El Theological College as the best, most practical, most academic, most spriritual and the most charismatic Bible College in this part of the world has more number of courses than other Bible Colleges and more organized, more cultured and more equipped than other Bible Colleges with more than thirteen (13) departments with over one thousand six hundred (1,600) courses.

Each department in this college has closer to 100 courses, while some have more than 100 courses and each trimester goes with one department, while the whole of the 13 departments cover a full session of four years studies in our college. Department of Biblical studies is a department fully devoted to study, research and look into the Bible Matters with detailed focus. After this course, students will be helped to be Bible based and Bible scholar.

BBS 101: BIBLIOLOGY
This course traces the origin of our Bible, the inspiration of the Bible and general translation of the Bible. It helps the students to trust in the authenticity of the Bible.
BBS 102: GENESIS I
This course traces and unveils the book of Genesis with concentration on creation, temptation, the flood and all major events from Genesis chapter one to Genesis chapter eleven. (Gen 1-11)
BBS 103: GENESIS II
This course traces the origin of Israel from Abraham’s call in Genesis chapter twelve to Genesis chapter fifty. It covers all major events, characters and people from Genesis 12 to 5o.
BBS 104: GENESIS III
This course aims at bringing the stories, peoples, cities, places and events seen in the entire book of Genesis with the present world of history. It is a comparative study aiming at comparing the stories of Genesis with today’s reality. It is to prove the Bible accurate and true.
BBS 105: GENESIS AND SCIENCE
This course is also a comparative course. Ti compares the natural creations in Genesis with the testimonies of the sciences and the agreement of the genesis story with today’s

BBS 106: PENTATEUCH I
This course deals on the peoples, places, laws and major events in the first five books of the Bible (from Genesis to Deuteronomy) it aims at educating the students with the most ancient live of the people in Bible days.
BBS 107 PENTATEUCH II
This course treat majority of the characters in the first five books of the Bible, exposing the secret of their success and those of their failures. The course aims at helping the students to be more careful, spiritual and wise.
BBS 108: EXEGESIS OF EXODUS
This course majors on the life and ministries of Moses from Exodus chapter 1 to Exodus chapter 17 and aims at helping the students to capture the secrets of obeying God’s voice.
BBS 109 EXEGESIS OF EXODUS II
This treats the history and life of Israelites after leaving the land of Egypt. It exposes the secrets of divine guidelines, good Administration and presence of God in the midst of wars. This course covers Exodus chapter 18 through 40.
BBS 110 INSIGHT TO LEVITICUS
This course treats all about the laws, ceremonies, worship, priesthood and issues relating to Israel’s origin of religious organizations good leadership and wonderful church management.
BBS III SURVEY TO THE BOOK OF NUMBERS
This course majors on the journeys of the Israelites after they left Egypt, How they were

BBS 112 EXEGESIS OF DEUETRONOMY I
This course covers Deuteronomy chapters 1 through 17. It aims at understanding all about the old Testament laws and compares them with the New Testament grace. It helps the student to be holy and sincere to God always..
BBS 113 EXEGESIS OF DEUTERONOMY II
This course covers Deuteronomy chapters 18 to the end (chapter 34). Its emphasis is on second Laws to the Israelites, wars, victories, obedience of Jews and the fare well address of Moses, the servant of the Lord. This course helps the students to be obedient even unto death.
BBS 114 OLD TESTAMENT SURVEYS I BBS (GEN- DEUT):
This course is different from the Pentateuch, which we have earlier discussed. This course is purely on the key people, key places, key events, and the key doctrines of the first books of the Bible. This deals on the very role of the individuals with emphasis on Adam. Cain, Enoch, Seth, Noah, three sons of Noah, Abraham’s origin, Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob, Moses, Joseph and Israel’s Government.
BBS 115 OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY II (JOSHUA - II SAMUEL )
This course has to do with the survey of the major’s roles, major events, sayings and the activities of the key people in these books of the Old Testament. The purpose of this study is to make the students to be very decisive, faithful and ministry conscious always.
BBS 116 OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY III (I KINGS TO ESTHER)
This course aims at surveying the activities of the Bible Heroes, the secrets of their success, the causes of their failures and all major events in these books. The students will be taught on how to trust God and become great in our society.
BBS 117. OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY IV (JOB TO SONGS)
This course has to do with the wise sayings of the authors instead of their lives and issues of their society.
