal and how to deliver the demon oppressed. This course teaches the student on important things needed for effective teaching. It is on the ethics, outlines, and materials and in general philosophy of teaching. This is a course that treats the laws, the don’t and dos of the called man and woman. It directs the called man to his rights in the church and in the government. The life, duties and the office of the called man or woman is the focus. This course will help the student to know his duties, his rights and his functions.

 

CRE  0089.   CHURCH GROWTH STATISTICS
This is an academic and educational course that deals on general statistics of the church ranging from growth, the number of people that joined the church in a year, number that left and how best the pastor should take records of both members and property of the church as a part of his pastoral duties. The student will learn how to be a preserver of what were handed over to him after this course.

4. COURSES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES

 

CMM  101.     O.T MINISTRY 1.
            This course is full study of the Ministries found in the Old Testament books from Exodus to judges. The major emphasis are on the ministries of Moses and Joshua with greater consideration o the ministries of Aaron, Caleb and the Judges  in Israel. What Moses did, and what Joshua did shall be the great emphasis and the true pictures of this course. It is on Moses and Joshua ministries and not on the books of their activities. Judges and Aaron’s activities together with Moses ministries as our study. This course will help the student to be executive ministries of the New Testament church.

 

CMM 10 2.     O.T MINISTRY 11.
This course is on the Old Testament ministries from the book of  I Samuel  to the book of second Chronicles. The action  ministries and performances of Samuel, Saul, David and Solomon will be majored with regards and treatments to the ministries and activities of other kings in such books. Those that pleased God and those that displeased God will be seen and studied. Thus all kings in Israel and their activities will be studied with greater emphasis on Samuel, Saul, David and Solomon. This course will help student to be a careful minister.

 

CMM  103.     O.T MINISTRY 111
This course covers the books of Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther. The major emphasis will be on the ministries of Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Mordechai and the kings of Persia that reigned in those days. The activities of Israelites of those days shall be looked into. The study is on the ministries and not on the book survey. This course shall help the student to be diligent in this ministry.

This course covers all the books of the major prophets. The emphasis is on the five books of the major prophets. This course will study how many times “thus said the Lord” appeared in these books, strong emphasis, course, condemn actions in actions and rebukes to nations shall be studies. The books of Isaiah, Ezekiel and Daniel shall be focused. Actions, works, ministries, miracles and great events in these books shall be discussed. The course will make the student to be a determined minister of the gospel.

CMM  105.     N.T MINISTRY I
This course has to do with ministries found in the  four gospels. They are specifically on Jesus ministries of healing and deliverance. The numbers of healing and deliverance performed by Jesus, their chapters, significance’s and literal meaning shall be exposed. This course will help the student to believe the continued healing ministry of Jesus till date.

 

CMM  6.         N.T MINISTRY II
This course will base on the teachings and preaching of Jesus, the outreaches of the disciples, miracles in the ministries of the disciples found in the four gospels or their activities as seen in the first four books of the New Testament. This course will dwell on the disciples, activities of the disciples as were observed in the four gospels, while with Jesus and what the disciples did after Jesus ascension to heaven. Emphasis shall be laid on how the apostles formed their ministries which shall be our examples. The course shall dwell much on the sayings of Jesus that have formed our basic  doctrines today

CMM  107.     N.T MINISTRY III
This course has to do with the ministry, outreaches, actions and efforts of the apostle in the fifth book of the New Testament (Acts of the Apostle). The Focus shall be healing, deliverance and all restoration ministries by the apostles in the book of Acts. This course shall help the student to be a courageous and powerful gospel; minister of our age.

CMM 10 8.     N.T MINISTRY IV
This course has to do with the ministries of the church  fathers who complied the bible, solidify the faith and build doctrines for the church according to the scriptures. The efforts of the church fathers are the main focus in this course. This course will help the student to trust and stand for God and the gospel in every given condition in his ministry.

 

CMM10 9.      MOSIACOLOGY
            This course has to do with the ministries and teachings of  Moses. The main focus was on the words and teachings of Moses that sustained the chosen race. The same words can sustain our generation today. What were things said by Moses. This shall form the basis of this course. This course will help the student to be strong and faithful.

CMM  107.     N.T MINISTRY III
This course has to do with the ministry, outreaches, actions and efforts of the apostle in the fifth book of the New Testament (Acts of the Apostle). The Focus shall be healing, deliverance and all restoration ministries by the apostles in the book of Acts. This course shall help the student to be a courageous and powerful gospel; minister of our age.

