HOW TO APPLY FOR EXTERNAL STUDIES

Intermissio Open Bible School and other schools in this website are very easy to apply. Those desiring to study in any of the schools in this website should do so by searching for the application form, fill the form and send it to us through the means of contact below or write to us through our email, or through the face book of this institution, you can also call us on phone if in any difficult situation as a result of contacting us or if the form is not available to your reach. To call us on phone may be the fastest and the easiest method to reach us if in any confusion or in any difficult situation.

Desirous students from distant locations who want to study in correspondence, in internet (online studies) or study from other countries are regarded as external students, while their studies are known to us as external studies and the term “External studies” is applicable to every student who is not in our school compound or who is not taking courses directly and facially from the lecturers in the classrooms at our campus. Based on this therefore, every external student should seek for the admission form for external studies, no matter the name or the type of school he or she may desire to study or apply to study. The form for external studies solves the whole problems and stands as the form for every other school off campus or every other school in this website.

NEW PROGRAMMES OF INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MISSIONS
International Institute of missions is the most focused Bible institution in the country. It is the most missionary and the most evangelistic Bible institution in the country. International institute of missions stands as the most international and most practical Christian institution in Nigeria. The primary vision of international institute of missions is to train, equip, disciple and to send missionaries to mission fields. It has two major fields of missions, namely foreign missions and home missions. The present programmes of international institute of missions are to admit and train missionaries, cross cultural ministers, freelance preachers, mobile evangelists, field missionaries, church planters, church leaders, specialized ministers, lay leaders, inter-denominational ministers, evangelists, soul winners, prayer warriors, charismatic ministers, revivalists, field teachers, tent making ministers, parachurch ministers ad all ministers of the same categories.

International Institute of Missions (Intermissio) offers Diplomas and Bachelor degrees to her qualified students. International institute of missions runs the postgraduate programs of the ADVANCE COLLEGE OF PASTORAL STUDIES by the official permission of El Theological College Nigeria that owns such institution. Advanced college of pastoral studies is an official arm of El Theological college in dealing with postgraduate matters.   1. DURATION OF STUDIES

International Institute of missions admits students for both regular, part time and for correspondent studies. It is a four year degree course or a two year diploma course and a one year certificate course. It is a full school of its own and on its merit. It is not a part of any existing institution, though runs the postgraduate programmes of the Advanced college of pastoral studies through the permission and approval of El Theological College that owns the postgraduate school.

As a school of its own, international institute of missions runs her own programmes with its full management, separate administration, separate supervisions, independent programs and independent ministries.   1. ADMISSION PERIODS

International Institute of missions admits students by JANUARY, MAY, AND SEPTEMBER of every year. It admits both internal and international students for specific ministerial training. Nevertheless, international students can be admitted outside the designated months of admission with the approval of admin council.

  1. GOALS OF INTERMISSIO

The supreme task of intermission is to train, equip and disciple adherents of JESUS CHRIST and to send them out to mission fields and for soul winning, church planting and for the general gospel businesses.

  1. COURSES AVAILABLE IN INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MISSIONS

Courses available in international institute of missions (Intermissio) are the same with the academic curses enlisted in this website. Please see courses and departments or lecture outlines and departments. The courses in El Theological college and those of international institute of missions are the same courses, unless where and when the students of international institute of missions desired to be specialized in missions, evangelism, church planting, cross cultural studies or in specific courses relating to missions, cultures, anthropology or courses relating to field ministries, international studies or diplomatic studies as well.

  1. RECENT STRATEGIES OF INTERMISSIO

International institute of missions (intermission) has recently resolved to project the under listed programmes in ministry.

    • To train international students on half scholarship or on full scholarship.
    • To reach the unchurched countries of the world .
    • To train ministers from Asia and North Africa.
    • To help poor students who are called to preach.
    • To help ministers from non Christian nations in church growth.
    • Scholarship for students from Africa.
    • Bonus for students from intermission who can plant churches in unchurched areas.
    • Building strong spiritual soldiers for world harvest .
    • Plans to cause spiritual revival among the Christian churches in the world.
    • Plans to train gospel ministers for specific mission purposes.

      WHAT INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MISSIONS HOLDS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
      International institute of missions is a designated theological institution that is bent to equip and to train gospel ministers, especially gospel missionaries for home and foreign missions. The primary purpose of international institute of missions is to make the entire world the gospel parish. International institute of missions does not serve students from Nigeria alone, nor from Ghana and never from Africa alone but gospel ministers from other part of the world and from every Christian denomination and from every race and tribe. Below are what the institution holds for international students.

      1. TUITION FREE

      International students who can be identify by their pastors and local boards shall be on tuition scholarship for two years. All called men and women from other nations whose calling shall be confirmed their local pastors with evidences shall study without any demand for their tuition fees if such students are admitted in international institute of missions.

      1. FREE ACCOMONDATION

      All international students who are admitted in international institute of missions shall not pay for accommodation fees if they are living in the college hostel alone. They shall pay for their hostel fees if they are living outside the college campus, but hired their own accommodations.