This course aims at building the students and making them to be great heroes, faithful warriors, ministry giants and diligent workers in the ministry. The course has the keys to success, keys to victory and keys to prosperity.
BBS 118 OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY V (ISA TO MALACHI)
This course is different from major or minor prophets and completely different from the Bible prophecies. It has to do with the history, background and survey of the none prophetic activities of these authors. The purposed their society during writing is to be considered. This course helps the student to mind God and to be the types of person God wants them to be.
BBS 119 NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY I (MATT TO ACTS)
This course is not life, ministry, miracle or teachings of Christ, still this course can not feature properly without these. The course fully majors on what people did and said and on what happened to people during Jesus’ ministry. It has a focus on the birth of the church and the activities. The student after this course should learn how to set goals and how to grow from grace to grace.
BBS 120 NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY II (ROM TO PHILEMEN)
This is to survey Paul’s doctrines and the foundation of Christian faith. The major issue in this course is to understand the keynote and key words in each of the books, the meaning, purpose and the reason for the letters are not major concern. The student should learn how to be holy and
Blameless in this sinful world.
BBS 121 NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY III (HEB TO REV)
The major issue in this course is to study the New Testament hope of the future events, life after death and how to live in this hostile world. The student will learn how to be loyal to God and become great in the ministry.
BBS 122 HISTORY OF ISRAEL (EXD TO JUDGES)
This course has to do with the journeys, wars, problems and sufferings of Israel, before and after settlement. The major emphasis goes to the oppressions of other nations, victories of Israel and results of trusting in God. This course will help the student to be strong.
BBS 123 MAJOR PROPHETS (ISAIAH TO DANIEL)
This course had to do with the survey of the major prophecies, key words, situation of the prophecies, and the literal and scriptural meaning of such prophecies. Much emphasis will be laid on the saying instead of the persons. This course will help the student to be mature and sound in faith.
BBS 124. MINOR PROPHETS
This course is a discourse on Minor Prophets with the aims of surveying key words, situation of the prophecies and the literal and spiritual meaning of such prophecies. Much emphasis also will laid on the saying instead of the persons. This course will help the student to posses vision and be involved in missions.
BBS 125 EXPLORING THE BOOK OF JOSHUA
This course will be majored on the historical part of this book. While the emphasis will be on the major events, wars, cities and persons that performed. This course will help the students to be strong soldiers of the cross.
BBS 126 LIFE OF CHRIST
This study is primarily of Christ which is termed as the A.B.C. of the four gospels. Its main aim is to reveal the Attitude, Behaviour and Character of Christ (A.B.C). The sayings of Christ and how he behaved during persecutions, accusations, attacks, questions and arrest. His teachings should also be considered. This course will lead the student to be spiritual, Gentle and to be like Jesus always.
BBS 127 MINISTRY AND MIRACLES OF CHRIST
The studies of the whole miracles performed by Jesus with consideration to their spiritual and social meanings shall be focused. How Jesus carried his earthly ministries and how Jesus saw the ministry shall be the supreme purpose of this course. This cause shall make the students to be charismatic, spiritual and ministry minded.
BBS 128. PARABLES AND TEACHINGS OF CHRIST
The parables, Emphasis and teachings of Jesus Christ are the focus of this study. The whole parables and total teachings of Jesus and their spiritual, social and physical meanings together with their daily implications in today’s activities shall be unveiled. This study aims at equipping the student to be wise, strong and to be sound in reasoning and actions.
BBS 129. THE WORLD OF THE N.T.
The indept studies of the Palestinian world, the Roman government, the Jews, the Pharisees, scribes, Sadducees, priests, elders and the civil government in Israel during Jesus days shall be considered and be unveiled. The causes of Jesus’ persecutions before his death. This course will make the student to be challenged and stand firm in his faith.
BBS 130. THE SUFFERINGS AND DEATH OF CHRIST
The Sufferings, Abuses, Rejections, Betrayals and all hard and bad treatments received by Jesus shall be the main focus of this study the emphasis here shall be what others said and did instead of what Jesus said and did. This course shall help the student to be more convinced that JESUS is the very Christ, the Lamb of God and Saviour of the whole world.