CMM 10 8.     N.T MINISTRY IV
This course has to do with the ministries of the church  fathers who complied the bible, solidify the faith and build doctrines for the church according to the scriptures. The efforts of the church fathers are the main focus in this course. This course will help the student to trust and stand for God and the gospel in every given condition in his ministry.

This is a course that treats the downfall of the church, the failures of the church and Christian of this century. The course gives light on why, where and how the believers have fallen from their normal standards and from their expected vision and mission. The course is all about the doctrine and spiritual deviation of the present day church. This course will help the students to keep up moving and to stand for God even in times of scarcity and famine.

 

CMM  112.     JESUS  PATTERN OF MINISTRY 1
This course speaks and treats Jesus pattern of Ministry in soul wining. It talks about Jesus teachings and practices in soul winning, evangelism and follow up as were taught and practiced by Jesus who shall be our example in this study. How system of discipleship shall be majored as Jesus makes the student to be epitome of Jesus Ministry and help him to be vibrant in ministry.

 

CMM  113.     JESUS PATTERNS OF MINISTRY 11
This course speaks and treats Jesus pattern of ministry in healing and                               deliverance. It is all about Jesus teachings and practices in healing and in                 deliverance. The course will unveil how Jesus healed and deliver the oppressed.   Scriptures referring to such shall be used. This course will help the students to be            true Jesus disciples in the ministries of healing and deliverance and to use     biblical methods in such ministries.

CMM  114.     JESUS PATTTERN OF MINISTRY 111
This course is all about Jesus parables, prophecies and teachings about the kingdom. The meaning of Jesus parables, the prophecies of his coming and the signs as were revealed by Jesus himself and what Jesus says about his kingdom shall be discussed as the main discourse of this matter. The course shall help the student to understand Jesus teachings and prophecies and help him to be a strong Christian in the times of false teachings. This course goes with an open bible to see where they really happened.

CMM  115.     JESUS PATTERN OF MINISTRY 1V
This course is all about the last ministries of Jesus on earth. These course is found in the last three chapters of the book of Mathew. The last two chapters of Mark, the last four chapters of Luke and the last three chapters of John’s gospel. This course is all about Jesus arrest, judgment, crucifixion, death, burial, are powerful resurrection of Jesus, and his bodily ascension to heaven. These issues are the greatest miracles on earth and in the bible. They are the purpose of Christian faith, why Jesus came and the only reason
we have El Theological College and International Institute of Missions Nigeria.The purpose of this course is to prove that Jesus really was crucified, died, buried, resurrected and finally ascended to heaven. Ascension to heaven was Jesus last earthly ministry. This course will make the student to defend the faith and to stand and trust Jesus  all the days of his life.

CMM  1 16.    ETHICS OF PROPHETIC MINISTRY
This course teaches the biblical prophecies and harmonizes the Old and New     Testament prophecies. It explains and introduces the example of bible prophecies and fake prophets of our century and encourages the sincere ministry of prophecy. It explains the difference between the prophets and the prophesier. The ministry of a prophet and the gift of prophecy. This course will     help the student to be very mindful of occult prophets of our time.

CMM  117.     PRINCIPLES OF INTERCESSORY MINISTRY
This course has to do with intercession, especially for the unconverted, unchurched areas, Muslim communities and for the heathen words. It simply means praying for other as  a full time ministry and as a devoted business of the Lord. It is the ministry of A MAN AT THE GAP. It requires love, sympathy and burden to form a true intercessory ministry. The minister of intercession must be a sacrificial person and very spiritual. This course will help the student to see  untouched ministry of the Lord.

CMM  18.       ETHICS OF WARFARE MINISTRY
(PRESIDENTIAL TALK)This course has to do with warfare prayers. Offensive prayers, binding and losing with prophetic utterances in the ministry. This course is on how to organize and to make offensive and serious attacks to Satan and resisting issues in life, in ministry or at homes. The students will learn how to be a war man for the Lord through this course. This course will make the student to be very serious and to discover other hidden and spiritual elements that fight the church, homes and individuals.

 

CMM  119.     ANALYSIS OF BENEVOLENT MINISTRY
This course has to do with sacrificial and charitable ministries of helping and all supportive ministries such as orphanage, helping the widows, prisoners, the  sick, motherless and the fatherless. It is the ministry for the poor and less privilege. It is on how to organize such ministries and the need for such ministries. The course opens the eyes  of the student to see the abandoned business of God, which is so neglected by the church but so regarded by the Lord. This course teaches on how to be involved in this ministry on full time and how charitable organization can be used to served God and humanity faithfully.

