MINISTRY ACTIVITIES OF THE STUDENTS

The ministry activities of the students are the gospel businesses carried out by the students as part of the requirements for their comprehensive training in El Theological College. The activities are ministry based and are very compulsory for every admitted student to participate fully. Such ministry activities have their own credits and are also considered as parts of the academic works of the students. Below are among the ministry activities of the students.

1. MARKET SQAURE EVANGLISM

Market square evangelism is a compulsarious programme of the student students of El Theological College and stands as one of the greatest ministerial programmes of the registered student of the institution. Students are empowered to preach and to spread the gospel in the markets and in the semi miracles in the cities.

1. HOSPITAL EVANGELSIM

The hospital evangelism of the students comprise both praying for the sick and preaching to the sick in the hospitals. Students of El Theological college are encouraged to “GO INTO THE WORLD AND PREACH” including hospitals and where ever man is found. Hospital evangelism is one of the major fields of the students ministries while in school.

1. PRISON EVANGELISM

The prison yard is a wide field of the students of El Theological College while in school. The students are equipped to go into prison yards to preach and to teach the gospel and to restore hope to the prisoners and all condemned criminals on chains. JESUS died for them and there is still hope for their salvation.

1. STUDENTS CHURCH MINISTRIES

Students of El Theological College are officially sent to churches and parachurch ministries to preach and to teach in order to showcase their ministries and spiritual gifts. Church ministries or church preaching of the students are of great value because the local pastor such church is instructed by the authority of El  Theological College to forward the students ministry performance to the college in order to evaluate the students performances.

1. STUDENTS FIELD MINISTRIES

This is inter-city, inter-state, inter-tribal or international missionary works of the students. This is where the students are sent to other cities or states and more over to rural areas to encourage the rural dwellers, preach the gospel, plant churches and convert souls for Christ. This is only done during the college vacation and is counted as a full credit to the students.

1. STUDENTS FIELD MINISTRIES

The students field ministry is an outreach ministry initiated by the students alone and carried it out in churches, ministries, in fellowships, in Christian organizations or in the community of people or in the society and in the midst of sinners which is aimed at converting souls for Christ. Students of El Theological College are encouraged to initiate field ministries and report back to the college authority for their own credits.

1. CHURCH PLANTING MISSIONS

Students are mandated and encouraged to plant churches as visible evidences to prove their calling and to authenticate their ministries. Church planting is one of the most accepted academic works of this institution and every student is encouraged to be involved in it. Church planting as a visible evidence of the gospel ministry has a highest mark among other activities of the students.

1. CHURCH PREACHING PROGRAMMES

The church preaching programmes of the students are considered as a special invitation to the student to preach on Sunday by a local church pastor. This type of invitation and preaching are of great value and have higher marks. This is where the student is called or seen as the guest preacher of the day. The college also evaluates this preaching and gives equivalent marks to the students. The students are always encouraged to avail themselves for such occasions.

1. STUDENTS CLASS PRACTIAL PREACHING

El Theological College evaluates the students practical ministries students preaching abilities and the students preaching performances by having a periodic schedule when each student is evaluated in the classrooms through the fifteen (15) minutes preaching of each student of El Theological College through which each of the student is evaluated practically. This classroom preaching of the students hence that comes as a course which demands its full exams.

1. STUDENTS SUNDAY FREQUENT PREACHINGS

Sunday frequent preaching of the students is a system through which the college evaluates the preaching and ministry abilities of the students who are full time pastors or the pastors in charge of their local churches. El Theological College in one occasion or the other visits that local church with a delegation in order to evaluate the students progress, success or the students performances in his local church of membership. The pastor of such local church who also is a student of El Theological college is encouraged to do better in shepherding.

1. ASSIGNMENT OF THE STUDENTS IN REDEMPTION CAMPAIGNERS MISSION

Redemption campaigners mission is the church of all registered students of El Theological College as far as such students are in the school, irrespective of the offices they occupy in their  churches each student specific assignment in Redemption Campaigners Mission, either to lead in prayers, to lead in Evangelism, in one programme or the other. This assignment though, did not take them out of their offices or membership in their churches. Students assignments in Redemption Campaigners mission is temporary and only lasts for a short time in order to build their ministries.

1. ELTHECO NIGHT PROGRAMME

Students of El Theological College are both ministers, preachers and conductors of the programmes of El Theological college night programmes such as Eltheco night explosion which powerful night vigil of the college. This is where students feature as both the preachers, teachers, conductors, leaders and members of the programme to promote the gospel of JESUS CHRIST.

1. THURSDAY EMANCIPATION DAY

Thursday emancipation day is the day when Rev. Prof. Emma Ononuju preaches, teaches and prays for the students and outsiders who come for prayers of healing, deliverance and prayers of restoration. It is a miracle day for the students and outsiders. Thursday is a day for signs and wonders for all participants and the students who work as ministers and co-ordinators of the programme.

1. PERSONAL EVANGELISM

Personal evangelism among the student is a necessity. Every student of El Theological College must evangelize, visit and win souls. Evangelism is one of the tasks, duties and one of the requirements for the called men and women of God. Our supreme task and the purpose of our ministries is evangelism. Students of El Theological college should be very mindful about soul winning and church growth activities.