BBS 131. PROPHECIES AND PROMISES OF CHRIST
The prophecies and promises of Jesus are the focus of this course. Emphasis shall be laid on Books of Matthew chapters 24, 25 and the book of Luke 17 and 18, Mark 13, John chapter 10, 14 and 15. This course aims at making the student to be ready for the soon coming of Christ and soon coming blessings that come through our faith in Jesus Christ.
BBS 132 CHARACTERS IN THE JUDGES
The list of the Judges, their backgrounds, their activities and all their secrets shall be focused. Events, wars and famines and the causes of such evil shall be discussed and how God delivered his people shall be the greatest derivation in this study the students shall be taught to abstain from all evil to learn how to trust God in times of difficulties.
BBS 133 CHARACTERS IN RUTH
This idyllic account of an ancestries of great king David of Israel. “RUTH” is another picture of the book of Redemption like the book of Exodus where Israel was enslaved. This study focuses on the life, faith, steadfastness and love of Ruth. Chapter survey shall be taken. The course teaches the student to be decisive, steadfast, faithful and bold in their choice of Christ.
BBS 134 EXEGESIS OF SAMUELS (I AND II SAMUEL)
This course has about six major issues to treat (1) the life and ministry of Samuel (2) the life and Ministry of king Saul (3) Israel in demand of king (4) Eli and his family (5) the life and ministry of David (6) David as the second king of Israel. This course will help the student to acknowledge the presence of God always.
BBS 135 KINGSHIP AND HIERARCHY IN ISRAEL (I AND II KINGS)
This course aims at out-lining the whole kings of Israel and Judah beginning with king Saul to the last one. The matter on discourse is knowing those who did right and those who did that which were evil in the sight of the Lord, their sins, good actions and how they died are the main focus of this course. This course will make the student to view his office as kingly office in the sight of God.
BBS 136 INSIGHT TO CHRONICLES (I AND II CHRONICLE)
This aims at outlining the kings whose names did not appear in the books of kings and to asses them. The focus of this course is not mainly the kings but the kingdom, wars, famine, idolatries, Jewish captivity and negative issues to the backsliding people.
This course will help the students to mind God no matter the condition he may find himself.
BBS 137 EXEGESIS OF OF EZRA AND NEHEMIAH
This course will unveil the return of the Jews from their land of captivity, rebuilding of the
Wall of Jerusalem, Re-building of the temple, Revival in the land and the return of people back to their land. More emphasis will be laid on this works of Ezra, works of Nehemiah and the response of the people. This course will teach the students about administration, leadership and Ecclesiastical management.
BBS 138 INSIGHT TO THE BOOK OF JOB
Chapter by chapter study by students on the book of Job will teach the student the issue of man’s sufferings, the act of faithfulness, endurance and God’s care in times of our afflictions. The main focus here is on how Job reacted and how God later blessed him.
BBS 139 EXEGESIS OF PROVERBS AND ECCLESIASTES
Chapter by chapter study by students for these two books will help the student to be wise,
Diligent and spiritual. The focus of this study is to know the plan of God in our every day
Activities. Emphasis shall be laid on special instructions, directions, laws, leadership, special teaching and other issues of life and ministry today.
BBS 140 DEFINITIONS OF THE PSALMS
The spiritual songs and prophecies of the wise king and great leader in Israel is our major
Concern here. This course will make students to be appreciative, careful and always happy with the Lord. The focus shall be on the instructions to the church, God’s caring to the believers, worship and thanks giving. The commands and revelations shall be adhered to.
BBS 141 ROMANCE IN SONGS OF SOLOMON
The interpretation of this book shall be the main focus which reveals the relationship of the Lord with his church (the bride and her bride groom). The great spiritual materials in this book shall help the student to love Jesus and brethren after this course. The spiritual meaning of this book is our major concern.
BBS 142 DISCOURSE IN ESTHER
The main focus in this study is the marriage of Esther with the heathen king, the activities of evil men against the Jews in their land of captivities and the deliverance of the Jews with greater emphasis on the history and life of Esther the Jewish lady. God was not mentioned, neither was there any Lord written in this book still, the student will be helped to be an example in a foreign land Irrespective of the circumstances around him.
BBS 143 DISCOURSE IN THE BOOK OF ISAIAH
The prophecies of Isaiah are the main focus, their meanings, the fulfilled ones, the unfulfilled ones, the prophecies for the church, for the first coming of Jesus and those for the second coming of Jesus. Prophecies for Israel and those for heathen nations shall be treated and be interpreted. This course will help the student to be a good listener, a wise preacher and a good judge of the spiritual issues.