CMM  120.     KNEEOLOGY
This course teaches all about Christian prayers, petitions, and supplications and how  to get things from God and obtain divine favour. The course is on  how to pray, the need for prayers, the purpose of prayers and the man of prayers. This course will make the student to make prayers as a full time ministry and full time business of the Lord. This course deals on the need to pray and to kneel in order to communicate to God and to get things from our father. This course will make the student to be a  true minister of the gospel.

 

CMM  121.     PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN PIETY
This course is on the process and ingredients that make a minister very pius or a devoted Christian. This is on the principle issues that makes Christian devotion very rich, very real and very visible. How can a minister be spiritual, a faithful follower, serious minded and pius, very in nature. This course will help the student to be very pius, very   spiritual and very close to God. The student will learn how to be alone with God. In order to achieve close relationship with God.

CMM  122.     CHARISMATOLOGY
            This course has to do with the studies on how to acquire  spiritual gifts, how to use spiritual gifts, when to desire the spiritual gifts and the benefits of spiritual gifts. The course also will unveil the needs of spiritual gifts in our ministries. This course will build the student to be spiritually rich and daily flowing with signs and wonders in his ministry. The names and number of spiritual gifts shall not be neglected as we study this course as well.

 

CMM  123.     MATRIMONIALOGY
This course treats about Christian marriage, whom to marry, when to marry, how to marry, where to marry and all biblical laws governing Christian marriage. It reveals the duties of man in marriage, the actions of God in Marriage. This course also treats only the process of Christian marriage down to the wedding ceremony. This course will help the student to know the Christian standard and conditions of marriage.
CMM  124.     PRINCIPLES OF FAMILY LIVING
This course has to do with the spiritual principles that sustain the Christian family. It speaks about family prayers, family altar, bible reading, family devotion and how to bring up children in the fear of God at home. This course is totally on the spiritual side of the Christian family and what keeps the fire still burning. This course will help the student to understand the secrets of family survival.

 

CMM  125.     PRINCIPLES OF HOME MANAGEMENT
While family living deals of spiritual, home management deals on physical. This course is on the management of material issues at home.  It has to do with how to manage the income, time, business, family fellowship and how to control and train children at home. This course spelt thoroughly the duties of the man, the duties of the woman and the duties of children at home. It has much to do with family leadership and principles of physical sustenance. This course will help the student to be family counselor and crisis controller.

CMM  126.     PNUEMA FIERIOLOGY
This course is a powerful and charismatic course dealing on the holy ghost fire and divine fire from God. It nevertheless speaks on the positive side of the fire. It teaches on how to be on fire for God, why is it necessary for a believer to be on fire always, when to release Holy Ghost fire from heaven, where to release fire, why to release the fire? The course teaches the danger of releasing fire and only when it is too needful to release  fire. The course explains the difference between the fire of God and the Holy Ghost fire and teaches that we receive the Holy Ghost fire but release the fire of God. This course will prepare the student to always be on fire for God.

This course is full on the general business, secular and social business of the church, such as launching, thanks giving, fund raising and as many thing as the church may deem necessary as primary business of the time. This course has to do with life crisis, poor income, hard time and physical pains. It reveals the will of God, dealings of God, plans of God and actions of God in crisis and life tempest. It goes further to reveal the possible causes of crisis, storms and famines now and in bible days. This course will help the student to control family crisis. Personal crisis and storms of life.

 

CMM  130.     CONFLICT MANAGEMENT
            This course is on how to manage, control, and deal and to cope with conflict, crisis, disagreement and cold wars in the church. It reveals the biblical truth on how to settle church  disagreement, church cases, church storms and church troubles outside the court. It introduces the biblical principles to handle matters, pressures, and crisis in order to restore peace in the church.

This course will help the student t o be solid crisis expert in the church.

CMM  131.     VINE YARD MANNERISM
This is an agricultural terminology dealing with the farm and the farmer. It is a terminology  dealing with the farmer and his farm products or crops. This course has to do with the leaders relationship with God that attracts other to him. This course presents the leader as the vine dresser and his church members as vine fruits. The course is on what the vine dresser would do in his vineyard to make it more fruitful. The truth on the course is the secrets of fruitfulness. What shall we do to be fruitful, productive and multiplicatable in our ministries is the true target of this  course. This course will reveal to the students those things that make people to be fruitful.