      1. FREE ELECTRICITY BILLS AND OTHER LOGISTICS

      All international students who gained admission in international institute of missions shall not pay their electrical and electricity bills if they are living in the college campus and in the college hostel. No international student shall pay any bill if such is living in the college hostel or in campus.

      1. PREACHING AND TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS

      International students who are admitted in international institute of missions shall always be given pupil of Redemption Campaigners mission for preaching and for teaching on Sundays and on weekly days to preach and to teach for the purpose of ministry perfection.

       

      1. MINISTRY ASSIGNMENTS

      International institute of missions shall admit students form other nations of the world and such students shall be given ministerial assignements or ministerial appointments in the churches of like faith as part time pastors or part time evangelists in the local churches in the country. Such international students may take full time appointments if they wish or remain part timers with such churches.

      1. SPECIAL TRAINING IN BIBLICAL PREACHING

      Every international student admitted in international institute of missions shall be specifically trained and groomed as an international preacher with great concentration on Biblical preaching. Every international student shall pass through six months of practical preaching, whether that is his or her major or not.

      1. FREE CHARISMATIC TRAINING

      Every international student must pass through charismatic class for twelve months in order to learn how to cast out devils, liberate the oppressed, heal the sick, loose the bound and break the yokes of the devils, including demonic covenants. Every international student admitted in international institute of missions must be trained to be charismatic.

      1. FREE EVANGELISTIC TRAINING

      The purpose of the scholarship of every international student in international institute of missions is evangelism and church growth. Every international student admitted in international institute of missions must be groomed, equipped, trained and be properly disciple in soul winning strategies and in church growth principles in order to cause church growth as he or she goes back to his or her country.

      WHAT INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MISSIONS HOLDS FOR NON CHRISTIAN NATIONS AND THEIR MINISTERS
      Non Christian nations and communities are held in higher esteem by God and by the people of God. International institute of missions regards and values non Christian nations and all unchurched lands. Based on the fact that God loves such lands and nations, international institute of missions also loves and prays for such nations. Below are among other things which international institute of missions holds for such nations and gospel ministers in such lands.

      1. FULL SUPPORT IN THEIR THEOLOGICAL TRAINING

      Christians and called men and women from non Christian countries who desire to study in international institute of missions, shall be supported financially in paying their tuition fees, levies and other necessary helps if such ones come with the letters and approvals from their local church pastors, and the local church boards of their congregations indicating their approval for the training of the applicants in our theological institutions.

      1. FREE ACCOMMODATION

      The candidates from non Christian nation who desire to study in international institute of missions who came with the approval letter from their local church pastors and the local church board shall be granted free accommodation, throughout their tenure of studies in our college. The student shall be benefited with free accommodation, free electricity consumption, free facilities and free campus levies.

      1. FREE BIBLES AND FREE HELPFUL BOOKS

      Such students from non Christian nations who desire to study in international institute of missions shall be supplied and be helped with some copies of the king James Bible and with some other Christian books, if such students come with approval letters from their local pastors and the approval of their local church board which approves their schooling in international institute of missions and fully authenticate the sincerity of such Christians.

      1. SPECIAL TRAINING IN SOUL WINNING

      Students from non  Christian nations who desire to study in international institute of missions with the approval of their local church pastors and their local church boards shall be given scholastic attention and shall be specifically trained in home missions, global evangelism and on strategies for church growth coupled with some courses in church planting in order to succeed in ministry.

       

      1. SPECIAL TRAINING IN SIGNS AND WONDERS

      Students from non Christian nations who desire to study in international institute of missions shall be trained specifically on the Biblical signs and wonders and on the principles of Bible miracles. These specially training shall help the students excel in their ministries as true miracles shall attract the unbelieving world to follow Christ.

      1. SPECIFIC TRAINING IN UNCTION AND CHARISMA

      Students from non Christian nations who desire to study in international institute of missions shall be specifically trained in the keys to ministry unction and in the ethics of Christian charisma in order to build them and also help them to build successful gospel ministries in their countries which shall be followed with signs and wonders every day, through the Holy ghost power.

      WHAT INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MISSIONS HOLDS FOR INDIGENT STUDENTS FROM AFRICAN COUNTRIES
      International institute of missions is specifically an institution of missions, church growth and institution of church planting and Bible evangelism. The aims and objectives of international institute of missions are church growth, global evangelism and church planting in where ever man is found. International institute of missions shall support every godly effort or programme that shall result to evangelism and church growth and also ready to support any godly agent or instrument for mission works an church growth. Indigent students are among the instruments of evangelism and church growth in Christian ministry. International institute of missions is ready to support, help or work up any poor student who is called by God but hindered by finance to undergo his or her theological training, no matter where ever such student may come from. We shall help and support such student to be trained without any consideration to his or her nationality, tribe, race, denomination, age, colour, state and his or her stature. Bible encourages helping the poor and this work must be carried out by the church or believers in Christ. Below are what the international institute of missions owe to the indigent students who gained admission in international institute of missions.