BBS 144 INSIGHT TO THE BOOKS OF JEREMIAH AND LAMENTATION
Studies in the prophecies of Jeremiah and Lamentation shall be viewed chapter by chapter with Literal interpretation to the ones that concern the church and those that have fulfilled and those yet to be fulfilled. The messages shall be considered on their merit. This study shall help the students to understand their ministries, areas of their special assignment.
BBS 145 STUDIES IN THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL
Prophecies of Ezekiel play important role in today’s prophecies and the ministry at large. The book shall be studied chapter after chapter with major focus to the instructions to “SON OF MAN” and dangers of neglecting the voice of God. This course will help the students to understand the voice of God, voice of man and the voice of Satan. It will help the student to have discerning power.
BBS 146 EXEGESIS OF BOOK OF DANIEL

BBS 147. CHARACTER STUDIES
This course surveys the lives, sayings, actions, contributions, piety, greatness, wisdom and general roles of the Bible Heroes with special focus on Abraham. Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, David, Elijah, Elisha, John the Baptist, Peter and Paul. This very course will help the student to be great, Spiritual, wise, Prayerful and to be successful in ministry.
BBS 148. BIBLE MANNERS AND CUSTOMS
This course traces the lives, commerce, customs, manners, religions, history and traditions of the Bible people, especially the Palestinian world and the ancient near east of the Old Testament Days. This course helps the student to evaluate issues and be very strong in his profession.
BBS 149 BIBLE GEOGRAPHY
This course traces the names of towns, hills, mountains, Rivers and areas in the Bible where great things happened according to the Bible history. It also deals with the maps, diagrams and pictures of the great issues in the Bible such as the ruins of Jericho, the point of Lot’s wife. Mountain Moriah, Calvary and many other place of the Bible. This
course helps the students not only to believe God but also to trust the Bible.
BBS 150 BIBLE CALENDER AND NUMBERS
This course unveils the significance of numbers in the Bible such as three, seven, twelve and others. It also teaches about the dates and times when each case took place during the Bible days with emphasis to notable issues in Bible.
BBS 151. BIBLE FESTIVITIES
This course traces and unveils Bible festivities, religious feast, Sabbaths, sacrifices and other ceremonies observed by the Pentecostal era. This course will help the student to cooperate with the Holy Ghost and be more mature in faith.
BBS 152. BIBLE LAWS
This course treats all about the Old Testament laws, the don’ts, the dos and commandment. It treats all in full the theology, laws and beliefs of the Jews. The focus of this study is the four Books of Moses: - Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The aim is to discover those laws concerning each case in the land of Israel and compare the same with our faith and grace as Christians. This course will help the student to be more disciplined, wise and serious in things of
God.
BBS 153. BIBLE PEOPLES AND LANDS
The nations, lands, people and individuals mentioned in the Bible are the main focus of this course. The character, actions and roles played by the enemies and neighours of the Jews shall be viewed, while their wars, commandment and beliefs such people like Moab. Israelites, Egypt, Babylon, Assyria, Syria, Philista, Amorites, Persia, Goliath, Pharaoh, and others will be re-viewed academically. This shall be studied according to student’s needs and wants in the ministry.
BBS 154. BIBLE DEITIES
This course treats the works and religions, Functions of other heathen dieties mentioned in the Bible, the beliefs of the adherents of such gods, the failures of such gods and how the Bible described such gods. This course will help the student to trust the “Jehovah God” as the only true God and Jesus as the only Saviour of the world.
BBS 155. BIBLE CONTROVERSIES
The course will treat some important issues in the Bible that creat doubts, fear and disagreements among the Christians, issues like “who wrote the Bible? Where and whom did Cain marry? Did Moses die a sinner? Did Jephthan sacrifice his daughter? What type of wine did Jesus make? why did Paul instruct timothy to take little wine? Who are the 144000 in heaven? Did angels have sex with and married daughter issues of these natures shall be treated with focus in order to be more academic and more mature.
BBS 156. BIBLE DIGEST
This course has to do with the harmonization of Bible events, Giving meaning and interpretation to Bible words, Bible languages and out lining the issues of the Bible in readable condition such as the Bible petitions and other issues treated by the Bible. This course will help the student to be rest assured and balanced in faith.
