MINISTRY FOCUS OF THE COLLEGE

El theological college in collaboration with the international institute of missions are involved in ministries to the church, to the world, to the society and to the students in the colleges, even to families. such ministries includes:

Building the Builders:
one of the most important programmes of El Theological College and international institute of missions is to build those who can build others. The primary purpose of our college is to MAKE MEN who will make others Mtt 4: 19. it is to prepare called men spiritually who in turn will prepare the church for the rapture, for services and for the defense of the faith.

Producing the flames of fire: Iron sharpens iron, our duty as a holiness Bible College is to produce fire brand, men at the gap, holy ghost full and Elijah type of  men and women in our churches, our students are full of fire, power and full of unction hence our aim is to make our students the present flame of fire in their various areas of ministrations.

Equipping the saints: Our strategy in the college is to equip the saint for the task ahead. We expose the students to the deepest research, to the highest mountain and bring them in closest contract with their master who called them for the job here on earth.

Producing academic ministers: The country has gone to high in technology, in science in occultism and in philosophy. Our pulpits now need educated and well groomed minister to occupy them. Our aim in meeting the issues of rapid contrary development is to groom our students with academic visions, thus we produce more academic students than others

Creating Ministry Vision: Above all excellent works we are doing, our college is bent to create and to impart ministry vision into the students our students are built with ministry of Jesus Christ whose examples shall be followed in all areas of life. Ministry vision is created in the heart, tongue and conviction of every student in El Theological college.

Providing Compressive Equipment: in comprehensive equipment, we mean making the students to be balanced as gospel ministers. This means making the students  to be academically high, spiritually rich and charismatically great it is based on these three issues that our students score more than others who confess the same but never possess the same with us. We produce academic, charismatic and spiritual students who can face the battle without fear.

Vision Creation: Our Bible Colleges are vision creators. We emphasize and teach the need and necessity of great vision, thus we are bent to create impart and direct the students to successful part way  of  vision.

Restoration of the lost glory: Ministers integrity, prestige and influence are presently marred by false teachings, promotion of money, self protection, prosperity preaching, false prophecies, occultism and deceitful sermons at the pulpits. These ugly trends have made the pulpit to lose her power while the ministers also lost their respect and honor, but our Bible Colleges are established to restore such lost glories by teaching, training and grooming men and women who can teach the truth with the fear of God in holiness and soundness of spirit.

Bringing back the ark of God in the Lord is more in the church
presently the ark of covenant of the Lord is no more in the Church due to lying, preaching and sinning among the ministers, aiming at money and blind towards eternity, building empires and forgetting kingdom, beautifying the earth and losing the heaven, coupled with ministries with deceit that have filled and polluted our lands nowadays. El Theological College is established to bring back to the church to preach the truth, preaching on salvation, sanctification, the rapture, the judgment of God, holy living and the Bible truth.

10.       Healing the pulpit from shame
Illiteracy is the root of pulpit shame. By pulpit shame we mean the pastor becoming ashamed to preach to educated men and women in his church while he (the pastor) is an illiterate. Many pastors today are suffering from pulpit shame. The primary task of El Theological College is to heal ministers from such unwanted shame, thus we have both academic, non academic and preparatory classlessness. In our bible college to bring the students to the standard that will heal them from shy and from shame. Our college has comprehensive equipment style for the students of different educational levels. 11.       Casting Judas out of the Church:
To cast Judas out of the church is a primary purpose of our bible college in Nigeria. What does it mean to cast Judas out of our Church? It means to cast out the love of money, to cast out the betrayer of the truth and to cat out the compromiser with evil that have filled and destroyed the pulpits nowadays which have made many ministries and members haters the truth but lovers the world. El Theological College is out to cast out the spirits of Judas out of JESUS church.

12.       HOLINESS AND IMPARTATION
The need for the gospel ministers to be holy shall never stop in our tongue and in our pen. To bring in full all holiness teachings and to be spreading scriptural holiness are the key doctrines and focus of El Theological College. Today’s pulpits are dancing towards Hollywood instead of bible holiness. El Theological College and International Institute of Missions have it as a task to impart, plant, build and fill the students with the doctrines of Holiness in order for them to represent Jesus everywhere.

13.       CORRETING ALL ERRORS CAUSED  BY ILLITERACY:
YES, illiterate has destroyed many things in the church nowadays including false prophecies, false interpretations, false doctrine, fake ministries, fake leaders and all forms of occultism that have filled our lands and churches today. Illiteracy is a destroyer, confuser, deceiver and a killer who has today affected our pulpits and churches, thus our bible colleges come to correct all negative seeds planted by illiteracy by bringing the students to the level  of needed knowledge.

14.       CREATIVE POSITION CHANGES
To create positive changes in our society in the churches and with our pulpits is a tasks in our mission. El Theological College is fighting against evil and building solid society in our days. The buildings of our colleges are to change acrobalism with charisma, to change spiritism with spirituality ,to change occultism with unction and to change illiteracy with knowledge. To change worldness with holiness and to change sins with sincerity is our task as an institution of higher learning.
15.       POSITIONING THE STUDENTS:
Every called man has an assignment to accomplished. When God calls a man or a woman, he assigned such called person on what to do, because God does not call any person without assignments and without responsibilities. It is a mandate to our bible colleges to develop and to establish the called person to discover his or her God given assignment, his areas of specialization and the purpose of his or her calling into the gospel ministry. We build student to understand what to do.