This course is on the call of a shepherd, who is a shepherd? The life and integrity of a shepherd. This course is rather on the person of the shepherd instead of the duties of the shepherd. His spiritual life, home and his ministerial training shall be discussed on this issue. This course will help the student to understand the integrity of the shepherd.

This course is on the works and visions of the shepherd. It is the duties of the pastor in this church. His church duties administrations and businesses as  they concerned his local church and how to carry on the church as an organization. The course is on what the pastor owes his local church and what to do in his local church as an organization in order to move it forward.

CMM  134.     SHEPHERDING 111
This course has to do with what the pastor, as a shepherd owes an individual in his church or what the shepherd owes a single sheep in his   farm. The duties of the pastor to individual members of his church is the key to this study and how he can care for each person as a member in a congregation is the focus of this lesson. The         Student will learn how to care and comfort each individual with different problems in his local church. This course will prepare student to be expert in pastoral businesses.

CMM  135.     SHEPHERDING 1V
This course has to do with the pastor’s extended ministries in the society, in other local churches, across denominations, outside the church community and in other institutions. This course teaches that the pastor is not only for the local church but for all and beyond the church community. The student will be helped to understanding that pastoral business is a universal business.

 

CMM  136.     OUTREACH MINISTRY
This course teaches all about ministries that are carried outside the church, such as evangelism, soul winning, music ministry, drama, out door crusades, tracts ministry, publication ministry, radio, T.V, Motor and other mobile ministries. Outreach ministry is a rich ministry carried outside the pulpit. The mode and mood of out reach ministries shall be the focus of this course. Students will be helped to discover greater honey and milk outside the pulpit.

 

CMM  137.     NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH MINISTRY
            This course is on the five fold ministries of the New Testament. It unveils the five fold ministries as were revealed by Ephesians 4:11-12. this course speaks on the purpose of the ministries of the Apostle, prophet, Evangelist, pastor and teacher in today’s ministries and in our churches today. This course will help the student to discover where he was called and his special assignment from the Lord.

CMM  138.     YOUTH MINISTRY
This course is of two folds, one is on the life of the youth and  the other is on the businesses of the youth in the society, in the church and in his private career. This course is fully on how to help the youth grow richly in grace and how to help the youth work effectively in grace. This course will help the students to know how to handle the youths in his local church and in his community, town or village.

CMM  139.     LAY MINISTRY
This course is the course that treats how to use the laymen and women in the church to effect growth and productivity in the church of God. This course unveils the potentials in the lay members and how best to tap such out of them for the growth of the church. It is on how to train, use, utilize, groom and disciple the lay people in the church for the growth of the church. It is on how to fix the lay members in  positions where they can feature very well for the church growth. This course will help the student  to be discipler in the church.

CMM  140.     WOMEN MINISTRY
This is called gender ministry where women are equipped groomed and discipled for the business of the Lord. Women ministry is a necessity in every local church and in every denomination, for in door prayers, evangelism, market outing, open air, visitation and other ministries of the church. The pastor’s wife (the shepherdess) should be key leader and motivator of this ministry. This course teaches how to use women to achieved growth, revival and spirituality in the church of God.

CMM  141.     EQUIPING THE SAINTS
This  course is on how to keep the church workers fresh and lively for the smooth running of the church. The equipment includes how to direct the church worker to prayer, to devotion, to studies and how to help him acquire the spiritual gifts, holy heart, holy living and how to evangelize. The equipments are of three folds, which include academic equipment, spiritual equipment and charismatic equipment, all for the business of God.

CMM  142.     HOMILETICS
            This course treats how to preach, what to preach, when to preach, and why to preach. It is a course that harmonizes preaching, the kinds of sermon, the nature of sermon and the mode of sermon. It is a pulpit theology and teaches how the pastor should dress, appear and behave before his sermon. This course will help the student to be good preacher.

CMM  143.     PRODIGIOLOY
This course has to do with the methods of achieving our life goals. It has to do with how to succeed how to score our goals, how to be great and how to be vision oriented leader in order to achieve greatly. This is the ministry of great achievements.

CMM 146.      THE CHURCH BUSINESS STRATEGIES
This course is on how business is formed, what are the things needed in every  institution such as the church, school, business centers, families, hospitals and other sacred and secular institutions. This course treats four stages of every institution such as form stage, storm stage, norm stage and perform stage. It also gives guidelines on how each stage should be handled to avoid an abnormal storm which is the greatest conflict in every institution. Business shall be unveiled especially as it concerns  the church as God’s own institution and          business. This course will help the student to know how to handle matters in his church and else where.