BBS 157. BIBLE MORALITY
The course teaches spiritual, purity and how believers should live by taking examples from the bible heroes. It focuses on the integrity and moral standards of the students. The aim is to make the students to be obedient, prayerful, sincere, holy, wise, zealous, and truthful and create Christ Life into their hearts. This course is an ocean of spirituality to students.
BBS 158 BIBLE SYMBOLISM
This course aims at showing the similarity, symbolisms, figurative, examples and revelations of Jesus through the Bible characters. It pictures and reveals Jesus in every book of the Bible. It exposes the life, roles and works of Jesus in every book of the Bible admitting that JESUS is seen in every book of the Bible. The students after this course shall understand the Bible as the word of God in human literature while Jesus is the word of God in human form.
BBS 159 BIBLE DISPENSATION
This course aims at educating the students on the ministerial movements of God, starting with creation of Adam to the time of the Holy Ghost (Pentecost) admitting that the first period or dispensation was the period of innocence when Adam was in the Garden, with about seven divisions up till when the Holy Ghost came upon the saints on the day of the Pentecost. Each dispensation ended with a major event. This course will help the student to understand God as master planner.
BBS 160. BIBLE EVIDENCES
This is both historical, archeological and scriptural studies of Bible stories with focus to some areas, places, things and matters mentioned in the Bible such as Noah’s ark, Calvary, River Jordan, River Nile, Red Sea, Mountain Olive and many more. Our duty in this archeology and sciences is to discover whether happened. This course will help the student to be faithful to God.
BBS 161 BIBLE CHRONOLOGY
This course aims at arranging dates, times and places in the Bible beginning with the creation of Adam till the death of John the apostle who wrote the book of Revelation. The

main focus is to Help the students to be great Bible Scholars of our days. Major issues of the Bible such as Noah’s ark, Abraham’s call, Abraham’s death, Moses, Samuel’s time, David’s anointing, Wars, Kingdoms and the reign of many kings and the New Testament shall be studied. This course will help the students to be historic academic and accurate in things of the Bible.
BBS 162 BIBLE PROSPERITY
This course focuses on the promises of the Bible concerning the faithful believer, the secrets of prosperity, Biblical types of prosperity and kinds of prosperity. This course does not oppose financial prosperity but gives keys to financial prosperity and fights fake and false prosperity Nowadays. This course will help the students to posses their possessions in the Lord.
BBS 163 BIBLE ETHICS
This course treats the moral conducts, behaviours and moral standards out-lined by the Bible for the kings, priests, scribes, pastors, bishops, apostle and prophets of God in the Bible days and ministers today see Ex 18:18-24, Act 6:1-6, 1 Tim 3:1-16. This course will help the students to be disciplined, ethically balanced and gentle in these perilous days.
BBS 164 BIBLE TERMINOLOGY
What is the meaning of word and what does the Bible mean by using this term? Bible Terminology simply means the explanation of names of areas, places, people, things and important events recorded in the Bible. Some have changed names and meanings to be compared with the present day tongue. Bible terminology will explain the importance, the significance, dates and presents location of such word used in the Bible or with ancients term. This course will develop the inner reasoning and understanding of the students.
165. BIBLE ANTHROPOLOGY
This is the study of human society, human components and human behaviours as were only revealed in the Bible. Bible anthropology is quite different from cultural anthology. These course aims at treating the total make up of man as was revealed by the Bible. It is first the science of man according to the Bible records dealing with his creation, free moral will, power to choose, image of God in man, fallen nature of man, authority of man, man’s temperament, behaviour and salvation available for man. This course will help the student to have more love of God in him.
BBS 166 BIBLE MOUNTOLOGY
Many great events of the Bible took place on the mountains. This course is all about the Mountains where those things took place. The name and significance of such mountains shall be revealed and re-viewed. This course will help the student discover God as God of no mistake”
BBS 167 BIBLE GENEALOGY
This course will trace the genealogy of the Bible heroes beginning with Adam and to study their genetical case, life similarities, ancestral connection, genealogical weaknesses and all genetically inheritance. Nevertheless, the main purpose of this course is to trace the human side of our Lord Jesus Christ. This course will help the students to see the wonders of God and wonderful mathematics of the creator of universe (God).
