ELTHICS AND COLLEGIATE STANDARDS

Ethics and collegiate standards are the mood, mode, system and the moral standards of living and behavior expected from both students, staff and all lectures of the college. Hence this Bible college is noted for its righteousness, holiness and discipline, there is therefore, great need for all around, within and without for institution in order to catch the Christian philosophy of the founder.

LAWS TO TEACHING STAFF
The employment of every staff in Eltheco is the business of the president of the college, unless otherwise, he may delegate the campus director (Rector) to do that on his behalf and send the particulars to him immediately. There are spiritual and academic qualifications of the teaching staff of El Theological college Nigeria. El Theological college is also abbreviated as “ELTHECO:.
Every academic staff (lecturer) must be saved and sanctified, and must be in sympathy with the holiness standards of this college.
Must belong to a church as a minister whose ministries are confirmed.
Must have desire to teach and must have applied through the president.
Must at least have his or her masters degree in theology, missions, religion, Biblical studies or master degree in a church related discipline in any of the eltheco approved institutions.
Must have sound Biblical doctrines and must show physical evidences of spiritual soundness.
Must present literal evidences of his knowledge by presenting all his credentials at the time of employment.
El Theological college does not consider, nor recognize any lecturer who has not produced the evidence of his or her claims or evidences of his or her qualification such as certificates, transcripts, testimonials and documents.
Any unsanctified (carnal) minister who applies to teach in El Theological college, shall not be employed , as his life may contradict our emphasis and standards.
Must have been a Christian for not less than eight years.
Must have clear evidences of good behavior, love, faith and faithfulness as a holiness believer.

LAWS IN THE COLLEGE
There are many things our members, students, staff and board members shall not do because those things contradict our plans, progress, emphasis and our faith.

Staff and board members of El Theological college shall not establish another Bible college with a different administration, while still working in El Theological college.
No student of El Theological college shall be admitted in another Bible College while still studying in El Theological college.
A member of the admin council, governing council (senate) or a member of the board of directors of Eltheco and intermittio shall not be a member of a board in another Bible college while still serving in El Theological college as a board member.
Any lecturer of El Theological college or international institute of missions who is involved in another Bible college as a lecturer and does not give more than two days in a week to El Theological college shall be considered as a visiting lecturer in El Theological college.
Any lecturer who is involved in a church programmes as a pastor, assistant pastor or as a minister of any level in his church who also does not give up to three (3) days to EL Theological college in a week, and who does not work between 8am to 5pm, shall be considered as a part time staff.
El Theological college shall not issue any certificate to the student who claimed to have studied in other institutions before his or her admission in El Theological who could not show any evidence, credentials or any certificate to authenticate such claim.
Any new campus before its first graduation may be headed by a coordinator appointed by the president. This means at the absence of a rector in a new campus, a coordinator shall be appointed or a supervisor may be acting.
When a rector, is appointed in a new campus that had earlier headed by a coordinator, the rector shall be an administrator, while the coordinator shall remain as the coordinator, but without fully involvement in the campus administration.
The president shall have the right to visit campuses, classrooms and shall from time to time visit the churches and ministries of the students of El Theological college in order to encourage, advise and to help them in their ministries and to boost their personal relationships with their churches.
No lecturer in El Theological college or in international institute of missions shall open or run his or her own Bible college while still teaching in eltheco, this may result to clash of duties if occur.

CAUSES FOR THE REMOVAL OF ANY MEMBERS OF THE BOARDS
Members of the board of directors, members of the governing council or members of the administrative council can be removed, if the person violets the scriptures and the college laws such as the following ones below:
If such a one, is convicted of any criminal offence by the court of law.
If such a one is inefficient in duties and the general business of the college through deliberate unfaithfulness.
If he or she is blind, crippled, lame, deaf, mad or sick that he or she can’t function well in the business of the Lord in the college.
If that person violets the laws and principles of the college as are stipulated in the constitution of Eltheco.
If he or she establishes another Bible college in pretence to take way the students of El Theological college to that his new Bible college.
If he or she is misbehaving, living in sin or caught in misconduct capable of destroying the image of this Bible college.
If he or she is no longer serious to attend, the meetings of board, through his personal negligence and carelessness.
If he or she carries the meeting of the college to none members of the college or spread false rumor against the college in order to destroy the college.
If the member becomes sinful, rebellious, disobedient or wicked.