      1. SCHOLARSHIP

      Any indigent student, who appeals for free tuition fee (scholarship) while admitted in international institute of mission, shall be given positive attention if such student is faithful, diligent, and obedient and can obtain letters from his local pastor and the local church board indicating the sincerity of the student, the present condition of the student and the reason why the student shall be granted scholarship in international institute of missions with possible evidences to convince the institution. Without any possible evidence of the incapability of the applicant, the scholarship shall not be granted to such applicant.

      1. SHALL BE GIVEN FREE ACCOMMODATION

      The poor student in international institute of missions who is on scholarship shall also be given free accommodation in the college campus, and shall be helped in some possible fees (not all) from the students union. He or she shall be on tuition free, without paying anything for two years, but may go beyond two years if he scores above 3.00 cum of 4.00 in each trimester examination.

      1. SHALL BE ASSIGNED TO MINISTERIAL DUTIES

      The indigent student in international institute of missions who is on scholarship is under the control of the institution which has the right assign such student to some specific duties or errands. Such duties may include administrative, social labourious and majorly on ministerial assignments. The indigent student in international institute of missions is partially considered a casual part time worker in the campus but without monthly salary.

      1. SHALL BE SUPPORTED IN MINISTRY

      Any student in international institute of missions who is on scholarship who desires to establish a gospel ministry, Christian fellowship church, any church or parachurch ministry with a single aim of winning souls plant church or to promote the gospel shall be supported by the international institute of missions if such student applies for help, and if such attempt is proved to be true and godly by the college delegates or by any organ sent by the institution for that purpose.

      WHAT INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MISSIONS HOLDS FOR GOSPEL MINISTERS AND MISSIONARIES WHO CAN PLANT CHURCHES IN UNCHURCHED AREAS
      Gospel ministers and missionaries who can plant churches in unchurched areas of the world shall be supported by the institution of missions to do so. International institute of missions shall encourage, support, help and work with any student trained by international institute of missions who desires to work in the mission field or in foreign missions shall be supported by international institute of missions. If such student had earlier indicated such calling while in his or her theological in international institute of missions and had earlier obtained the approval of the institution. Below are what the international institute of missions owes to such missionaries who were trained by intermission who are called missionaries.

      1. FINANCIAL SUPPORTS

      1. SUPPLY OF GOSPEL EQUIPMENT

      International institute of missions (intermissio) shall support any student trained by international institute of missions (intermissio)with band set, public address system, complete gospel equipment and other needed electronic needs in the gospel if such a one is approved by the board of missions during his or during her school days in international institute of missions as a missionary and if such a one also applied during the ones training period as a called missionary in intermissio.

      1. FOOD DONATIONS

      There shall be periodic food donations to the missionaries in mission fields who were trained by international institute of missions (intermissio) and who also indicated their calling as missionaries during their school days and were approved by the board of missions of (intermissio) as missionaries. The food donations are not monthly programmes but periodic, which may occur four or six times in a year. Required items are rice, beans, yams, fruits, beverages, garri, salt and other food items for the missionaries.

      1. ACCOMMODATION RENTS

      Students trained by international institute of missions (intermissio) who indicated their calling earlier as missionaries and were approved by the board of missions shall be helped and be supported by their house rents. International institute of missions shall pay their house rents for four years, their fellowship hall rent for four years and their transport allowances for four years also, if such missionaries were trained by intermission and had indicated their call as missionaries earlier while in their training and were approved by the board of missions. Such rents shall be classified as missionary seed every month by the intermissio.

His or her specific training must major on missions, international or diplomatic studies, cross cultural communications, field evangelism and cultural anthropology.

      1. WILL BE GIVEN SPECIFIC TRAINING

      Any student admitted in international institute of missions from Nigeria or other parts of West Africa who indicated to be a missionary in other nations, who also come with approval letter from his or her local pastor and local board, shall be given specific training in theology, missiology, Ecclesiology, Anthropology and other internationally related courses including cross cultural communications.

      1. SHALL BE SUPPORTED IN MISSION FIELDS

      Any called person from Nigeria or other parts of West Africa who studied in international institute of missions, with approval letter from his or her pastor and the local board approving him or her as a called missionary, who also has been approved by the board of missions of international institute of missions, shall be supported by international institute of missions to plant church in such foreign land and shall be supported with mission and fields periodic donations for missionaries in such foreign land and not in his country.

      1. ORDINATION AND COMMISSIONING

      Trained students of international institute of missions who were admitted with the approval letters from their local pastors and the local boards confirming such students as called missionaries, whose missionary calling has been approved by the board of missions shall be ordained and commissioned free of charge by the national board of ordination and ministerial licensing and shall also be helped by intermissio to purchase gospel equipment, music set and other needed equipment for the gospel ministry in such foreign lands and foreign nation if they applied for such and not for their country.