BBS 168 BIBLE COSMOLOGY
This course though not scientific but traces the historical part of the Bible creation and the Bible evidences of the creation and the existence of the universe. This is the study about
our universe with the central focus on Bible revelation about the universe. How it is created, why it is created, who created it, how it will end and many others shall be looked into. This course will help the student to be very vast in understanding.
BBS 169 BIBLE PSYCHOLOGY
This course unveils and reviews the Behaviour of the Bible characters with emphasis on their good and bad works, their weaknesses, their fears, confessions and their failures with major concentration “why they did what they did” and how they cope with hard situation in times of their trials. This course will help the student to be a great Christian, psychologist and the defender of the faith.
BBS 170 ETHICS OF BIBLE DEVOTION
This course is to re-visit the Bible issues with the aim of taking correction from where we fail and going on with where we succeed. This has to do with specific instructions from the Bible to the ministers of the gospel. This course will cover the books of Genesis through revelation and instructions, advice, rebukes, corrections, teachings and other words specially spoken to the ministers shall be studied only. This course will help the student to understand what God expect him to be and to do.
BBS 171 BIBLE RELIGIONS
This course shall treat religions, organizations and Jewish sects or cults found in the Bible. There are many Hebrew sects, which shall draw our attention, with emphasis is on their major practices. Religions, heresies and other occult groups seen must be treated. This course will help the students see Christianity as the gospel and as earthly relationship with God.
BBS 172 BIBLE INSTITUTIONS
This course surveys the general institutions seen in the Bible such as marriage, priest-hood ordination, baptism, Holy Communion, consecrations of kings, Temple building, spiritual matters, Passover, Pentecost and New Testament Church Institutions. Nevertheless this course holds more than were mentioned above and helps the students to understand God’s plan and the relationship between the Old and the New Testament.
BBS 173. BIBLE PROMISIOLOGY
This course treats all the promises of God to the believers and to the obedient servants of God. This is one of the richest courses in the field of Theology and helps the student to acknowledge the divine care to know and to remind him that his labour is not in vain. This is the secret of pastors diligence in services.
BBS 174. BIBLE PROPHECIES
This course treats all prophetic statements, all prophecies by individuals and by known prophets of God and considers true and fake prophecies. This course does not really major on the books of the prophets as are known to us on the entire books of the Bible including those written by the prophets of God. This course will help the student to determine the true and false prophecies in our days.
BBS 175 BIBLE ARCHAEOLOGY
This course traces the ancients ruins of the Palestinian world, Tablets of the ancients near east, Land marks of Israel and other notable areas, places and things mentioned in the Bible. It also studies the important areas where important things happened
according to the Bible records and cities, examples of those still visible today. This course helps the students to believe the Bible records as true and sees the Bible authencity and inspired word of God.
BBS 176 BIBLE AND SCIENCE
This is different from scripture science. This course simply compares the creation as were revealed by the Bible with today’s sciences. It judges the accuracy of the scriptures and emphasizes what the scientist said about the Bible records. This course makes the student to stand firm on his belief that God is the creator of the universe.
BBS 177 BIBLE MIRACLES
This is different from the miracle of Christ. This course has to do with all the miracles performed in both Old and the New Testaments. It’s central aim is to project the significance, the Interpretations and the today’s revelations on such miracles. This course will help you to ask for more unction.
BBS 178 BIBLE CANONOLOGY
This course traces the history of the church fathers, what happened after the apostles, how we got our present Bible and how the inspiration was judged by the compliers of our present Bible. This course will help the student to understand the Holy Ghost as our great teacher who cannot make any mistake in guiding the faithful.
BBS 179 BIBLE TYPEOLOGY
This course plays a key role in the true interpretation of the Bible. It treats the hidden matters in Old Testament that were unveiled by the New Testament. The course aims at showing us the Old Testament types that, manifested in the New Testament, issues of figures, types, ceremonies, shrines, consecrated materials, persons and words that are types of Jesus or types of the New Testament Church and beliefs. This course helps the students to understand the relationship between the Old and the New Testaments and makes him faithful.
BBS 180BIBLE INTERPRETATIONS
This principle, of course teaches the student to understand how to interpret the Bible. It
Emphasizes on the letter, historic, spiritual, comparative, religious, prophetic and other accepted ways to interpret the Bible words. This course helps the student to avoid heresy.