THE GOSPEL PROFILE OF THE ONONUJUS
In the gospel profile of the Ononujus we do not mean what the Ononujus have achieved but we mean what God is doing, we are not demanding for praises but we are demanding for prayers. We are not showcasing how wonderful we are and never how great how great we are, but we are showcasing how prayerful you should be involved in order to actualize the under listed gospel programmes. The gospel profile of the Ononujus showcases the vision and missions of the Ononujus presently in the field, in progress, in action and presently going on here on earth. This gospel profile of the Ononujus is purely prepared for the intercession of all who shall be touched to do so. Below are the gospel ministries of the people.

1. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju is the General Overseer of the Redemption Campaigners Mission (Emancipation Proclaimers Assembly), for the spreading of the gospel, salvation of sinners, restoration of the backsliders and for the spreading of Bible holiness across nations.
2. El Emancipation ministry was founded by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju for the spreading of the gospel, healing the sick, deliverance of the oppressed and breaking of curses and all evil covenants in the land.
3. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju is the president and founder of El Theological College, for comprehensive equipment, grooming and training of the called men and women and to build the gospel ministers for the task ahead.
4. International Institute of missions was founded by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju for the training and equipping called missionaries and ministers for cross cultural ministries, church planting and all ministers for foreign works.
5. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju is the founder of Global Prayer link, for world intercession, national and international prayer programs for world evangelization and for world harvest.
6. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju is the found and president of Uju International gospel ministries for public ministries, church planting and rural evangelism.
7. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju is the founder and chancellor of El University of Theology and Biblical Seminary for the growth and advancement of Theological education and to equip called men and women comprehensively.
8. Uju Gospel publications was founded and established by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju in order to publish and spread gospel literatures and other soul winning materials.
9. Campaigners Christian library was founded by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju for the reading pleasure and research comforts of the Christian community and all who want to know more about JESUS.
10. Advanced college of pastoral studies was established and founded by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju for the advanced studies and for postgraduate business of El Theological College.
11. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju is the chairman and founder of El Group of theological schools for the building and equipping the body of Christ and for the spreading and solidification of Bible Holiness across churches.
12. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju established intercontinental school of ministry in order to carry the gospel across the continents and to spread the Bible holiness across the continents.
13. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju is the founder of Eltheco school of ministry and the director of it also.
14. Rev Prof Emma Ononuju is the initiator and founder of Eltheco internet theological seminary to reach everyone with theological education.
15. DR (Mrs.) Alice Zuriel Ononuju is the founder and the director of Compassionate Women Outreach Ministries for benevolent services and for soul winning programmes.
16. DR (Mrs.) Alice Zuriel Ononuju is the founder of Great Women of Impact, an outreach ministry for rural evangelism and soul winning activities.
17. DR (Mrs.) Alice Zuriel Ononuju is the shepherdess of Redemption Campaigners mission, for grooming and equipping the saints.
18. DR (Mrs.) Alice Zuriel Ononuju is the Director and founder of Compassionate domestic and catering school Aba.

THE PRESIDENT’S PROGRAMMES FOR THE STUDENTS
The president and founder of El Theological College, International Institute of Missions and El University of theology and Biblical seminary, Rev Prof Emma Ononuju has special features in these godly institutions. Some of the programmes are weekly while others are monthly. These programmes are for the students, to the students and within the students meeting in the college. Below are the presidents special programmes for the students.

1. PRESIDENTIAL TALK

The presidential talk in the college is a specific teaching prepared by the president and founder of the above institutions for the students which comes once every week. It is always a combined talk where every student from Eltheco, Intermissio, Elunitabs and IVBI gather together once in a week, specifically on Fridays to listen to the powerful and special lecture from the president and founder of the institutions. It is always two and half hours lecture in the afternoon of the Friday of every week. The lecture deals on ministry, missions, charisma, spirituality, Ecclesiology or on Biblical preaching and teaching. It is always great.

1. THURSDAY DELIVERANCE PROGRAMME

This is another combined programmed, when every student from IVBI Intermissio, Elunitabs and students from Eltheco gather to hear from Rev Prof Emma Ononuju, the president and the founder of the Institutions. This is always the hour of healing, deliverance, freedom, breakthrough, loosing, binding and the hour of upliftment among the believers. This programme is followed with miracle, signs and wonders among the students. It is two hours programme but always allows the Holy ghost to control. It comes once every Thursday between 1pm and 3pm.

THE UNDERGRADUATE COURSES AND ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES FOR THE FRESHMEN AND THE SOPHOMORES

This page showcases the general courses for the first and second year students who are majoring in theology, missions or in Ecclesiology and who shall either be stationed ministers, missionaries or African specialist preachers.

The courses below were selected from the major needs and from necessary courses to equip the students. These courses are liable to change or to be substituted with similar or different course for the same people.

The idea of this does not mean that a student from the above mentioned group of students must study all the courses listed below, but it does mean that he or she must study some or majority of the courses listed below in his or her first or second year of enrolment in El Theological College.

The student has no right to choose any course of his or her choice from the list of courses below. The dean of studies selects the best courses for each particular season for the students without any enquiry from the students.

The under listed courses may also be studied in 300 and 400 levels but in different and higher grades and higher levels according to the class.