CMM  147.     PASTORAL MINISTRY
            This course is all the pastor’s ministry of caring, preaching, teaching and overseeing the local church and members activities in the church. In this case about four things are seriously required:
a.         Preaching and teaching the members
b.         Praying and caring for the members
c.         Visiting and helping the members
d.         Loading and overseeing the members
The Student will learn all about the duties of the pastor in the local church.

 

CMM  148.     NOMADIC ETHICS
This course is on the code of conducts, character and life of the nomads. There are four basic characters of the nomads, which include:
a.         Going along with their animals
b.         Sleeping in the bush with their animals
c.         Searching for the needed food for their animals
d.         Guiding their animals. The pastor is a shepherd and also a nomad who goes about with his flocks.
Four things are required of the pastor to keep his members living and following among these four things like the nomads  are these:
a.         Compassion, empathy and caring for souls
b.         Guiding the members against spiritual wolves and killers
c.         Going to the members and knowing their problems in order to solve them.
d.         Feeding the members with the needed materials and spiritual food.
The student will through this course learn how to preserve souls.

CMM 149.      PSYCHOLOGY OF CHURCH  GROWTH
            This course has to do with two things (a) things that will help the church to grow and (b) things that will hinder the church from growing. This course deals on life, attitude, behaviuors and programmes that can bring about the growth of the church and those that can hinder the church from growing. It emphasizes on the reasoning, thinking, planning and statement that can generate church growth and those that are anti-church growth. The student will discover his mistake after this course and will correct it for his church growth.

CMM   150.    RAPPORT AND INTER-PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
This course teaches how to create relationship, how to create friends and to cooperate and move with people of different temperaments. This is the course that creates the possibility of getting along with people irrespective of their educational level, social status, tribes, race, differences and their negative
opinions. This course makes rooms or accommodating all opinions and thoughts without hurting anyone. The student will learn how to enjoy relationship with others after this course.

CMM   151.    ETHOS OF MINISTRY
            This course is on the ethics or mode of conducts of the gospel ministers. It deals on how to do in every special condition in the ministry of the minister, how to cope with hard times, how to cope with issues relating to the ministries. It is all about the minister and things very common with this ministries and how to go along with the issues such as wedding death, child birth, dedication, baptism, preaching, teaching, transfer, successor, predecessor, visiting pastor, management, church leadership and other things that are very common with the ministry of the pastor. The students will learn what to do in his difficult situation through this course.

CMM 152       INTER AND INTRA CHURCH MINISTRY

            This course has to do with things that are happening in different denominations, new ideas of ministry, diabolic activities at the pulpit, strange issues in the church and unchristian manifestation in Christendom. It also speaks how to heal and bring sanity to the church. It directs ministers corrections and good seeds inside their own local churches. This course will help the student to understand the shortcomings in Christianity nowadays.

CMM  153.     PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN TEACHING

            This course has to  do with what to teach in Christianity, the aim of teaching, how to teach, the book of teaching and the theme of Christian teaching. The biblical principles that make Christian teaching unique shall be unveiled in this course. It is a course that finds out the truth, how do we teach? What do we teach? Why should we teach, what are we aiming, what are our focus topic and our emphasis in this teaching. These and many others shall be discussed. This course will help the student to be a good teacher.

CMM   154.    HISTORY OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

            This course traces where the vision, origin and practical ministry started. The origin of this course without doubt is the call of Abraham, which continues with Isaac and Jacob with its greatest foundation on the call and ministry of Moses, which later passed to Joshua, Samuel and others down to N.T. prophets like John the Baptist, who introduced Jesus who gave life, pattern, name and meaning to Christian ministry which the apostles carried down to us. This course will help the student to understand that his labour is not in vain.

CMM   155.    SUFFERIOLOGY 1

            This course traces and teaches that Christian sufferings are parts of Christian training, parts of Christian discipline and maturity and process of the Christian
promotion. This is a case study on the lives of Abraham, Joseph and Job who suffered greatly and later became rich. God used suffering as pasts of their ministries. This course will help the Christian to know what to do, what to say and how to manage our suffering to avoid offending our God.