BBS 181 THE POETIC BOOKS
This is the in-dept studies, survey and academic evaluation of the poetic books of the Bible. This study covers the books of Job, psalms, proverbs, Ecclesiastics and Songs of Solomon. The purpose of this study is to discover the problems of life and find divine ways to solve them. The emphasis will be laid on how to cope with life problems. BBS 182. MINISTRY OF THE APOSTLES
This course pictures the ministry, life and strong sayings of each of the apostles that featured in the present book of Acts of the Apostles. This is ministry strategies for the student who needs God’s leadership in his ministry. The student through this course will learn how to preach, teach and how to pray, how to heal and how to cast out demons as were revealed in the ministries of JESUS APOSTLES seen in the Bible.
BBS 183. OLD TESTAMENT PROMISES
This course deals with the survey of the whole promises made in Old Testaments and to discover their fulfillment in the New Testament and meaning of such promises. This course helps the students to know the actual meaning of God’s promises and how they are fulfilled.
BBS 184. THE NEW TESTAMENT PROMISES
This has to do with the survey of all the promises found in our New Testament. Bible, to trace their Old Testament links, their present fulfillment in the Church and what such promises hold for the believers today. This course will teach the promises for literal Israelites, those for the physical believers and those for spiritual Israel (the church). How to get our promises from God will gain prominence in these studies. Students shall be taught on how to capture promises of God to them.
BBS 185. INTROTO BIBLE PARABLES
There are many parables in the Bible and such parables hold significant roles in faith and sustenance of the Christians. This course aims at equipping the student to understand such parables which shall be surveyed and be applied to our day to day activities. This course will help the obedient student to be successful in his ministry and in his life pursuit.
BBS 186 EXEGESIS OF THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES
This is both survey and in-dept studies of the book of the Holy Ghost known as the “Acts of apostles” the fifth book of the New Testament. Our concern on this course is the activities of the Apostles, the early church and the miracles of increase in the early church. This course will help the student to learn church planting and to be challenged in the ministry.
BBS 187 STUDIES IN THE PAULINE EPISTLES I. (ROM-GAL):
This is the survey of the epistles of Paul from Romans to the book of Galatians. The purpose of this study is to draw a conclusion on Christian doctrines. This course will help the student to be a balanced minister in Christian faith.
BBS 188 STUDIES IN THE PAULINE EPISTLES II (Eph-Pill):
This course is to survey the epistles of Paul and to understand the Christian stand in issues of life. It is to understand what the church stands for and the doctrine to accept in the Church of God. It covers the books of Ephesians through Philemon. This course will help the student to be q mature minister and help him to resist all forms of heresies that are coming in our days.
BBS 189 VOCABULARIES OF GENERAL EPISTLES (HEB-JUDE):
This course covers the books of Hebrews through Jude and aims at showing the believers their inheritance in Christ. The student shall learn how to be a soldier of the cross and the wages of diligence. This course will help the student to know what his faith in Jesus is all about.
BBS 191 EXEGESIS OF THE BOOK OF HEBREWS
This course covers the book of Hebrews and uncovers the secrets of faith and the combination of faith and holiness to achieve our divine mandate. It is chapter by chapter after exposition of the truth. This Course helps the student to go after faith and holiness in order to survive as a preacher.
BBS 192 EXEGESIS OF THE BOOK OF ROMANS
This is the book of Church doctrine, Church behaviour, Activities and the believers stand. This book is to be studied as a separate course to give us the mind of God concerning the Church which includes how the Church should live, act and respond to issues. This course will help the students to be heaven conscious every day.
BBS 193 EXEGESIS OF ( I AND II COR. ) CORINTHIANS
This is a course for Christian standards. Don’t be confused with Christian standards and
Christian doctrine. The two are not the same. Doctrine is on our faith while standard is on our doings. This course deals on Christian appearances, women positions, believer’s life styles and the daily representatives of the Christians. This course will help the student on their appearances and confessions as gospel ministers. This is I and II Corinthians.
BBS 194 DEFINITIONS OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION
The studies of Revelation are a necessity in theological colleges. This book is prophetic, still never written by Old Testament prophet. This course aims at revealing the back-ground, the emphasis, prophecies, Symbols, instructions and warning given in this book. It is chapter after chapter and in-dept studies of the last book of our Bible. Emphasis shall be laid on the fulfilled, unfulfilled, future and immediate prophecies in that book. Prophecies for the Church, for Israel, for ancient world and those prophesies for gentile worlds shall be discussed. This course will help the student to understand divine mysteries.