CAUSES FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE TEACHING STAFF
The president (the founder) of El Theological college has the right to employ, right to deploy, right to promote, right to redeploy and right to terminate the appointment of any staff. The removal of the teaching staff shall be caused by the following issues:
When such staff is no more in the city of the college and no more willing to continue his teaching business in Eltheco.
When he or she is no more sound spiritually and mentally.
When such a staff is no more strong enough to teach and to do all necessary services in the college.
If the staff is misbehaving, living in sin or caught in misconduct contrary to Christian leader.
When such a staff is no more serious with his business in El Theological college or when he or she continues in deliberate and frequent absence.
When there is a contrary report against him or her which has been proved to be true.
If he or she violets the college order, laws and principles including illegal money collection.
If such a staff is not a good teacher and if there are proved reports form students that he or she does not teach very well.
If he or she dies, becomes blind, lame, cripple, sick, deaf or becomes insane.
If he is disobedient, proud and dishonest and lives contrary to our holiness standards.

CERTIFICATES, COMMISSIONING AND AWARDS
El Theological college, international institute of missions shall award certificates and diplomas to the qualified students. After the school of ministry, mission week and after the Pentecost week, another programmes where certificates will still be awarded to the qualified participants. El Theological college or international institute of missions shall not award certificate to any student who did not complete his course, nor to anyone that did not complete his or her credit hours. El Theological college at the eve of every graduation, shall commission and ordain the grandaunts and finally pray for them and teach for efficiency in their fields of ministries as they go out to preach and teach all nations. At the graduation ceremony special awards shall be given to the best student, most diligent student, most performed well in one area or the other. The special awards also are given to lecturers who performed very well in their teachings and other academic activities in El Theological college or in international institute of missions. This is to appreciate and to encourage them.

Some good spirited individuals and those whose services, testimonies and efforts have contributed to the growth of the church, government, society and the growth of individuals in Nigeria or beyond shall be honoured and be decorated by El Theological college when such need arises. Such honour by El Theological college to such individuals shall accompany the issuance of certificates.

El Theological college shall award certificates to those whose services to humanity are appreciate. All certificates or papers above diploma issued by El Theological college shall come from affiliate institutions. In this we mean that El Theological college shall award papers from accredited institutions which El Theological college is affiliated with. Awards in El Theological college shall take place during graduation or matriculation of the college.

GENERAL ISSUES IN THE COLLEGE
The general issues are some of the issues that are of great importance which are included in this website. These include some ministries and businesses of the college.
MINISTRY: As ministers in training, the students of El Theological college shall be involved in both personal and collective ministries in their churches, and outside their churches, in order to be well equipped. The college shall have the right send them and use them when deemed necessary and where deemed necessary as well.
CHURCH PLANTING: Church planting and weekend ministries are parts of the college activities, students therefore shall be involved in weekend ministries and church planting as parts of their works for the Lord. The college has the right to delegate them for God’s work.
SCHOLARSHIP: El Theological college and international institute of missions shall award scholarship to the indigent students upon their application with the approval of the governing council of that campus. Scholarship lasts only but three (3) trimester. Unless the applicant re-applied.
Nevertheless, any lecturer who wants in service training, that is teaching and studying in El Theological college” shall only be on scholarship and shall study free, if he or she is not receiving salary or any support from El Theological college or international institute of missions as a result of his labours in El Theological college or in international institute of missions, he or she also shall pay all his or her tuition fees and other related fees in the college.

Lecturers or staff scholarship (free studies without payment) is only depended on the fact that the staff is not receiving any cash for his labours in this college. Being a staff in El Theological college or international institute of missions does not warrant such a staff to study without payment in this college.

SIGNATORIES: No campus of El Theological college shall run bank account, either as a deposit or any bank transaction without the signature of the president. Every property, land, motors, equipment or instrument brought with the name of the college. The name and signature of the president of El Theological college is the most authentic name and signature in the college purchases, agreements or any external transaction, therefore, no landed property shall be purchased without he president knowledge, approval and signature.

LECUTRERS SALARIES AND SUPPORTS: Lecturers are paid salaries, and supports according to their service and days they give to the college. Lecturers on part time shall receive part time salary, while the visiting lecturers shall also receive equal support and salaries according to their services. El Theological college and international institute of missions consider full time lecturers or full time staff as only those staff who come to work on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and those who come to work by 8am and close by 5pm each of the five days of the week except on Saturday that is a half day. Any staff whose services are not up such level is considered part time or visiting lecturer and shall receive salary or support accordingly.

BOOKSHOP: El Theological college runs a Christian bookshop where students and lecturers shall purchase their academic books and other materials. The name of the bookshop is Emancipation Christian bookshops.

EMANCIPATION CHRISTIAN BOOKSHOP: Emancipation Christian bookshops is an organ of the college that sells and distributes Christian books, theological books, missionary books and text books for the college. Books from the college shall be sold to staff of the college does not grant any one to collect, receive or take any book without payment from the bookshop manager.

ELTHECO COMPUTERS: El Theological college runs computer department in the college and the name of that computer department is Eltheco computer. That department shall type, photocopy, laminate and store the department documents of the college, computer department shall type all letters and all presidents materials, lectures handouts, college letters and other important matters also does not general computer works and to serve customers with love and politeness.