            This course  traces  that Christian’s sufferings are parts of their training, parts of their discipline and maturity and God’s process of promoting the Christians. This is a case study on the lives of Moses, Jephthah and David who suffered greatly, rejected and humiliated but later became leaders of their generations.             This course teaches and traces suffering and sees Christian sufferings as parts of Christian ministries, which are God’s method of training, leadership, conversion, equipment and God’s method of building the believers to Christian maturity. This course emphasizes that suffering are God’s process of promoting the Christians. This is a case study of the sufferings of the entire race of Hebrews in Egypt and how God used that occasion to destroy their enemies and gave them their own land that flow milk and honey, things they lacked while in their slavery at Egypt. This course will be applied to believer’s present sufferings.

CMM  158.     SUFFERIOLOGY  IV

            This course traces and teaches suffering in the bible and sees sufferings as parts of Christian Ministries, which are God’s methods of training, equipping, converting, building, and God’s greatest instrument of discipleship. Sufferings are God’s process of promotion and prosperity according to this course.

            This is a case study of the trials, suffering, persecutions, death and triumphant promotion of JESUS who is our example in this and in every other thing.             This course is on how to train children, build up children and how to convert children. It speaks about child’s psychology and developmental process of a child. It is generally o how to win the children for the Lord and also use the converted children to win other children outside the faith. This course will help the student to understand how important are children in the church and in the kingdom of God.

            This course teaches the modern system or present technology of speech delivery. Its primary aim is to help the student to understand how to deliver special speech, why and when to deliver speech. This course is on how to prepare the speech, mode of presentation, purpose of speech presentation and the appearance of the speaker. CMM 161.      PRINCIPLES OF MINISTRY FORMATION
            This course is greatly on how to start a new ministry, new church or new gospel mission. It is different from church planting. Its primary purpose is to help the student to understand how to start a house fellowship, cell group, bible club house ministry or family fellowship through which a big church may spring up. This course will help the student to discover the widest range which printing materials can travel.

CMM  163.     PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN PROSPERITY

            This course reveals the biblical principles of believer’s prosperity and urges believers to be positive towards achieving them. This course will help the believers to understand the will of God in our blessing, progress and prosperity.

CMM  164.     TENT MAKING MINISTRY
This course is on how a minister can still be active in secular trade, secular
business ,craftwork or any profession and still be involved in sacred gospel ministry.  It encourages part time work in the secular ministry with additional
Secular income. This course is fully based on how a minister can still be engaged in sinless secular business to support income and sustain his family. It suggest that minister can be in their secular offices, stores, workshops or business corner and still be active in  their gospel ministries. It is called working and preaching ministry. This course helps a student to understand that there is no evil in secular business if maintained property and added to our gospel ministers.

CMM  165 .   ETHICS OF PUBLIC PRESENTATION .
            This course is based on public ministration, especially preaching or teaching. It emphasizes on the ethics and principle of speaking and tells how and what to speaks how to appear and mode of addressing and when invited for public ministry. It addresses  the issue of the occasion and the speakers fore-knowledge of the issue before going. This course will help the student to be a good conference speaker.

CMM  166.     INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN SACRIFICE

            This course has to do  with five important issues as the present Christian sacrifices, which include these.

2.         Offering of our money, giving and supporting the work with all our hearts.

CMM 167.      PRINCIPLES OF  ECCLESIASTICAL PROJECT
            This course has to do with church projects, works and church business. It gives information on how to carry church projects  like building, equipment or construction without stress. It encourages minister to be involved in great or small projects in the churches with the little at their reach. It introduces starting with the little at hand with whatever is available to starts with a step and later reached the destination. This course will help the students to start any project with whatever he has at wherever he is.

CMM 168.     PRINCIPLES OF   ECCLESIASTICAL CONVOCATION
This means the principles of calling the formal meeting or any act of calling members together for the discussion of church matters.  This course is on how to call members, ministers and church officers for a special church meeting aiming at building and upgrading the church. This  course is oh how, why and when do we call for church convocations and what are the issues to discuss, to share and means  of organizing church meeting without stress. The student will learn how to organize meeting and how to gather big crowed after this course.