BBS 195. PRINCIPLES OF BIBLE STUDIES
This is the systematic Bible study and the principles and the methods to study God’s word in order to understand and to absorb the truth. Prayers, quite time and devotions shall be focused in this study that deals with God’s word. This course will help the student to be pious and spiritual in things of God.
BBS 196 BIBLE HEROLOGY
This study has to do with the studies of Bible heroes and leaders of the Bible days. The
Contributions and histories of such heroes are our major focus. Their activities and works to the growth of the gospel shall be our focus. This course will bring challenges to the students and make them to sit up.
BBS 197 INSIGHT TO SYNOPTIC GOSPELS
This study is on the first three books of the New Testament, namely; Matthew, Mark and Luke. This course aims at considering their presentation and their records the student will be made to know that Jesus is the Lord of Lords, King of kings, the son of God and the second person of the trinity.
198 EXPLORING JOHN’S GOSPEL
This course is to study the divine person of Jesus and to acknowledge Jesus as the true WORD OF God who was in the beginning with the father in heaven. It is to be viewed chapter after chapter with great concentration on Jesus’ claim “I am He, I am the door, I am the resurrection, I am the truth, I am the Son of God, I am from above”
these claims shall be considered which will help the student to renew his faith, trust and love for Christ. John’s gospel will be studied in detail.
BBS 199 OLD TESTAMENT MINISTRIES
This course will treat the ministries of the Old Testament ministers such as “the priests, the judges, the Kings, the elders, the scribes, the prophets and the war leaders in Israel. This course will help the student to be more faithful in what God has assigned to him to do.
BBS 200 NEW TESTAMENT MINISTRIES
This course will survey the ministries of the New Testament ministers such as the apostle, the prophets, the Evangelists, the pastors, the teachers, the Bishops, the elders, the Deacons and Overseers of the New Testament Church as were revealed by the Bible. This course will help the student discover his calling and to be faithful in his specific assignment from God the owner of His ministry.
BBS 201 EXEGESIS OF THE GOSPEL MINISTRIES
Gospel ministries are different ministries occupied by different ministers according to their gifts and callings. This course gives guide lines on how to heal the sick, cast out demons, deliver the oppressed, break curses, save the sinner, restore the backslider and how to help the believer receive the Holy Ghost baptism. This course encourages the gift of the Holy Ghost among the believers. The student will be helped to acquired ministry gift, unction, wisdom and be equipped in the ministry of the Church.
BBS 202 SCRIPTURE DIALOGUE
This is a type of debate, which appears to be more apologetic. The course has to do with the allegations from the world religions like the Islam, Hindu, Heathen and other antagonists of the bible and the gospel at large, who accused the Bible of being fabricated, imagined and written to suit the weakness of the Christians. This course refutes and defends all the allegations and presents the Bible as the living word of God. This course will help the student to know that Bible is really from God.
BBS 203 SCRIPTURE SCIENCES
This course is a discourse on the present science found in the Bible. It discusses about the moon, sun, star and other issues of the present sciences earlier written and noted by the Bible to authenticate the divine act of God. This course shall help the student to know God as omniscient and omnipresent God who can not change.
BBS 204 COSMOLOGY OLD TESTAMENT
This is the historical study of the Old Testament world, the commerce, life, agriculture,
Civilization, kingship and religions of the ancient world shall be the focus. This is not majored on the Israelites but the Gentle nations around Israel and how their cultures affected the Jews. This course will help the student to compare the ancient world with today’s civilization in responses to the gospel.
BBS 205 COSMOLOGY NEW TESTAMENT
This course discusses the world of the New Testament with major focus on the world in which Christ reigned, the world of the Pentecost (the world in which the church was born) the world of the apostles and the world in which the gospel spread. The Romans, the Grecians, the Asians, the Gentile and the world of philosophers shall be focused to help the student to understand that the call of God is never easy since the birth of the gospel on earth.
BBS 206 THE GOSPEL AND CURRENT AFFAIRS
This course is to bring the gospel with the present’s issues in our society. It compares the level in which the world engulfed the church and the level in which the Church compromised with the world coupled with social sermon in order to accommodate the world. This course reveals dangers in compromising with the world. Students shall learn how to separate themselves from the pollution of the world.