16.       INTRODUCING THE BIBLE TRUTH
El Theological College is the base of truth and righteousness. The entire world is suffering from the poor knowledge of the truth and this is affecting both the church, the pulpit and the society at large, thus ,El theological college is bent to plant and to build the truth into people’s live in order to produce gospel minister that must hate nothing but sin and love nothing but righteousness, representing JESUS who called them into the ministry.

17.       INTRODUCING MINISTRY OF TRANSFORMATION: El Theological College does not leave any student where it met the student.  Unconverted student who is admitted shall never graduate in our Bible College without being converted, while unsanctified believer who is admitted in our Bible College shall never finish without being sanctified, nor can an illiterate admitted in our school  graduate without being a great literate. Our bible colleges have been known with different names by churches. El Theological College is the mountain of transformation to all in different needs.  Different names and tittles have been given to our Bible College as rebuild.

1.         Wilderness of Faith: Although, to study is always stressful, still to study is to know more and to know more is to spread more. El Theological College as the house of higher learning is described as the WILDERNESS OF FAITH where those with faith shall get their manna from above and hear from their God. All called  men and women who want to hear what God wants them to know and to do should come to EL Theological College for greater understanding.

2.         House of Miracles: Like priest, like his people, Prof. Emma Ononuju is a great    and charismatic preacher whose ministries are flowing with unction and followed    by signs and wonders including raising the dead and healing the sick. Students of       El Theological College are built with such impartations, thus El Theological                         College is presently described as HOUSE OF MIRACLES in our days and the             pacesetter in             theological industries in Nigeria and Africa at large.

3.         Seat of Wisdom: Three  presidents of other Bible Colleges in Nigeria who visited El Theological College who also were post graduate students of El Theological College described the College as the seat of Wisdom where fools are made wise, while the wise are made wiser. It is not debatable that those who knew nothing before joining El Theological College left the college with many things including the package of wisdom, thus Eltheco is called “THE SEAT OF WISDOM  where correct and comprehensive spiritual and academic diets are given to the seeker.

4.         Pool of Bethesda: The Pool of Bethesda was a place where people with different sicknesses and  diseases were  healed in the days of Christ. El Theological College and International Institute of Missions presently are the Healing center where people with different problems and spiritual deformities are  helped. The iterates, the sick, the oppressed, the ignorant, the rejected and all with one
problem or the other are helped and spiritually treated in Eltheco, and Intermission, thus they were called the POOL OF BETHESDA because of what the Institutions stand for in our days.

5.         The Upper  Room: El Theological College and International Institute of Missions           are described as the UPPER  ROOM because of the power, vision and the                  unction which the students receive as a result of the presence of the Holy Spirit           and as a result of their joining the moving train of God. Upper room was the place            where the disciples gathered on the day of the Pentecost where the Holy Ghost met them and poured out his power and purity upon them all, thus our college is       called upper room.

6          Temple of Justice: Our Bible Institutions are temple of justice where the mind of            Christ is the  first doctrine and where the  truth and justice are exemplified. No         minister can please God under the Ministry of deceit irrespective of the type of crowd such minister is pulling in his ministry. El Theological College is based on pleasing God and doing those things that can give glory to God, thus it is called         the TEMPLE OF JUSTICE. It is built on truth and justice and as well living on truth          and justice in order to differentiate itself from the corruption of other institutions           that claim to belong to God but  deny to live for God.

7,         Mountain Moriah: This is a place where Abraham sacrificed his son Isaac, a                   place where Abraham gave his all, a place where Abraham made covenant with            God and a place where God gave His greatest promise to Abraham. This was also the very location where David killed Goliath and defeated the philistines. It      was the place where Solomon built the first  temple for God. Calvary where God    gave his begotten son also was the same position with mount moriah it was the same place where God give His only begotten son to the world as a sacrifice for             our sins El Theological College is described as the MOUNTAIN MORIAH which is    a place of total surrender, a place of sacrifice, a place of victory, a place of faith, a    place of total denial and a place to conquer our enemies.

8.         The School  of prophets: The oldest bible College in the world was established by Elijah the prophet of God who gathered zealous men and women of his days in orderly manner to guide them in the true language of God against the voice of Baal and these men were in those days called the sons of the prophets II Kings 2:3. training those who would speak for God did not start today. Tradition says that the sons of the prophets were in the school of prophets established by Prophet. El Theological College and International Institute of Missions are presently described as the SCHOOL OF PROPHETS because they are out to defend the truth and against every wind of doctrine and demonic delusions that have filled our  lands today as the worship of Baal filled the land of Israel in the days of  Elija which made him to establish such school to guide young prophets against false worship.

9.         Mount  Sinai: This is the mountain of the commandment where God initially gave          the ten commandments to the Israelites. It was a place where God met Moses        and the Mountain where God prepared the people for the possession of the land      of canan. Our Bible College has been described as MOUNT SINAI where God        directs His People on what to do and from where God takes His people to their            promised land. El Theological College is the place where God deals with the                    called person and takes him to his divine assignment on earth.