CMM 169.      INTRODUCTION TO SECULAR MINISTRY
            This course is different from tent making ministry, which speaks, on a full time minister to be part time in secular work. This course advocates for how a minister can occupy his full time secular jobs and be involved in church ministry, preaching, and teaching, evangelizing and helping or doing other administrative works, receiving no salary from the church. CMM 1 71.     PRINCIPLES OF CHURCH MINISTRY

This course based on the services, duties and expected works of the church and individual Christian in the church. The ministries include evangelism, publications, printing, healing, prayers, deliverance, visitation, caring, supporting and other duties and services expected of a child God in the house  created by a burden in his heart and urges him to be  doing in Christian services.
CMM  172.     INTRODUCTION TO MOBLIE MINISTRY

This course teaches how a Christian man can communicate the  gospel outside the church and outside the pulpit. It introduces the methods of tracts sharing, telephone calls, letter writing, radio preaching, T.V preaching, motor, railway, air and sea ministrations. It introduces computer communication through E-mail and Web site to reach the unreached including Publications and visual aids. This course will help the student to understand that successful ministry is not only in the local church. 

CMM  173.     CELL GROUP PSYCHOLOGY

This course teaches how the church can grow through cell group and the purpose of house fellowship. It directs the great advantage of knowing all, using all and teaching in the same house. It teaches how people can catch teaching easily through establishment of house fellowship. This course will help the student to know the importance of house fellowship and be serious with house fellowship management.

CMM  174.     PODIUMOLGY
In line with the studies of Christian ministry, this course stands as the doctrine of            the alter men, how the pastors and teachers should appear, their attire, their                        personal lives, preaching ethics, conducts and their integrity. These will include     the spiritual and social lives of the people at the altar of God and how the altar                   should be used to attract sinners and bless the believers. This course will help the          student to know how important is the altar of God in the Church.

CMM   175.    ISLAMIC MINISTRY

This course reveals what the Islam and possible means to win Muslim  for Christ. It also addresses where to get the Muslims, how to win the Muslims and the weakness of the Muslims. This course will help the student to see the Muslim as sinners and pray for their conversion by using powerful gospel means to reach them for Christ. The areas of possible agreement shall not be neglected also.

 

CMM   176.   PAULINE MINISTRY STRATEGIES
This course treats and reveals ministry of Paul and what Saint Paul speaks about Christian ministry. The books of Acts of the Apostle and the twelve epistle of Paul shall be reviewed and used as case study. The instruction of Paul, his teachings  concerning Christian ministries shall be the focus of this course. What he wishes the ministers to be shall be absorbed as our derivation in this lesson as a whole.

CMM 177.      PULPIT PHILOSOPHY
This course is on the minister’s ministry, why should a minister preach, teach or prophesy. Why is the man of God called? And what is he expected to do as a called man at the pulpit? what are the requirements for the called man and how should he respond to the ministries his life style, ethics, integrity, morality, vision, mission and ministry? What should he preach, teach, interpret or prophesy and how should these be conducted by the man at the pulpit? This course will help the student to know the sacredness of the pulpit and the call of God in general.

 

CMM  178      PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY
This course is all about church ministry. Why should the church evangelize,                    preach, teach and prophesy? Is there any reward for the jobs, who owns the jobs and how does the called, know he is really called. This course answers these   questions and builds the faith of the believer. The course tells the hope of the                       minister, the owner of the ministry and how the job should be done to the glory of      the master. The course will help the student to be wise and do the work of God       faithfully.

CMM179        ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES IN THE CHURCH
This course is on financial accounts and general stewardship in the church. The course give light on why the secretary, the treasurer, Sunday School teachers, the pastor and other workers of the church should gives their  literal account of stewardship to their visible employer to evaluate their church services here on earth before going to heaven. The account of stewardship was required by the Lord, so is it also required in the church to kill suspicion  and fear from men. This course will make the student to know and see the need of visible accounts in the church.

 

CMM 1 80.     PHILOSOPHY OF SUCCESS
This course speaks and teaches possible issues that lead to ministerial success.            Many suggestions have been given as positive thinking, vision, planning, Diligence, burden, prayers, changes and many other things that can lead to                     greater success in the ministry of the pastor. In the issue of success in the ministry and encourages the student to be practical           to such. This course will help the student to discover why he has not succeeded    and helps him also to see road map to success.

 

CMM  181.     INTRODUCTION TO FREELANCE MINISTRY
            This is a ministry where the minister is not employed by any Christian                                     organization but eating, feeding or earning his income through his ministry to                      churches, homes and other Christian organizations. His ministry is feeding him       as he goes about preaching and teaching and working for God through frequent   invitations from people. The preacher in the freelance ministry  is called a                         freelancer. The is a wonderful ministry and also a bible based ministry. This              course is to let the student understand that the ministry is not only in the local                        church but also outside the church and in the field. This course can make the                 student to see wider and operate wider.