COURSES FOR STUDENTS: As a theological college and as a college to prepare gospel ministers, the college shall equip the students spiritually, ministerially and academically, other beneficial courses are Biblical studies, Christian ministry, missions, Christian education, philosophy, Arts and managerial studies, religion, theology and other ministerial courses to groom the students to be their best in the gospel ministry. El Theological college divided her courses according to their departments in order to equip the students with needed information in the ministries. There are departments in El Theological college according to courses. We have up to 56 departments.

LIBRARY: The college has a library. The use of the library is depended on faithfulness. Any student or lecturer wishing to borrow book or books from the library shall write the name of the book(s), date collected and date to return the book. Stealing books from the library is a serious offence in our college.

EXTENSION COLLEGE CAMPUSES: El Theological college has many extension campuses in Nigeria. The headquarters of the college shall be at Aba where the college stared. Campuses are headed by a director or rector. The rectors of the campuses are called the campus director. The name of the college everywhere shall be El theological college. Every campus of El Theological college is under the headquarters in Aba, as every director (rector) is under the president and founder of El Theological college Nigeria. Every campus of the college shall enjoy every benefit of the college or every benefit of the headquarters of the college in Aba.

COUNSELING AND PRAYERS: As a Bible college where gospel ministers are being trained, the students, staff and the president of El Theological college shall have time to pray for Nigeria, to pray for those in authority, to pray for the poor in the society, to pray for themselves, for the college, for churches, for gospel ministers and for whatever topic the Lord may lead them to pray. The students and staff shall have time to visit prisons, hospitals, orphanages, motherless homes and leper colonies to share gifts, prayers and counseling with such people. The staff, students and president of El Theological college shall often pray for people and counsel the weak, faithless and the discouraged in order to restore such one to the Lord.

REMOVAL OF THE ANCIENT LANDMARK: Bible says “curse be he that remove the ancient landmark which their fathers set Deut 27:17. The registered name of this institution is El Theological College, therefore, the name stands as the ancient landmark which shall not be removed. Cursed is that man or woman who would scatter, spilt, deceive, disorganize or break El Theological college. He is also cursed who may tomorrow change the name of the college, the sign post, the vision and the students of El Theological college. That person will plant, but cannot reap, he shall sow, but can never harvest. His generations shall face disappointments, poverty, early death and fears. His family, church, business, pocket properties and plans shall end up in crisis, pain and in fruitlessness. Peacelessness shall be his portion all the days of his or her life. El Theological college is the landmark, lecturers, students and board members are advised to avoid anything that would split or disorganize the college to avoid attracting these curses. Any lecturer, staff, student or board members who has a good vision of establishing a Bible college is advised to resign honorably and to seek for the prayer of the president for his prosperity instead of attracting generations curses as stated above.
EL EMANCIPATION MINISTRY: As a Bible college established to train gospel ministers and workers in God’s vineyard. El Theological college shall train spiritual armies as the prayer squad for deliverance, periodic night vigils and prayer team for Nigeria and other nations, prayer armies for the church, for families and frequent prayers for breaking of curses in human communities and breaking of the curses in cursed land, salvation of souls and for the total freedom of humanity. The name of the squad is El Emancipation ministry. It is a warfare group of the college that is fully trained and mapped out for spiritual wars. El Emancipation ministry shall be engaged in all warfare prayers in the college campuses for salvation and for deliverance of the people.
TEXT BOOKS, HANDOUTS AND STUDY MATERIALS: The text books, handouts and other teaching materials from the lecturers, whether video, cassettes, tapes and other material for the teaching of the students in El Theological college and internal institute of missions shall pass through the president and founder of El Theological college. This is to avoid heresy, contrary teaching and that which the college does not accept.
SALES OF TEACHING MATERIALS: Whether text books, handouts and other teaching materials prepared for the students by the lectures shall be sold at the moderate prices and with an aim to helping the students succeed. Lectures should not use it as opportunity to cheat the students.
STUDENTS FROM OTHER BIBLE COLLEGES: When a student is seeking for admission in El Theological college or international institute of missions, such a student, shall produce evidences of his calling, but if he has obtained papers form other Bible colleges before applying in El Theological college, such a student shall produce evidences to confirm his claims before he or she shall be admitted in Eltheco.

OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOSPEL PREACHING CHURCHES: As an inter-denominational Bible college, El Theological college and international institute of missions shall continue to maintain smooth and close relationship with churches. We are colabours with the churches to prepare and to teach the members and help them to be ruptured. We also train the pastors and ministers and equip them, help them to be more efficient and livelier in order to teach the members. We send ministers to churches who shall build the churches for the Lord, while the churches send their members to us who shall be ministers of God after their training.