 

CMM  182.     PRINCIPLES OF INDEPENDENT MINISTRY
Independent ministry is a ministry not owned or established by any church or any
existing Christian Organization but a single gospel minister. This ministry may major on evangelism, healing, deliverance, motor ministry, night vigil, and Prayers or on praises but still not established by any church but by an individual ministers. The ministry may operate  from the church hall or in the church hall or rented hall, still not by the church. The minister in charge of the independent ministry may be a paid pastor in another denomination, still his independent ministry may be different from his church.Independent ministry is not a church but  a fellowship that can operate on weekly days apart from Sunday services. Independent  ministry is needed and can expose the potential and call of the ministry. It is different from freelance ministry. Independent ministry has her members from people of different denominations, from different cities and from different religion backgrounds. This course encourages independent ministry. This course will help the student to discover his divine assignment.

CMM  183.     COMPARATIVE MINISTRY

This course is on how to preach, teach and minister in another tribe with different culture and different religion. It is the revelation on things necessary in inter-religious activities.  The course speaks of the mode, mood and types of ministries required in such inter-religious programme. The course addresses how a minister should behave ,speak and appear when preaching and teaching in Hindus, Islam, Buddhist and heathen communities and tribes. This course will help the minister to be expert in cross-cultural ministry.

 

CMM 1 84.     INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN FISHERY

This course makes, sees and groups every believer as a minister and places the task of world evangelization before him. The tasks before every believer is soul winning, which every believer must either be involved in person or send his substitute. This course teaches how the church should be God’s evangelistic agent on earth. It makes every believer a minister and agent of help in fishery. This course helps  the student to be active in evangelism.

 

CMM  185.     FLOCK DEMOSTICATION

This course is purely how animals be useful, homely and to be cultured. It is visibly referred on how to train church members and converts from different tribes, different ethnic groups and from different religious background to be one body in Christ. This is another course on training the converts to be like their converter.

In Christian  ministry, this course only refers and reveals the act of bringing different animals into control. This course is on how to bring a crisis prone individuals or different people with different  problems into control and how to create hope to hopeless individuals in the church and how to bring their troubled life into control.

This course is on how to feed the church members with the teaching, preaching             and ministries to each group of the church according to the growth, maturity and         knowledge of each group and unveils the type of teaching that should be given to         the congregation depending on its growth.

            This course is on how to locate vacuums in the field of soul winning and how to     win, converts, establish churches and bring the gospel to the un-churched                        people and to un-churched  areas. It deals on the harvest of soul winning in our         days, especially the group soul winning in these days.

CMM  189.     ECCLESIASTICAL ANTHROPOLOGY
            This is the combination of the studies of the church and the studies of human        cultures that make up the church. Who are the people in the            church? What are they doing there? How can the people build the church with     their potentials?     This course is on church building and on church stability.

CMM  190.     AFRICAN PHILOSOPHY
This  course is purely on African culture, reasoning and African behaviour that   can be refined into gospel ministries. It is on how to refine the crude African                        culture into refine gospel ministries. How shall we use the Africans to convert the         Africans according to their cultures.

CMM  191.     PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN FOLLOW UP
This course is on things to do in order to have effective and successful follow up.           How to do, what to say, when to visit and the importance of follow up by the                  church. The course encourages follow up and gives guidelines on how to do it. The course    will help the student to populate his church through visitation and        follow up.

CMM 1 92.     ECCLESIOLOGY
            This is course hat teaches all about the church. What the church is, what the   church does, how the church does, what it does and with who does the church      perform all its works. The roles of the pastors and the roles of the members in the       church in order to produce the type of church that Christ will soon, rapture shall    also be emphasized in this course. It emphasis the combined efforts of the clergy and the laities in the church of Jesus Christ.

            This course gives the guidelines on team work, collective efforts and combined      vision in the church to achieve church growth in the church. This course will help the student to understand                      what is Biblical counseling and its benefits in the ministries.

CMM  198.     PREACHING ETHICS
            This course treats the total mode, mood and  methods of preaching. How to                         preach, where to preach, from, why preaching, and the target of each preaching      from the pastor. Preaching ethics is truth in words and in actions.

             This  course deals with the general business of the church which includes fully on             what the church does and it does all it does such as election, appointment and        selection of church officers, duties of each of the officers and all business seen             and done in the church including transfers, meetings and other indoor and out door activities of the church.

            This course  speaks on present and past ministries seen in the bible in history and            in different dispensations.
